Nat, definitely carb related...the only change is the air pods....fuel air mixture not right for the cylinder or fuelling problem inside carb( you mentioned floats...no harm looking). If and when you manage to get it to run ,may I suggest that any changes to your beer can restrictions is done by drilling holes in said metal....this will cause a tornado effect due to new holes making them a stronger air flow( probably wrong but that's my thinking lol). Have you considered down jetting ? Hate pods as in my eyes just fashion statements for road bikes.... Good luck and stay safe bud 🤟
I am convincing myself that it is a carb issue. The float overflowed on that side before so I think the float is just not letting fuel in the left carb. I think I will leave the restrictions on the pods for now. They seem to have settled it down somewhat. I have just downjetted from 140 to 132.5. It came with 135. 130 is a lean stock so I don’t think that it needs any less. I think next step it to whip off the carbs and see what is going on. I have a feeling that, I I tuned the drain bolt on the left float bowl, it may be dry.
@@NatsNackersYard ahh sorry bud didn't know about the down jetting...have you tried just tapping the float bowl gently as it may cajole the float to seat/move prior to removing. But like you say you think you've done it too much on the drain bolt. And put some fuel down the carbs upon refit...at least it'll run from the start & hopefully aid the fuel intake quicker. Good luck bud 🤟
A bit of advice on those filters you are using, the flange on the inside of the filter blocks the airways into the carbs, it probably why your having so much trouble with the starting and running
Check compression on the dead cylinder. Check make sure u have a spark if both are ok then it down to carbs. o try this open fuel cap and kick bike over see if that solves it might be blocked breather to tank.
Nat have a look at spark plug I had one once that sparked when out no problem but when you put back in it was earthling as a very small crack in the pocelin and it was brand new
Thanks mate. I tried two spark plugs and had the same result. I am thinking that it is fuel supply. Just before this the bowl was flooding is I don’t think that float is working properly.
@@NatsNackersYard the valve that the float opens and closes to let the fuel in take it out on the end is a rubber tip if it’s got a indent on it change it
Brilliant video nat mate I only got a drizzle of snow well jealous Lool
Kids have loved it!

I had a similar though a couple of days ago. I have some old ones that I might try cutting back. Thanks mate.

I am pretty sure it’s carb related but I will give it a go with the cap open.
