Who knows how "modified" the engine is,but that is one pulling Honda up top for sure! I wouldn't ride like that without leathers myself. Road rash would be an understatement at that speed.
TheCobruhAlienat0r I have hit asphalt and skidded iff in a run off full of rocks at a 150+ on a track in AZ where I live. Not even a scratch...it works.
***** Inhave rode many of thousands of miles in AZ over thebyears with no issues. Learn to be very vigilant and be an offensive driver instead of a defensive driver. Make sure you wear your gear and have fun. Good luck
Lot of people not giving respect to that bike, have you watched any of the other videos of that 240 running? That car is no freakin joke, it's insane fast. Personally I give mad props to that bike, it didn't just pull on it, it ran away and hid. I'm sorry that's impressive shit, only because he was able to do it against that particular car.
0:53 this bike is modified for straight( front is slammed down). Yoshimura exaust, probably whole system with downpipes and ecu flash gives about 200 hp.
Sleeper bike? more like stock bike...All bikes are faster than cars in the straight, its power to weight ratio. They'll pull on just about everything out there.
Yes, most bikes are faster than most cars. Everyone knows that. However, that bike is NOT stock. And that 8 second car would pull on most bikes from a roll. It would destroy most bikes in a standing quarter!
If your body is fit enough and you know how to body position a bike w/ self control then you can ride. I rode and was immediately hooked. I just wanted the license to make my license look better but after MSF I had to get a bike. Almost died a few times and did crash.. but you have to crash to learn but luckily it has to be small and recoverable like it never happened but it must happen otherwise don't ride.
Good to see that the rider as done everything he could to ensure is safety just in case he falls, i'm sure that t-shirt will keep in safe, and avoid losing skin, and other things while he eventually slides through the tarmac!!
Everyone that keeps talking about power to weight ratio needs to consider that only helps the bike until about 130-140(100-110 for 600's). After that you need to consider power to aerodynamic drag... which is why the bikes always pull on cars at the start, but the high horsepower cars will catch them on the top end. General rule of thumb to beat a bike with a decent rider is 1 hp per cc of bike displacement. You can also help swing things in you favor by either starting from a dig(if you have AWD or can somehow put you power down through RWD) or by simply starting a roll race from from 70-90+ depending on the bike.
GD sick ass editing, people really do not understand the amount of time it takes to make these types of videos. You guys do some fancy shit, hat tip to you TRC!
Everyone saying this guy needs to "leather up" aren't realizing that at the speed he's going I doubt road rash would be his biggest concern. He fucks up it's over.
I mean zx10r engines put out A LOT more power then even a 2018 cbr. While kawis make around 190 to the wheel cbr are putting around 155-160 to the wheel. That’s huge in terms of bikes
People are freaking out about 1/4 mile times saying that bike isn't stock. The rider is 130lbs. And bikes don't shine in the quarter. They have to keep the front down. From a roll like this he can keep the front down and pin it all the way to 180+. Cars runner 1/4 times like that are geared for it. This bike can do a 9sec 1/4 and still do 180+ all day long. He's also about 60lbs lighter than most riders. Power to weight
Guys, think this out logically! Thats a fucking 8 second (EIGHT second 1/4 mile!!!) car vs. a bike.. and the bike is pulling on him! It makes it look like the bike will be in the low 8 second's range in the 1/4, thats obsurd for a "street" bike! Im sure the bike has all the major NA mods and probably an air shifter.
Fir those criticizing the title of "sleeper," I think the title fits. 1000cc bikes run 9 sec quarter miles with a decent rider. For him to pull that hard on an 8 sec car is amazing, and qualifies as a sleeper, even if its already fast as fuck to begin with
WTF is a sleeper CBR1000??? Anyone who rides a bike knows the mod list of just about every sport bike out there. Full kit, PC and MAYBE a blue print and a hidden NOS tops.. But that's pushing it. That's like calling a ZR1 a sleeper.. Maybe if this thing was dressed like a scooter that would be a sleeper bike. But this is just a normal every day Sport Liter bike with a couple mods that blows away a cager thats running out of its league.
