    No guitarist has ever played with more feeling than Gary Moore. This is beautiful. The first few notes of the extended solo are sublime.The guitar sounds like it has a broken heart. Gary was the BEST. I'm blessed to have known him. He's greatly missed. Quite frankly, Gary was in a class of his own. He was blessed with a very, very special gift. He was the greatest rock guitarist ever.

    This ain't no boy band shit right here. Notice at first there is an expression of sadness before the song begins with tear drops dripping off of his guitar with every note Gary plays. Once the song starts. That is when the sadness turns into heartache and false hopes of a love returning. Once the heartache quiets down with the bass solo Gary Moores Guitar turns into the Judge and the Jury. All of the sudden anger and sadness are at its peak with a solo that is one of the best Solo's of all time imo. Expression has never sounded so good to my ears.

    Some guitarists can play a million notes a minute - but they don't play with soul. Or melody. Gary Moore played had both.

      Amen to Robert Glancy too. I am happy to see that I'm not the only person who feels the way you do. With regards to the music out here they are making now, all I have to say is that it makes me wonder "Who is sleeping with who and/or doing what to move up the charts and what persons would praise people who truly do not have that great of a talent. They make them appear far bigger than what they are (when in fact, there are truly great artists out there who can't get no attention). Why is that?/ Because they don't screw all the producers and/or sleep with them and/or sleep around with all the other music people out there?? It's got me wondering.

    • @GraffitiPhysical
      @GraffitiPhysical 9 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Robert Glancy Probably cause she would love to shag him. Nothing to do with guitar playing and yes just like all of the pop artists, she doesn't have a clue about music.

    I know everyone's here for the main guitar solo (which is amazing in its own right) but the intro is totally spellbinding to me. Incredible touch, feel and emotion. Amazes me how he can go from whisper quiet to screaming so seamlessly, just through use of the volume control and picking attack. Brilliant

    I learned about Gary Moore 4 years ago and since then have listened, studied and loved his music. To me he is the best quitarist I've heard. I'm so sorry that he hasn't received the popularity over here that he deserved. He is definately one of the top 10 guitar players, and every solo he's done should be in the top ten. Listen to this one. One of the best ever. He puts his whole heart in his music. I have heard so many guitarists in person Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jeff Beck and there is no comparison. I am so very disappointed that I never got to hear Gary in person. His music makes me happy, amazed, and even cry at how wonderful he was. He is indeed my idol. Thanks Gary for your outstanding music and thank god for you.
