My very favorite "I have nothing left in the tank" easy meal is a riff on tuna casserole. It is just a box of mac n cheese, peas and tuna. make mac n cheese, mix in tuna, peas and sauce...little more heat..and eat.
Ive made several versions of chili dog pie over the years. I like to dice the hotdogs and fry them in a cast iron skillet before adding the chili to the pan and heating them together. add cheese and then the cornbread mix which I like to make with cheese and jalapeno (for the granbrats I leave out the jalapenos) another version is to dice the hot dogs and add them to the cornbread with cheese, bake it and then add the heated chili to the top with shredded cheese, onions etc.. I make a divorced version of the last a lot for myself because I can cut a chunk of cornbread and smother with chili and pop in the nuker. The meatball subs look great but I also like cooking the meatballs in brown gravy with onions or making a stroganoff type sauce and eating in a bun or long roll. My daughter makes the buns into garlic bread and then makes a spaghetti and meat sauce sandwich the granbrats devour
@@spockfromdablock2932 easy peasy.. my brats had kids making them my granbrats ... Neither of my son-in-laws are really thrilled with that designation but then I'm the father-in-law so I need to poke their cage right....
I have made cheesy chicken parmesan using Dollar Tree ingredients before. The only difference is I don't bake mine, but it would probably taste better if I did. Thank you for creating meals that store well for consumption later.
I fix the suddenly salad as directed, then add chopped up ham, tomato, and cucumber. I also add sliced black olives and shredded cheese. So good and a meap
I haven’t used them yet but I imagine you could pair them well with Cuban black beans and Spanish rice! I’ll have to try them. I got one of each flavor today because of your comment :)
I need a cheese shredder and I have a kitchen aide and see yours with the shredder attachment. Do you really like it? I'd like to get one myself. Great video ❤
Vegans avoid all animal products (meat + seafood, dairy, eggs, honey, etc) most vegans also do that with all things in their life not just food. Meanwhile most vegetarians only exclude meat the rest depends on the person. Plant based people are just that they eat more foods that are made from plants usually can be vegan but not always. Hope this helps (:
So glad I found your channel!! I love your ideas to help me feed my family on a tight budget!

Always delicious! Love those Meatball Subs! 😋
Great ideas! Love these. Thank you!
Do you have any recipes using the Jamaican beef patties? I’ve been seeing those pretty frequently at my Dollar Tree.

Do vegetarians eat cheese? I can never keep the various veggie groups apart.
Some cheeses are vegetarian, I recently learned that aged hard cheese like Parmesan is not vegetarian but cheese like cheddar is

Did you buy the plates for a dollar
I can tell you first hand that the marble plates are available at DT, as well as marching bowls.
better shop at aldi. better cleaner ingridients in lots of products and cost is low. not as low as dollar tree but health is in question.
Not everyone has an Aldi in their town.
