    On my 50 cc, I had to remove the muffler and deflate the tire to get the tire to come off. I have a 50 cc TaoTao.But this video told me well. Very clear and thorough.

    Very detailed and helpful video...mille grazie. A couple of comments: you should take the opportunity to repack the rear wheel bearings since you already have the wheel off; you should replace the rear wheel nut and torque it to specification with a torque wrench; and, the o-ring you refer to is actually a retaining clip.

    i would just take the muffler off. this is way to much trouble trying to get the wheel in there without breaking the muffler. most new people will mess up.

    i have a chrome muffler and pipe i total remove the muffler cause there easy to break. best advice. if you get grease on the break pads clean with break cleaner and use a fine sand paper and you'll be good.

    • @VirberelloScooterTips
      @VirberelloScooterTips  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello John I love the icebear Maddog unfortunately I'm not to familiar with your scooter but I see that your tires has 4 bolts and will be easier if you have a impact wrench and there is a possibility that you need to remove the exhaust system to have a little more room to remove the tire out. Thank you for watching my video

    I know this is 5 years old and someone may have already said this, but deflating the tire some should help with removing the wheel without removing the exhaust.

      @@VirberelloScooterTips also, if your exhaust gasket is likely old and crusty and you do not have one on hand, your method may save another trip to the scooter shop for parts. My greatest concern would be the weight of the exhaust hanging from the case bolts.

  • @josepeixoto3384
    @josepeixoto3384 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    That's not the way !!
    You *must* remove the muffler/exhaust pipe as a whole: only 2 nuts at the engine;
    Thanks for your videos, we can see everything.

    hey, just one question.. is that ok to run about 80km everyday with a chinnise scooter? 40km to work and 40km to home? I have not had a problem with it in 6250km now... Its a Serpento Hydra 150cc... Thanks!

    • @VirberelloScooterTips
      @VirberelloScooterTips  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dennisnavarrete2675 any updates 5 years on? The only thing I'd add is learning to install a new cylinder kit. If yours has no mods, it's running lean from the factory, lean means It'll run hotter and wear the piston and rings sooner. Long trips accelerate this process.

    how hard is it to remove the muffler it seems like you're struggling for about 5 minutes or more putting on and off

    • @VirberelloScooterTips
      @VirberelloScooterTips  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi my friend not to hard I think 10 minutes but my suggestion to you is not to remove a 10 years old muffler that is rusty and fragile because you can break it and you will need to buy a new one right away ah ah ah thank you for watching my video :-)

    • @MichaelKeethin
      @MichaelKeethin 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      OIC okay well mine was fairly new and I'm learning a lot from you keep up the good work on the video also I like the way you approach things is very down-to-earth like a typical guy would do

      Yes you right 2 screws that strip very easy and they are very fragile and connect on a low quality metal motor on a rasty low quality exhaust system my friend we leave in a free world you can do what you want but if you follow me you will have less problem with these scooters thank you for watching my video

    Great video, but on the rear wheel after you removed the bolt, the next part was not an O-ring, it is called a C-clamp/ snap-ring.
    O-rings are used to provide a seal and are usually made of rubber. Snap-ring are used to lock something in a position and is usually metal.

    • @VirberelloScooterTips