thats what a sleeper is. a stock factory look with many mods hidden inside. like the mercedes AMG touring estate or bmw M3 thats a sleeper out of the factory. its basically leaving the outlook stock as possible but no a mclaren, bugatti, porche, lambo are not sleeper.. but im not sure if a liter sportbike is a sleeper. its build to race by the factory
Definatley not knocking him, one of the few I've ever seen doing clutchless shifting which is how it should be done. Props to the guy for riding like he stole it
This car may run 8s on the track minus 200lbs rider, on the street this car with rider get high 10s low 11s running against a bike that has a 130lbs rider a got rider at that. This bike on the street pulling 10s or high 9s.
I saw another video of the same car running against other bikes and I believe on a better road, It was pulling away from these bikes with heaver riders. The car was getting better traction. Thanks for you comments.
running 8s that means on roll ons it should be beating a bike that stock runs 10s plus we all know bikes launch faster due to inertia and having very little weight so im guessing its got head work perfromance cams bigger injectors and maybe nos
lukethekanefan From a dig. this race was from a roll, huge difference. i have this same bike pretty much stock except for two brothers exhaust and power commander, i beat 900+ hp cars all the time..got beaten by a 1200+ hp supra once. I have a buddy with the same bike as mine except he's got a turbo on it and a 2.5ft custom titanium swing arm 402hp to the wheel..he raped the supra..badly. From a roll cars have no chance. A moded 1200hp supra vs a pretty much stock 1000 yes, but moded car vs moded bike? no chance, Ive seen it time and time again. From a dig its a different story, with my bike I'm fighting all through first gear to keep the front end down, I can't give it full throttle till 2nd gear(95+mph). I would've bet on the supra in an 1/8 mile from a dig, 1/4 mile prob a close call, 1/2 mile or 45+mph roll = fucked up supra. Still..bad ass supra I must say.
take that bike to a street track like moto gp and it will be in its element, smoke any car all day, that is if the rider can ride, of course having a high hp car will pull on any bike, i guess it boils down to what you like drag racing or circuit racing, for me growing up racing on a GP level track is what the bike is intended to do, but racing is racing and i am a fan of any sport....except NASCAR sorry to all the fans
Drew Jenkins Depends on the environment, on a tight twisty ,mud trail with steep inclines and declines bike will beat any car or truck Around a given, circuit also will fit where cars and trucks don't.
With the stretched swingarm and lowered that bike would be horrible on the track. It's built to be fast in a straight line. And sorry to burst your bubble but cars always put down faster laps due to their higher levels of grip and therefore higher corner speeds. Class for class i'm talking. Example at my local track, the fastest national superbikes are lapping 1.04, any number of car classes are faster with open wheelers and osca class under 1 minute. GT club cars are around 1.09, comparative fast club bikes are 1.14 ish. Check lap times at every track, same story.
would be pointless unless you're going for a land speed record on the salt flats or something, because you have all that power going to 1 tire, you can't possibly get enough traction to take advantage of the power
You wouldn't be able to use all that hp even in a straight line....if it's even possible to control a 900hp bike hitting top speeds. The new Kawasaki ninja H2R has something like around 300hp and I've read that it goes over 210mph. Wonder how fast a 900hp bike would go....
I bet I can name half the mods that cbr has, starting with a 4-6" stretch, quickshifter, yoshi full exhaust, tuned ecu, yoshi cams, race cylinder heads (head porting) power commander injectors. that kinda thing.
TparXx and I can pretty much guarantee you this bike probably has a filter, exh, pc, and a gear change....my r1 with just the basics (above mods) ran high fives at 125 in the 1/8th..above gpsd at 189...this bike isn't anything out of the ordinary, just the guy riding it isn't a pussy...I had the opportunity to roll race 2 cars at the 1kwhp lvl, and I paddled that ass...
