- Restoration - Video of my Dad's ( GABRIEL BABU ) Bike, Royal Enfield - KLH 770. I had already posted an unfinished video of the same in my FB and most of my firends in FB asked me to share it in TH-cam and so I'm doing so.
The Bike was more like a family member to us as my Dad used to ride on it since 11th December 1975, the date it was registered and we all the family members still cherish those good old memories.
I wanted the bike to be restored in such away that it should be genuine and Mr. Santosh, the Owner of Enfield Care, Chittoor Road Ernakulam helped me to do as far it is possible. A big thanks to him.
More than your restoration effort, the intention of the restoration moved me a lot bro! I respect your love upon your Dad.

Two cent suggestion : such bikes should be restored as is pin to pin, it should look dito. Then only those old days gets remembered

It's not a G2... It's B1 series engine model. G2 stoped 1968. 1969 to 1974 , 75 B1 series engine model. After 1975 to 1989 B series engine. 90 to 2010 March CI engine model. 2010 to 2020 UCI engine model. Presently J series engine model..👍

Thank you… My Dad loved his bike a lot. A lot of his friends still say that and all have very fond memories tied along to that.
The gunmetal grey and tan color combo really amplifies the look of this. Personally it's my favourite color too.
Just wanted to ask whether the clutch housing cover is changed for some particular reason(technical) or something else?
It was changed due to the alteration work done earlier to change it to 12v. I’m waiting to get it changed to the original clutch cover

Where did you get them seat and knee pad ? And the helmet as well?
The seat and knee pad are custom made as I wrapped it with genuine leather from kochi who does leather works and the helmet I bought it online from Royal Enfield genuine Accessories store, it’s also genuine leather wrapped.

You just have to tske place on the saddle, stitch on the ignition, touch the kickstarter and say the magic words "engune run!"

Its not Electra, I converted it to a 12v Battery and the clutch cover had to be altered.
