Shrimp Tank Setup | Part 1 | 1 week progress

Found moderate growth in my plants. Finally there is an algae formation on my glass which is a good sign. Shrimps look quiet active and are freely moving that suggest the water parameters are good. I have added my aquarium plants for my soil i.e. Rotala rotundifolia green & Alternanthera reineckii mini. Please note to add rotala behind the aquarium and not in the front due to its quick growth rate.
I feed my fishes just once a day late evenings. Keep my lights and filter on for just 6 hours a day. I also add few drops of plant fertilizers to my aquarium 2 to 4 drops a day, product by AQUATIC REMEDIES. Its rich in nitrogen, potassium and phosphate. Also helps your fishes as it breaks down ammonia present in your aquarium.
Currently my aquarium has 24 blue shrimps, 6 tetra neons & 2 apple snails. Thankyou