600ccm bikes = 600+hp car liter bikes = 800+hp car modified liter bikes = 1000+hp car But at the end of the day a fast car is just so much more impressive and way more useful especially if you manage to build a fast daily driver. Spending a lot of time on the road I´m always glad to have my air conditioning, comfortable seats, cd player, cup holders, the option to talk to my passengers etc. Bikes are simply just good for racing and saving money but you can´t do anything else with those pocketrockets which is why they get kind of boring over time imo. Performance cars on the other hand are so much more than that. They all differ in design, sound, strength (acceleration, top speed, handling) whereas bikes all look, sound and simply "feel" somewhat the same and that´s coming from a former ZX6r rider.
They found the smallest human on earth to make that cbr fast. I've ran plenty of those cbrs and it would take a ton of work to make one REALLY fast, that rider is what made the difference on this one. Either way great video.
Damn yall some haters lemme tell yall something J ROD R1's arent supposed to knock a bone out of shit either but it is being done at the rate of 203 mph stock motor size a cbr has done the 9/10 stock at 186 remember garth got beat by a zx14 stock doing 191 i'd say that cbr has potential a good tune will fuck up a lot of people one civic's is a good example
MrAssholebynature1 All imma say is look at madkaws vids and see how civic gets the take off every time. And to say this with sis and ole boy when they took off at the same time you see him jump off first and of course weight gets him but not before he gets the slight edge (torque)
no frickin way hes the FASTEST in the Southeast,,... That's a lie.. Come to TN.. we got some fast boys on ZX10r and bmw s1000rr and this one guy who has a gsxr 1000 that's insanely fast.
That bike has a built motor with a nitrous bottle under the seat. Watch that slow motion shot. The rider pushes the button with his left hand and hold on for dear life. Sick!!!
Fast bike, but I love when a fast built car beats a bike because it's a testament to all the work that went into the build. It's not that hard to make a bike fast, shops do it day in and day out, but to fabricate, build and tune an entire car like the 2R Lambos is something else because the entire car has been reworked from engine to suspension/brakes.
It's a huge deal to us ( riders ) who build our bikes to be able to compete with the 900hp+ class of cars also because top end runs are a real fight between cars and bikes. Trust me, when i filmed my boy beating a twin turbo lambo it was a big deal to us and a damn good 5 or so runs they did.
nicetry64 you have no idea what you're talking about. This car. For being what it is one of the most awesome builds I've ever seen. To hey that kind of power out of a stock motor is BadAss. And I personally have seen well built cars smash some bikes right here on THE UTUBES.

FINALLY!!! All the other videos like this are of highly modified cars vs 600cc stock bikes with amateur riders. This was on an even playing field and the bike smokes the car. Its a simple concept that the bike would be faster.
A stock CBR1000RR will be about 1000hp/tonne. Unless that 240 has been stripped to the bone I'd wager the bike beats it solidly power/weight, which is what's shown here in a rolling start. Quarter mile is different yes, putting all that power down on the rear wheel tiny contact patch of a bike is tricky, along with keeping the front wheel down, that's why drag bikes have lengthened swing arms. Love bikes, love cars, great video.
Sleeper bike? No such thing exists. You see them and expect them to be fast

It's sleeper because it's probably twice as fast as a stock 1000 bike.
Finally someone fully tucks down on a street bike. Thumbs up!! And sweet car and bike. TRC has all the cool videos.
When the fuck ever has any liter bike been classified as a sleeper?
Didn't know that a liter bike that runs high tens on the quarter mile stock was considered a sleeper
but think about it the car runs 8's in the quarter, not saying the bike is slow but they were expecting to destroy the bike

Jethro Rose exactly, stock cars tho, but dont listen to me i dont know alot about racing
A track vs city roads... at his weight it's going to be stupid hard to put down power.
Yep stock the 08-11 can do high 9s. It is very hard to get a street legal car into the 8s but not hard to get a street legal bike in to the 8s.
The sleeper honda is probably just a stock bike with an exhaust and a tune.

finally looks like we got someone that knows how to ride a motorcycle out here.
this video never gets old to me... Ahhhh time to get my cbr on this level
Now this is what I'm taking about! Fast cars and fast bikes, plz more vids like this!!!

