To clarify, when you get a few more levels it's easy to spent all the Minerals. All of the unique abilities of Nova cost Minerals to use. It's really cool.
You should join me in testing her out. I will not be playing her but I do have a good leveled up Swann and a good Artanis as well. I find Artanis works well with Nova since they both are based around keeping their units alive for as long as possible. Edit02: I am unsure if I can play with people who have bought commanders where as I have not. But if possible, I would love to play with you once I get me Artanis up higher. I have level 25 mastery and I mostly go for a defensive play with him. Try to not need to continue building units all the time. I do tend to supplement my army with cannons as I move out.
By the way, you gonna love the Announcer Packs from Abathur, Alarak, Artanis, Kerrigan, Raynor, and Swann. Nova is still a great coop commander to begin with. Nicely done, Lowko.

Having a teammate that is playing with a mastery leveled Rayor would be a good way to keep you units alive using their medics so you don't really lose your infantry units.
Nova gets pretty powerful in the later levels. You're going to have a small but fully upgraded army. The tanks ability to deploy spider mines is insane.

A bit late to the party but in the beginning of Hots campaign Nova said to Jim '' if you helped me with my tosh problem i might have looked the other way'' and when Kerrigan was talking to Matt Horner about rescuing jim he said he would deploy tosh to bust him out but Kerrigan refused.
Both would be realy cool. Dehaka with prime-zerg units. And Stukov with infestet terran stuff. :D But Question: When he hast all terran buildings just with infestion on them. Is he a terran or zerg comander them? xD
At first I wasn't absolutely sure about playing as Nova, but after unlocking more of her progression, she's pretty fun to play. Something new for a change than usual deathball armies!
best combo. jim comes in to heal the hella out of units, and uses an army that literally rebuilds itself every 5 seconds to soften up enemy lines and eat damage while nova micro's all the way to victory
You know Lowko you should do a lets play of Starcraft: Mass Recall, which is a complete remake of Starcraft & Broodwar in the SC2 engine with custom units and even custom model's, maps and cut scenes. Especially since you seem to have forgotten a lot of the old Starcraft stuff. Still as always, a very informative and entertaining vid.

I think the next commander would be either Alexei Stukov or Niadra. For the Terrans, it coud be Valerian Mengsk, considering that I still haven't seen Warhounds, Predators, and Diamondbacks in action. For the protoss, well it is tough since all of the protoss commanders are already in the coop, so my guess would be Selendis? or maybe Alarak would be the last. We never know.
FYI, if you want to check damage, may I suggest you mouse over the weapon icon for that single unit when it's selected? It'll tell you in straight up numbers :)
that's... a bit difficult to play with all the calldowns costing minerals (not something i'm used to) but i can use her to up my micro i guess :D oh and Lowko, you can use her cloaked drones to soften up defenses before charging in.
I guess playing with Kerrigan when you have a higher commander level is ok she can gave some extra resources to you I usually short of gas but way too many minerals from mid game and spent it on airstrike to level the whole enemy army. Her explosive drone really come to handy in attack mission when you get visor upgrade you can send it to do some damage to enemy outpost without risking you unit or nova this thing deals 200 dam +200 vs building too pretty much clear out defensive building in 1 hit.
That is exactly the play style i like, but i feel like a bit more mobility would be awsome with that small and powerful army you can pick off stuff really quick. I think that is my favourite hero so far 😃
I would've preferred tosh as the stealth commander but I knew they would go for nova, if even to advertise covert ops a bit more. I can't remember off the top of my head but after getting Raynor to 15 I was quite annoyed at how bad he was compared to other commanders, and how Nova got 1 or 2 units that would've made Raynor so much better (not that they've ever changed the units a commander can use as far as I know). That and she has flat-upgrades of a lot of Raynor's stuff, kinda makes him feel redundant.
someone who volunteers should attempt to do a jim air/mech build, there is so much hidden in vultures that people don't use, i'd like to see a build involving a BC spam with splash vikings and a group of reinforcing mechs (vultures defend STs which splash the hell out of enemies while the air army goes in)

They scrapped automated refineries? I saw Nathanias played Nova a few days ago at Blizz and had automated refineries because of the 100 supply cap. Kinda shit to have 100 supply cap and still 2 max bases.

There are some units that I still want to be brought into the co-op. I imagine the co-op being how the "true unit" is and not limited by the multiplayer balance...Diamondbacks, Reapers, Widow Mines, Predators and Valkyries for Terran; Infestor, Jumping Banelings, Obnoxious Ultralisks, Paralyzing Roachs, Defiler and Impaler for Zerg and Arbiter, Scout, Sentry, Adept and Disruptor for Protoss. To balance the numbers it would be needed 1 more Protoss Commander, 2 more Zerg and Terran Commanders.
The Blizzard tease video about this commander was a bit underwhelming to say the least, but this video changed my mind. So shut up and take my money Blizzard!
Cause they will already have the same stats, just multiplied. They all play the same role as they are the same units. Pretty sure Loko is Diamond so i think he has a pretty good grasp on the basic game mechanics of what beats what.

Lowko what are your thought about the new commercial system of Starcraft with that bunch of DLC? I think that Blizzard is abusing with it. Personnaly, for the commanders and the Nova pack mission I can understand but for the skins and the voices? Come on Blizzard! Moreover, the voices doesn't come in pack! You have to buy them individually at the same price of a commander each and if you want to buy everything it becomes the same price as buying a new game (if you want to buu all the commanders, skins and voices). Also, I think it's bullshit that those who bought the Nova pack mission doesn't get her as commander. Got her to level 11 right now. Power creep is pretty big with Nova as every upgrade you get feels like an upgrade.

Nova is definitely one of the best commanders in the game. She's very good all-round.

Her units are inmune to stun? That will be incredibly OP in a lot of mutators.
i'm sure mutators effects don't count as regular stuns, so their effects are used on every non-heroic unit

how is it possible that you're not curious about units stats at all? like attack and armor... you just play the game "blind"? lol
Cause they will already have the same stats, just multiplied. They all play the same role as they are the same units. Pretty sure Loko is Diamond so i think he has a pretty good grasp on the basic game mechanics of what beats what.

im kinda pissed they giv eus Nova... but Matt is NOT a commander, well Nova is really awesome in gameplay though but i dont like her personally, so im not gonna buy NOva, id love to have her on my team though and happy her units functions like the mercenaries from WoL (one of my favorite gameplay aspects of the campaign)

Lowko what are your thought about the new commercial system of Starcraft with that bunch of DLC? I think that Blizzard is abusing with it. Personnaly, for the commanders and the Nova pack mission I can understand but for the skins and the voices? Come on Blizzard! Moreover, the voices doesn't come in pack! You have to buy them individually at the same price of a commander each and if you want to buy everything it becomes the same price as buying a new game (if you want to buu all the commanders, skins and voices). Also, I think it's bullshit that those who bought the Nova pack mission doesn't get her as commander. I'm really disappointed at Blizzard; Starcraft 2 is one of my favorite game and I don't want them to turn it into an Electronic Arts game where they release dozen of DLC, where they sell a game with dozen of spare parts. What are your thought about it?
