Just getting started, looking at 60 ft or so. I like the beach club on some boats. Having crew quarters for staff or teenagers looks cool. And all the toys. Is 10% a year a good budget for running costs?
Hi Brent, that is a tough number to crunch as the price can vary so wildly from new to used. What kind of a budget are you comfortable with? I would suggest you find a buyer’s agent you would like to work with like in real estate. You will get the best outcome by setting up a relationship with an experience yachtsman... person. I'm a total novice, probably like lots of people when they start to get inspired to buy a boat. Not sure on the price range yet, most likely around 700k maybe a mil... really depends on how excited we get. How confident I become with or without crew... one video had a boatshare, that was interesting.

@@waynelast1685 ya that’s Aquaholic, in the past he was giving base boat price with smallest engines and 0 options, no freight, duty… I have heard he has since changed his posting. Add $1M in options on those and you’re pretty close. Princess still makes the best production boat in the world no matter how you option her…

Are they not putting tender garages on these anymore?
Sports cruisers tend to have tender garages, but flybridge yachts such as this one tend not to have them. Basically you sacrifice the tender garage for the flybridge.

The flybridge have Crew Quarters where a garage would be. S & V models have engines even farther forward for improved performance making room for tender garage. As you get larger you get both. Check out the new Princess V55. That is the boat setting the bar for every yacht manufacturer