Yeap, used to smoke everyone at the lights on my GPX250 (EX250)
Just the fact that that car can compete with that bike makes the car insanely fast as well

I wouldn't ride like that without leathers myself. Road rash would be an understatement at that speed.
Great run....but just fyi asphalt tends to win against skin every time. Leather up theres no reason not to.
Great vid
At those speeds I seriously doubt any protective gear would help him.
TheCobruhAlienat0r
I have hit asphalt and skidded iff in a run off full of rocks at a 150+ on a track in AZ where I live. Not even a scratch...it works.
*****
Inhave rode many of thousands of miles in AZ over thebyears with no issues. Learn to be very vigilant and be an offensive driver instead of a defensive driver. Make sure you wear your gear and have fun.
Good luck
Sweet video. No mess ups or miss shifts. Just straight to the point
PunchingMegaTree Who cares? The point is the video was straight forward
hahaha CBR1000 engine mods: Muffler ;)
Dont know what i like more the car or the bike!!! Both are insane!!!!
Great Video!!!
the car was "hell not again, I lost already!!" @ 1:35
FIrst in.. You guys are putting in some work with that pretty 240!
Any bike will pull on any car...
Thank you. This is literally the most ignorant thing ive heard all day
Kevin Monahan
haha I just imagined an accord racing a Harley. He did say any bike will pull on any car.
Unless you have an F1 car, then that statement doesnt exist lol
so you're saying my big wheel has a chance?
Most ridiculous yet most common statement ever.
That bike flat out hauls big respect
you knw that bike is built I have never seen a stock 1000 pull that hard up top
Shhiittt my k6 does
This car has chosen the wrong bike to mess with
Riding with no leathers at those speeds?! And yeah, I know it's Florida..grew up there.
You ain't got 2 b smart 2 b fast (in a straight line).
Also, not sure if I'm making it out correctly in your picture, but is your number 58?
Lot of people not giving respect to that bike, have you watched any of the other videos of that 240 running? That car is no freakin joke, it's insane fast. Personally I give mad props to that bike, it didn't just pull on it, it ran away and hid. I'm sorry that's impressive shit, only because he was able to do it against that particular car.
yup reason why i love bikes
God Damn that is a beautiful bike. God bless Honda and their bulletproof bikes.
that's a cute car you have there mate
Thanks! That's what we were going for!
0:53 this bike is modified for straight( front is slammed down). Yoshimura exaust, probably whole system with downpipes and ecu flash gives about 200 hp.
Built bikes on nitrous, still surprise me when they pull on cars close to 1000hp. I've seen it many times
I pulled on 1kwhp on my 07 r1 that had factory internals and no spray
The guy on honda is really lightweight.
helps a lot.
Too much credit given to the rider.
Nice runs! I like this video. Shows what the Nissan could do.
God I love *Fast Shit*!! Nice 1, ThatRacingChannel !
That is the first time I've seen a rider get that low on a bike....that's skill and smarts.
Sleeper bike? more like stock bike...All bikes are faster than cars in the straight, its power to weight ratio. They'll pull on just about everything out there.
All bikes are faster than cars?
Havent you seen the mr2 k20 turbo that was battling with a modded 1000rr?
Read my words more carefully. .."just about" means mostly, not everything
Read my words more carefully. .."just about" means mostly, not everything
I would take the 1000 sticker off and put 600RR
Civilized Delinquent same here 😂
Cool video!!! Love how a lot people have to make stupid comments out of jealously and just can’t enjoy the video
Exhaust power commander that's all the bikes had
Skilled rider? ha-ha..... Straight line races T.T
Agreed lol
you haven't seen him on the track so you cant say that yet you only saw him doing a drag race not on the track(just saying)
just dont hate no point in it. its a dick thing to do
if he was a skilled track rider he would have proper gear
Skilled and smart are two different categories^^^
Bad ass bike even badder rider. It takes skill to ride a FAST bike and make it work like that.(and BIG balls)
ThatRacingChannel We need to see this CBR vs the guy that has the blue S1000rr......or is this the same rider?
