They've been playing on their own festival with many classic bands and now they headlined on Wacken. Nobody can't say Slipknot is "not real metal" anymore. I was never a fan of them but these guys are legit. They earned their place.
I caught them back to back here and at Blue Ridge and omg. They are still impeccable live. At one point at BR, they had to stop because had fallen or something. There was a medical emergency. And they picked right back up on the 1 from where they stopped.

He was doing false chord screams on AHIG but it was sounding different because his voice was in a very bad condition at that time. He destroyed his voice on ST/IOWA, after that he kept destroying his voice on Vol3 and on AHIG his voice was done. He started using proper false chord scream technique on AHIG but it was too late, because his voice was destroyed because of unproper techniques he used and because of that his false chord screams sounded very bad on AHIG era. His vocal cords was not working properly, you can hear how unhealty his screams sound on AHIG era. After he recovered his voice he started using false chord technique again and today he sounds powerful and brutal.

It's amazing how after so many years Slipknot is still exactly the same as when I started following as a teenager. Amazing moment, band with otherworldly energy, Corey and the whole band breaking everything more than ever. hope to see much more of it

Been to couple hundred concerts in my life, been to 6 of slipknot they still are my favorite live show. The engery, the maggots, the experiance. its like I hit 100% happiness at their shows.
Saw them in 2019 and I'm gonna see them again next year. They always put on an amazing show Corey's scream are so good It would be great to see this full show, or at least not the usual songs that we always get

My brother dragged me to a slipknot concert in like 2016 and I was not a fan of heavy metal at all but my brothers friend ditched so I went expecting it to be awful and it ended up being the best concert I’ve ever been to in my entire life ! The vibe and energy was incredible ! I walked in just a spectator and walked out a big fan and have been a metal head ever since !
I've been waiting half my life for this - and the wait was worth it. This concert was truly one of the best live experiences I have ever had. The energy was so god damn contagious... Still jumping in my seat just watching the video. With a big fat grin on my face. Thank you, W:O:A and Slipknot - you made this evening unforgettable for me!

This performance, this festival, will always be special to me. My first time at Wacken. I’m a longtime Slipknot fan, and it turns out that my angel heart and kidney donor was also a Slipknot fan. I can’t describe the emotions I had being there for this.
