This collab fight was hype for me when I first did it but now that I've experienced SHRIFT, I'm a little disappointed the fight wasn't 3 phases against Daji's various forms. We really do need harder fights in Paradox.
i think they won't put challenging fight ever in the "story mode" for the casual who only wanted the story. harder fights are labyrinth of chaos' exclusive
Raw stat increases don't make for harder battles because you can just raise your stats. The big problem is that, regardless of difficulty, the battle isn't interesting.
@@kellamyoshikage286 The problem comes when you reach the lvl cap, the interesting part of paradox mode is finding a proper strat that works again certain boss, yes you could grind like a slave and reach Illiasburg at lvl 70, but sooner or later you would need to start thinking about bosses weaknesses and attacks, ailments and atributes, what character is best for this or that thing, wich job is better for it, and so on. Having said that, paradox mode is too masochistic imo.
@@RadFang Yeah Paradox plays very differently from MGQ and SHRIFT. The latter two play in a sort of psuedo puzzle style (especially SHRIFT) where both you and your oponents have counters for each other and you have to think carefully about what to use and when to use it. The only exeptions are the harder fights like Black Alice and Illias in MGQ and Arachne and Daji in SHRIFT to give some examples. It's probably why Daji translates best to Paradox...and even then not that well. Even if she had her 3 forms it'd still feel somewhat underwhelming to her ridiculous boss in SHRIFT. Although it kind of makes sense in universe that she'd be way easier since in SHRIFT Kazuya has to survive her onslaught all by himself, while in MGQP he's essentially ganging up on her alongside people as crazy as Luka, Illias, the angel twins etc... Yeah I feel kinda bad for her now...
This song is called Ikusa Japan 2, it's a free song by SHW. They've also uploaded this on TH-cam, although on that end it's the single loop version while SHRIFT and Paradox use the 3 loop version like this. Most SHRIFT songs are free songs from elsewhere, actually, with the main commissioned song being Last Confession. With MGQ, I don't know how many songs are taken from elsewhere (like Black Alice's theme was) vs commissioned.
Pretty sure all MGQ's osts are free music but they changed the name on the folder. Either classical public domain or free game music which i can find in a lot of doujin games
I haven't gone looking for the whole soundtrack personally or whatever, I know the generic comedy theme is free while Black Alice's theme was used in Rosenkreuzstillete as well, and the Field 3 theme used early on got struck down because that one was not free and the holders didn't like its use.

It's funny how all characters have the mixer on the side, except this one, I wonder why it is? (On a side note, it's funny that in a collab that focus on succubi, the character that breaks the censorship the most is a kitsune.)
It's in Daji's nature to steal the show. Even in her own game she comes out of fucking nowhere towards the end of the game, has what might be the best fight of vanilla SHRIFT and somehow went on to become the poster girl of the series despite having such little screentime compared to a lot of other characters in the main story.
@@shadowthelegend100 For me it was super hype cause of the music and how our best friend's is at stake too. I could not get hard cause of that. Oh and also the slime phase of her is cancer RNG.
@@shadowthelegend100 that's probably because she is actually hinted at existing throughout the entire game - you just don't knoww WHAT she is, where she is or anything really. And then when she's this omegabuff boss who you absolutely can't beat, it's a crazy good experience.
Currently playing shrift and my ass is getting annihilated by her in my pacifist run. I only managed to get a consistent strategy that will get me past her two phases after a lot of tries and now her third form has me stuck, since I can't get enough damage in before she kills me. (I have 5 corruption levels against her and didn't find(?) all recruitable monsters. I'm missing like 4 or 5 in "my room".
Thats the point though, LoC gear is completely broken to compete with its insane bosses. You can't even get the "beat the game" achievement in part 3 if you have ever entered LoC, because Toro Toro knows it breaks the main game.

If you want HARD fights, play in paradox or go to the LoC.
