I would recommend changing all those black trip switches for proper midi/mega fuses, search about the trip switches on here, unless they are the expensive branded ones all the cheap ones are just dangerous. Also the hammer on crimper gives good results! Very clean and strong, way more of a reliable crimp IMO. Would also recommend heat shrink, really clean install though 😊
Thanks a lot for the recommendations mate. Will definitely look into the breakers, that's ridiculous they aren't safe! I just know somebody who used the hammer on crimps and they ended up coming off completely. Probably user error 👀😂 Yeah heat shrink will be a future upgrade, I just taped them for now but the tape will probably come off in time. Much appreciated 👍🏼
All great except 1 thing, where those wires touch the bracket cut outs, you should put a gromet, cut heater hose, or cut a few more tabs till they don't touch the wire, the vibration from driving could cut into the wire over time, plus the way they are run the wire is pushing on that tab edge. I would hate to see a video of a burnt van. If you find you want more power, Fogstar sells a 12V 608AH. 7kw
Thanks a lot for the concern mate, I see what you mean. Will definitely check it out and look at probably making more of a gap. I'm going to be doing routine inspections of the whole setup too 👍🏼 608AH sounds insane! Ill see how I get on with these little lads 😂

Also a DC breaker for the solar input, those black breakers a shite, unless blue seas systems quality breakers

@@matty_fox yeah those breakers can't handle the amps (yt it) definitely hand/ hydraulic crimp is the way to go and heat shrink
