I brought this series on DVD....the writing and acting is just brilliant, very 70s, but thats refreshing. Spencer Banks was a truly an excellent actor, I saw his amazing talent in Timeslip....
Was as good as I remember it. Barry from Last of Summer Wine in his first role. I was 16 turning 17 and now a pensioner. Would love too see the full series again.🇬🇧👍✌🙂
I can remember seeing bits of this series when it was first on - with it having Simon from Timeslip in it, I originally thought it was that - never saw much of Timeslip, either - my only vague memories of Timeslip were: A girl disappearing under the time barrier (Episode 1); An older version of Liz along with the young version (The Time Of The Ice Box); Simon almost meeting a young version of himself (The Day Of The Clone); A room without windows that said ENTRY FORBIDDEN Something about a school, whose telly was interrupted by The Voice Of Truth (turned out to be Tightrope - this curiosity of a programme) I never got to see a series all the way through, as my parents saw telly as a reward for doing the work of a housewife - remained resolutely off until all the jobs were done (by then, so were the programmes) or the news came on!
@Paul Davidson Thanks for flagging that up - that's good news for those who didn't get the original release. The new release has an attractive cover but seems to have the same contents. I wondered if they might therefore have put it in their Re-View section of re-releases but maybe they wanted it to have greater prominence..

Don't remember this at all but recognised Spencer Banks from Timeslip.
