There is this shy girl that I have two classes with. The first one she looks over briefly then does it again and in the second class she sits behind me. I decided to talk to her to come off as friendly and she is very shy, so it’s hard to tell for me.
It probably means that you don’t have much competition. She probably unwillingly pushes guys away.
I recommend that you try to ask her questions that require an emotional response ( Example: what was her happy place as a kid and why) or try to trigger her imagination ( example: if you could experience the place of your dreams who would you take. ( say and can I come too) to get her to imagine you there)

I have been paying attention to body language, besides the staring when she doesn’t think I am looking, she blushes often, and fixes her hair sometimes when I am around etc.

I admitted to my coworker back in January that I have feelings for her but she told me that she wasn't interested in having a boyfriend at the time. It's now April and she's been giving me mixed signals lately by greeting me every time she sees me (hey whenever I clock in for work and bye whenever I leave work), laughing at every time I make a joke whether it's a funny joke or corny/lame joke, offering to help me out around the store, playfully poking me in my arm, and offering to wear my hat (which she looked really cute wearing).
