Also it was not a relationship considering the treatment although it should have been for the man that brought the city 11 championships. They probably say it's complicated because the majority of Bostonians aren't racist and You don't want to paint an entire group of people with such a broad brush....I mean racists tend to that among other things. Saying complicated is just a way of acknowledging Not all of em' or Celtics fans were/are racist, He was beloved to the majority of the fanbase and the City, Saying that doesn't give a pass to the racist ones or erase what they did.
