The one tornado that hit Trafford/North Versailles area in Pittsburgh was an EF1, it skirted our house, hit two streets up from us and went past my work. That was really scary. Power was out for 21hrs.

I'm 45mi east of Pittsburgh on Rt 22. 8:32pm we had a power flash and the wind started quickly followed by rain that was quite literally horizontal and the house across the street that usually we could watch one another's televisions if we would choose - couldn't see the house at all. Daddy has been through his fair share of tornadoes living in Louisiana, Illinois, and Texas, but he didn't argue when I sent him, Mama and my dog to the dining room. 10 minutes later we just had some decent rain and the fire department started getting calls. If you choose to plot it out, the places I heard called out for everything from trees down, lines down, something about a natural gas well - look out around from Rt 22 right at the Westmoreland county/Indiana County line - Tunnelton to New Florence

I was dead center of the Dunkard warn path. Thank God the rotation didn't drop. Almost no wind with that storm.
North NJ was expecting a severe thunderstorm.We got some rain,not much but did have constant rolling thunder with non stop lightning.
Dauphin county was windy power went out for many hours many trees down

I live just to the northeast of Pittsburgh, around Apollo and Vandergrift. We would get maybe 1 tornado a year if lucky. In THIS year alone starting in april, there have been at least TEN. I have a bad feeling about this storm season.
Did it touch down ? Any damage?

â@@pallmall5495 exactly. I find out from a couple of these generous, independent weatherman that are so appreciated. We had a 10% chance in NJ a couple days ago.dropped to 5 then 2.I check accuweather and nws real fast every morning. They don't mention it until after you ended up in another state taken away by the tornado. These TH-cam guys should be the mainstream weather men. They do it out of love, not for money and are actually accurate unlike those clueless uppity mainstream weather people.
Definitely not for the Johnstown stuff around 1:15, I was direct path and it turned into rain, made a bigger comment above about it. I have family closer to Pittsburgh that have seen some downed trees and things, it looks like towards Pittsburgh there were ones, hence the debris fields.

Thanks for the tornado coverage! Tonight was a real roller coaster for both myself and my wife; we were in the direct path of rotation you were coving at 1:15, I live in Mundy's Corner that you mentioned. The live cam you had up on route 22 is only about 15 minutes from our house. My wife's friend lives in Seward. I'm happy (and relieved) to say the storms ended up being just a whole lot of rain with some mild thunderstorms, I did get some footage of it. I almost made a drive to my workplace today in Pittsburgh, too, which would have put me smack dab on 22 in the middle of these tornadoes headed home around 7 to 8PM. I also sometimes drive on that road in New Alexandria to see my dad where you mentioned there was a tornado.
I'm an absolute tornado nerd, and watch a lot of livestreams and chasers on YT. Tonight was the first I came across your channel. I about freaked when I first opened your stream and saw you talking about the rotation near Delmont, I'm like wait, our Delmont on 22, not somewhere in Kansas?! (my wife and I had our first date in that area) It was kind of crazy and surreal watching a livestream and being on the potential receiving end of tornados. My wife and I had to make decisions on where we were gonna go in the house to take shelter, and what to do with the cats. On Tornado History, I think the biggest this are had was an F3 about 50~ years ago or so, the last couple summers, tornados touched down near the Vintondale~ area.
Thanks again for the livestream, subscribed! I wouldn't have known about this (and to warn family) had I not been a tornado nerd and got suggestions on YT. It shows that our weather warning systems have a ways to go. We had absolutely NO notices or warnings on our phones about these tornados, it was just calling for rain, I kept refreshing it. I think when there's radar-indicated rotation and the strong possibility of tornados touching down within only 12 miles of your house, you should be getting warnings blowing up your phone. I don't think my wife's friend even got a notice, who was in Seward. At the very least, we should have gotten a tornado watch notice as soon as they were in Delmont, but nothing.
Hi Max, Iâm a pretty new subscriber, but I was in Pennsylvania a at one of my friends house when this happened but I came back home and there was a tornado warning and I was scared to death but nothing actually happened just some wind and rain but I hope no more tornadoes come. I know this is like two weeks after this happened, but Iâm still shocking.
We just had z tornado WARNING that came over Lincoln, and Cumberland RI as well as Attleboro MA. No confirmation on ground but a lot of damage as it moved east.
