I think this song is still important because it's sending the message to love yourself in the best way possible. It doesn't matter if you like makeup, no makeup, clothes blah blah, you're beautiful the way you are. And I think that's really really important. IKR I literally have the same opinion as yours like I like the message they are sending with the song and I love it that they are trying new things musically and concept wise, but for me when I first heard the song I was a bit disappointed. Obviously I do not hate or dislike the song or anything, it's just that when I first watched the teasers the bridge part was the one that was in the teasers so I was really excited for them move into a more minimalistic electronic sound. Although it did take me some time to adapt to this concept, I think it took some time for them to adapt to it too.

I'm fine with Yes I Am not being the most difficult song. When the girls have schedule after schedule, with singing about 4 songs live each time, a less strenuous song is good. What really saves the song tho is their live performances, the way they perform gives so much life to the song and u bet I'ma be bopping away to it. It's not my fave Mamamoo song but I still like it, the message is great and it's fun. Mamamoo keep exploring different kinds of genres and I'm all for it, and it's great how they aren't being limited to just one particular style or concept.

As a kpop fan who does not stan Mamamoo, all I can say about them is that they are much better when they are singing live. All their adlibs and their enjoyment when performing really hooks a lot of people. That's why in Queendom (a competition show between girl groups) they are mostly at the top in terms of fan choices.
Please react to new musics of Mamamoo, like "Paint me". And some of Urban Zakapa musics, like "when we were two", "I don't love you", "nearness is to love" or "when winter comes". I love their voices

yeah, this song is really not that complex or different musically but it defines mamamoo perfectly. they were always the risk-takers of kpop, doing their own thing and not letting the norms and standards restrict them. and all in different ways too. all of the members have wildly different styles and voices that somehow just come together so beautifully. that runway scene at the end of the MV really showcases each of their individual fashion styles - solar with a playfully sexy dress, hwasa in a bodytight jumpsuit showing off her curves, wheein with a more glamorous chic dress, and of course, moonbyul in a very regal androgynous-style pantsuit.

they're not harsh to the artists themselves, maybe the content of the song, or the production, but i don't recall they being harsh on the artists.
