It hit me in the old JRPG feels which I really wish more H-Games capitalized on, since at least for me a story of a game comes first and unless forced upon the player I typically try to have a "virgin" ending first then play through it once more for the H content afterwards.

Even the anime, Monster Musume had a bit of inspiration from here, and in it's spinoff book a bit of art from Kenkou Cross (Artist of Alice and of this picture in particular.) was featured too. As well as a few others that did MGQ like Setouchi and frfr were in it too if i'm remembering correctly. In the long term, a lot of Monster Girl manga, eroge, and eventually anime were brought to light by this series. Even if a decent number of them weren't directly influenced by it they still got a bit of spot light because of it. (I've been pretty big into the whole monster girl thing ever since.)

No matter what others try to copy the formula. What matter is, this Eroge with MGQ is the first ones what made me hook and even created a strange kink of monstrous girls. Yet you just stayed in the story in the end, many of other games tried it, it is good but. They never match this OG.
When you thought you try to play some generic Eroge just of pass time, but just consumed 3 years of your life and with mods, custom stories - and just generally MGQ.

If I remember right, I don't think this music played while that image was on screen. After finishing the final battle the first time, I went into the game script file, found and deleted the line that changes the music from this to the title screen music, and refought the battle.

Seeing Illias develop like that was astonishing. At the paradox as well if only Heinreich accepted Black Alice's love she would be the same as 16th, that happened too on the different dimension. These twists are really interesting that i cannot wait for the 3rd part, since either you choose, you will be always manipulated by the last ending of the 2nd when the chaos spreads. But damn thinking Alice and Illias fighting side by side always give me chills.

This is one of the best games i've ever played probably, and just like the majority of you guys i got this for a quick nut and man, that decision at the first sludge girl to just go on because I HAD A FEELING somehow this game has more to it than just hentai stuff...and my gut was right, the feelings i experienced playing through this for the first time can never be replicated.
Legit the first game that popularized "Come for the 'plot' and stay for the plot." MGQ, all in all is a very amazing game with its amazing characters, amazing MC developments and amazing storyline. But let's not talk about the Hentai Animated adaption, the only cute thing there is Alice eating her food but that's it.

Its a really good game, but if you really can't handled the abomination of angels, i sympathize
you should play this game for the story and game play. just autoclick/skip through the h-scenes
While the H-scenes are necessary for the plot of the story's plot to understand how terrifying most of the species are, you can just skip it and never lose.
I'm glad chaos alice didn't show up until the sequel, would have ruined their happy ending haha
