Ngl, the Hungry Birds remind me of the Bad Piggies in the OG game in a strange sort of way, both being themed around some form of gluttony (with King Pig's hunger for the eggs and The Empress' power accumulation), both having boss enemies that are, less threatening than their initial appearance paints them as (like Corporal Pig and Foreman Pig showing up as regular enemies once they're defeated in Poached Eggs and the first two Hungry Birds, Cornelius and Rex, effectively turned into Neiderflyer's goons after their first kerfuffle with the Angry Birds), and their leades having designated Final Boss energy. With some solid differences like The Empress not having faceless, homogenous goons similar to the Minion Pigs (with the closest I can think of being the Penguins of Madagascar, but they still stand out from one another), the Hungry Birds being more diverse compared to the Bad Piggies effectively being the same species, and the Empress being played more seriously compared to King Pig. I find the similarities and contrasts between the Angry Bird's old enemies and new enemies neat, good work Gerard. Also, a theory that's more of a shot in the dark, I'm assuming the Mighty Eagle is The Empress's estranged child she lost after, shenanigans, involving humankind in her lore flashback (the initial illusion of Mighty to throw off the birds is definitely something ig)
That's exactly what I'm going for. Angry Birds fans do not respond well if there are too many changes, so the Hungry Birds are an evolution of the Bad Piggies And no, there is no relationship between Mighty Eagle and Urduja.

This episode was actually insane to be honest. The amount of plot twists and lore introduced was crazy. The Empress is truly a villain to FEAR, with powers such as... Well, THAT. What were your favourite highlights? Here are some of mine. - We have the return of two familiar faces with an awesome mashup to go alongside their fight. - The Empress faking out The Angry Birds was also a great bit.
Honestly, the Hungry Birds deserve to have their own world and series! I mean, they are just as good as the Angry Birds! I hope they can eventually get along, well except for Nigel and Gale.
Let us hope Leonard, Gary and Courtney appears to the next Episode because they are also a Playables from the angry birds games and without them, The hungry birds are unstoppable to defeat.

Overall, I enjoyed this episode a lot since the attention that the Hungry birds got was definitely needed since some of them fell flat than others during the series. 35:50 - 38:15 Was both cool and funny (Chip did not need to do that to her, that was vile 💀) My main issues are with Gale returning and the motivation for the main flock as it leads to more questions than answers. In short, I feel Gale coming back makes no sense right now. El Porkador died that day, why didn't Gale? Where has she been for most of the season? HOW DID SHE GET ON THE ISLAND??For me, it kinda ruins the impact of Isaac sacrifice knowing that he didn't kill her (and inadvertently making me feel like Isaac losing his eye was all for almost nothing) For the flock, it most lead more questions on why the are fighting against the empress without the power reason as it feels like that's their only motivation so far with them (beside the Phoenix elixir but I believe that's on pause right now).
You raise valid points. The limitations of these videos are that I unfortunately can't cover every detail very clearly without making it an hour long. I'll do my best to address your concerns. After the Reign of Terror, Gale was indeed frozen for many days in that Cosmic Snowstorm. After it melted, Gale sneaked past the stupid Minion Pigs was drifred away from Piggy Island before the Empress captured her like any unfortunate Angry Bird (as seen by her looming Silhouette). Most of the season, she was trapped in the Tower of Power until the Hungry Birds came in this episode and helped her escape by accident. By your logic, it does ruin Isaac's sacrifice, but I didn't intend for Isaac to kill them both (it's a freaking Angry Birds show with kids watching). However, at the price of Isaac's eye, all of the birds and pigs are saved, and the eggs are safe, thus ending the Egg War officially. That is the main course. Stopping Gale was just desert. As for why the flock is fighting the Empress, it's the same as the pigs. She is a threat to the eggs/hatchlings, whose powers and lives will be stolen if she isn't stopped. If I change the Angry Birds protecting their eggs too much, they wouldn't be the Angry Birds anymore. I feared I didn't make it more clear. Thanks for the feedback!

When I hear the name "Hungry Birds", A VHS Video comes to mind where 3 Birds want to eat the Pigs
Ngl, the Hungry Birds remind me of the Bad Piggies in the OG game in a strange sort of way, both being themed around some form of gluttony (with King Pig's hunger for the eggs and The Empress' power accumulation), both having boss enemies that are, less threatening than their initial appearance paints them as (like Corporal Pig and Foreman Pig showing up as regular enemies once they're defeated in Poached Eggs and the first two Hungry Birds, Cornelius and Rex, effectively turned into Neiderflyer's goons after their first kerfuffle with the Angry Birds), and their leades having designated Final Boss energy. With some solid differences like The Empress not having faceless, homogenous goons similar to the Minion Pigs (with the closest I can think of being the Penguins of Madagascar, but they still stand out from one another), the Hungry Birds being more diverse compared to the Bad Piggies effectively being the same species, and the Empress being played more seriously compared to King Pig. I find the similarities and contrasts between the Angry Bird's old enemies and new enemies neat, good work Gerard.
Also, a theory that's more of a shot in the dark, I'm assuming the Mighty Eagle is The Empress's estranged child she lost after, shenanigans, involving humankind in her lore flashback (the initial illusion of Mighty to throw off the birds is definitely something ig)
That's exactly what I'm going for. Angry Birds fans do not respond well if there are too many changes, so the Hungry Birds are an evolution of the Bad Piggies
And no, there is no relationship between Mighty Eagle and Urduja.

Overall, I enjoyed this episode a lot since the attention that the Hungry birds got was definitely needed since some of them fell flat than others during the series.
35:50 - 38:15 Was both cool and funny (Chip did not need to do that to her, that was vile 💀)
My main issues are with Gale returning and the motivation for the main flock as it leads to more questions than answers. In short, I feel Gale coming back makes no sense right now. El Porkador died that day, why didn't Gale? Where has she been for most of the season? HOW DID SHE GET ON THE ISLAND??For me, it kinda ruins the impact of Isaac sacrifice knowing that he didn't kill her (and inadvertently making me feel like Isaac losing his eye was all for almost nothing)
For the flock, it most lead more questions on why the are fighting against the empress without the power reason as it feels like that's their only motivation so far with them (beside the Phoenix elixir but I believe that's on pause right now).
You raise valid points. The limitations of these videos are that I unfortunately can't cover every detail very clearly without making it an hour long. I'll do my best to address your concerns.
After the Reign of Terror, Gale was indeed frozen for many days in that Cosmic Snowstorm. After it melted, Gale sneaked past the stupid Minion Pigs was drifred away from Piggy Island before the Empress captured her like any unfortunate Angry Bird (as seen by her looming Silhouette). Most of the season, she was trapped in the Tower of Power until the Hungry Birds came in this episode and helped her escape by accident.
By your logic, it does ruin Isaac's sacrifice, but I didn't intend for Isaac to kill them both (it's a freaking Angry Birds show with kids watching). However, at the price of Isaac's eye, all of the birds and pigs are saved, and the eggs are safe, thus ending the Egg War officially. That is the main course. Stopping Gale was just desert.
As for why the flock is fighting the Empress, it's the same as the pigs. She is a threat to the eggs/hatchlings, whose powers and lives will be stolen if she isn't stopped. If I change the Angry Birds protecting their eggs too much, they wouldn't be the Angry Birds anymore. I feared I didn't make it more clear.