Same rider! Good eye
@ThatRacingChannel Lol did he trade it in for the honda???
Ah damn! That guy is a weapon on a bike. No doubt very fast.
foxxrider250r the Honda is not his bike, it blongs to his friend, and yeah he Is a heck of a rider!
Ah i see, would love to hear what he thinks about the two compared to each other!
Thats an awsome CBR man that bike is a sleeper to those who understand bikes.
Squid.
GD sick ass editing, people really do not understand the amount of time it takes to make these types of videos. You guys do some fancy shit, hat tip to you TRC!
This is exactly what happens when you put a modded bike against a modded car.
The cbr would still win stock lmao
that moment where u know EXACTLY where this was filmed and drive by there every day
Nissan runs 8s but this bike will run 7s maybe even a 6 dressed like a squid...
Lol that bike isn't running a 7! Low 9's on a good day.
I dont think so
Keep dreaming
Everyone saying this guy needs to "leather up" aren't realizing that at the speed he's going I doubt road rash would be his biggest concern.
He fucks up it's over.
ZX10 engine swap on that blade? lol
lol Kawa fan boy
You’re so stupid it hurts. Engine swapping near identical engine lay outs
Wkwkw u so fucking stupid
I mean zx10r engines put out A LOT more power then even a 2018 cbr. While kawis make around 190 to the wheel cbr are putting around 155-160 to the wheel. That’s huge in terms of bikes
ZX10R Ant which litre class cbr makes 155? I dont think you got your numbers right.
Im sure the bike has all the major NA mods and probably an air shifter.
from a roll it is, Now if they launched from a dig then the car would destroy that bike as those drag radials will grab in go way before the bike can.
no air shifter you can see his shifting with his foot
+akupehsluarketatAR i very much doubt that bike has anything more than a power commander and a slip on
CK_32 nah it’s probably got a 1mm bore and slight head work. Just that alone will throw it from 160bhp too 200bhp
Definatley not knocking him, one of the few I've ever seen doing clutchless shifting which is how it should be done. Props to the guy for riding like he stole it
I need more footage of cbrrrr. !!!!
Fast bike! thanks for the upload....oh wait [Insert bike vs car comment]
No leather, no respect!
JustAnotherHobbyMechanic fuck your leathers and fuck your respect.
How can you say something like this. You have no idea how dangerous is riding without proper gear ;)
And fuck your skin grafts.
forget the leathers brah! road rash scars last forever....lol
All his men wear english leather or they wear nothing at all.
That bike has got some serious power to run away from a near 160mph car. Light rider or not that thing fucking moves.
im saying concealed nos or supercharger pulling on a car running 8s is impressive
Edward Henry
Not pulling on a car that runs 158mph traps. This bike definitely isn't stock.
Thumbs UP!!
Bike 'Looks, Bike Goes'..And so on and so forth..
No if's No Buts!!!!
take that bike to a street track like moto gp and it will be in its element, smoke any car all day, that is if the rider can ride, of course having a high hp car will pull on any bike, i guess it boils down to what you like drag racing or circuit racing, for me growing up racing on a GP level track is what the bike is intended to do, but racing is racing and i am a fan of any sport....except NASCAR sorry to all the fans
Nope bike don't handle as well as cars. True story
DAMN!!!!! Nice runs!!!!
I wonder what a 900hp bike would be like...
would be pointless unless you're going for a land speed record on the salt flats or something, because you have all that power going to 1 tire, you can't possibly get enough traction to take advantage of the power
You wouldn't be able to use all that hp even in a straight line....if it's even possible to control a 900hp bike hitting top speeds. The new Kawasaki ninja H2R has something like around 300hp and I've read that it goes over 210mph. Wonder how fast a 900hp bike would go....
Travis M. 630 mph duh.
Uncontrollable
***** lets call up germany and see what they can do
Damn that bike moves out!!! Rider's got a pair for sure!
