    8:58 You are historically wrong here. As you mentioned in your video, Bahrain was occupied by the British. But you didn't mention that when the British occupied Bahrain, Bahrain was a part of Iran as one country. When the British left, they returned some the occupied lands and islands back to Iran. But they also made a lot of promises to local tribe leaders. The Shah of Iran complained to the UN. But at the end, the UN decided that Bahrain should become a new country in exchange for the British giving back the other occupied islands to Iran. (The Abu-Musa island for example)

      It actually means 'two seas' is Arabic... and it does actually rain in Bahrain, just not as it does in, say, UK.

    "it almost never rains in Bahrain" ...except for the 5 days that I was there last November. xD
    A very nice place but you have to drink bottled water. Bahrainis are very friendly and speak English very well. I also found out that Sunday is the beginning of the business week.

    HAHAHAHAHAHA i'm from bahrain and i love the way you explained the whole deal with my country! it's funny though because i'm persian and shia and bahraini so i get the whole confusion thing with iran cause there's a long history but you made it concise and hilarious and more accurate than a few other videos i watched! i loved it. keep up the good work :D

    Some places I went , when I was in Bahrain 🇧🇭. Gudaibiya, manama, andalus garden , Al fateh grand mosque, national museum, Beit Al Quran , Dolphin resort,king fahad causeway ,isa town , ‏and so much to tell. ‏يا أخي! I love Bahrain 🇧🇭❤️. I am from India 🇮🇳. I went to Bahrain when I was 8th grade. Lot of memories within 30 days 😭. I wish I could revisit Bahrain and explore the places which I’ve missed.‏‏ ‏السلام عليكم❤️✌️

    i used to live in bahrain growing up it shaped me to who i am today and i miss it so much and am so grateful for what it is and for the people that make it so great, its sadly underrated but hopefully as it grows it starts getting more love 💖

      +Riswan Ahmad P yes and it is written with Q and not K or C because it is supposed to correspond to another arabic letter which makes sound close to K but the sound comes from more behind and into the neck position .. well.. hard to explain by words.. see for urself

      Amghannam The third one is originally Persian but used very commonly in Bahrain and other Arabic countries. It's a normal ك with a line on it (گ); and no, that's not فتحة. Don't know how to describe it's pronunciation.

      Think cutter, but pronounce replace u and e with a; cattar, and then make k-sound harder; Qatar!

      David Harrison That was actually something I originally put in the video but had to cut it out because it was taking up too much time, the building is the Bahrain world trade center and was the first building to have such a feature. The turbines are estimated to save the building up to 15% of their annual energy costs
