Looks terrific Andrew! Such a nice feeling to get those niggly little projects out of the way, isn't? This will make such a difference in the long run! I think you need to start documenting where your power is coming from so you're not (painfully) surprised in the future. 😉
March rain in the Ngahinapouri area just over 150mm. Surprising how much everything has greened up locally. Most of the maize locally has been cut and stacked.still a few convoys on the road though.
What kind of wood is your post made out of? Also there is an AP for your cell phone that will work as a rough guidance system to keep your spacing even when spreading fertilizer.
Hey Andrew I enjoyed that vid. You will have a model farm shortly. What do you use to top up with phosphorus (p) and potash (K)….?I don’t see you spreading any slurry as we do in Ireland.
Looking good mate
The new fencing looks great 👍 👌
Looking sharp! Good to see the gradual improvements happening, the results after a few years are worth the time invested
Farms looking great
Thanks for another fantastically scenic vid.. 😊.. yer a busy chap always somthing going on.. stay safe 🏴
You’re looking like my ancestors -the Scots. About to throw the log beam for the distance. Lol. Lots of improvements! Farm looks wonderful. ❤
Good job getting rid of that barbed wire! So much better. 👍💯

Posts are from pine which is ground treated. H3 or H4 not sure.
Try and slip a gate in the pond fence, for better access to the future maimai😎
haha yes its definitely in mind
Am I the only farmer that got my posts 15 cm farther apart than planed? Solved by making the hinges a little longer.
just needs a rock spike on the rammer to make it easy with the strainers
Dont tend to need them as the ground is pretty soft around here
👀🙄🐾👍 Looking good Andy are you still getting the icey morning's?
haven't had any icey ones but the temps definitely dropping

From our soil tests our P and K are very high hence we are not putting any on. All the water we use in the cowshed is spread on land.
Yep effluent goes via cowshed straight to paddock pretty much, unless were going through a wet patch
I can't believe how dry ground is in New Zealand, we are still waterlogged in Ireland
We are just coming out of summer
Most of us here will be waterlogged by July 😂
Just let when calves start dropping
Most of our far. Soil is Maeroa ash which is free draining.
Someone needs to buy Doug some earmuffs
Hi. Doug does put ear plugs in so hard to see them.
Poor gate