I bet I can name half the mods that cbr has, starting with a 4-6" stretch, quickshifter, yoshi full exhaust, tuned ecu, yoshi cams, race cylinder heads (head porting) power commander injectors. that kinda thing.
Dont think its stretched. But it's definitely strapped and lowered.
I can pretty much guarantee the only mod on that bike was the yosh exhuast.
strapped yes, stretched.... no.
600ccm bikes = 600+hp car
liter bikes = 800+hp car
modified liter bikes = 1000+hp car
But at the end of the day a fast car is just so much more impressive and way more useful especially if you manage to build a fast daily driver.
They all differ in design, sound, strength (acceleration, top speed, handling) whereas bikes all look, sound and simply "feel" somewhat the same and that´s coming from a former ZX6r rider.
what ever you say.
Then along comes a Supra
vaw power Not a 2JZ GTE
vaw power Not really
Benjamin Agaoglu yes really!
NEW ZEALAND TRAILRIDING Nope.
vaw power Another troll I see.
I want more of this bike, where can I find more content?
fastest cbr1000rr in the southeast? ... let's put that to the test... come to the track and race mine
Nice vid guys. Weird though seeing a bike beat a car on this channel lol.
They found the smallest human on earth to make that cbr fast. I've ran plenty of those cbrs and it would take a ton of work to make one REALLY fast, that rider is what made the difference on this one.
Either way great video.
I think my 14 year older daughter weights more than him and she don't have an ounce of fat on her anywhere lol
mustangdame thank you no cbr is fast lol
Damn yall some haters lemme tell yall something J ROD R1's arent supposed to knock a bone out of shit either but it is being done at the rate of 203 mph stock motor size a cbr has done the 9/10 stock at 186 remember garth got beat by a zx14 stock doing 191 i'd say that cbr has potential a good tune will fuck up a lot of people one civic's is a good example
Nope
MrAssholebynature1 All imma say is look at madkaws vids and see how civic gets the take off every time. And to say this with sis and ole boy when they took off at the same time you see him jump off first and of course weight gets him but not before he gets the slight edge (torque)
Cbr1000 is like the Ferrari of all bikes
no frickin way hes the FASTEST in the Southeast,,... That's a lie.. Come to TN.. we got some fast boys on ZX10r and bmw s1000rr and this one guy who has a gsxr 1000 that's insanely fast.
Money talks. :-)
Fastest CBR. the fastest bike is a BMW with a hundred shot on a built motor. But my boy coming up soon he will be headhunting
would like to see some vid's if you have them...ride on.
rub one out calm down!!
Hang on...let me go call my girlfriends uncles cousins..then hes gonna call his sisters kid..i'll bet he'll beat your shit!
the suspension is strapped, you can tell because the fork is completely compressed. that's whats keeping the front wheel down.
That CBR is gorgeous
Clutch slip at 1:36.. Doesn't matter, weight to HP falls to the bike in this equation. Every run, all day...
That bike has a built motor with a nitrous bottle under the seat. Watch that slow motion shot. The rider pushes the button with his left hand and hold on for dear life. Sick!!!
Finally some one who knows what there doing on a bike :-)
That dude can ride.... nice video.
dudes who ride bikes like this have some serious balls.
Craig Cundiff From a dig. this race was from a roll, huge difference. i have this same bike pretty much stock except for two brothers exhaust and power commander, i beat 900+ hp cars all the time..got beaten by a 1200+ hp supra once. Still..bad ass supra I must say.
FINALLY!!! All the other videos like this are of highly modified cars vs 600cc stock bikes with amateur riders. This was on an even playing field and the bike smokes the car. Its a simple concept that the bike would be faster.
Tell me how a CBR 1000RR FIREBLADE is a 'Sleeper'????
Pabla Digital because it’s the slowest 1000 out of all 1ks
you could say skilled i say squid
hi :)
Go fuck your self I all ready deleted my fb and IG go the fuck from me before ii report you
HI
See the way he keeps the front wheel 2" off the ground? That ain't no squid, that right there is a grand master throttle octopus
That is the bikes wheelie control p.s. squid=no gear
the slow mo on the shift was awesome!
