Amazing results for such a simple setup another lesson for all the reefers. Focus on stability and good practices. You dont need most expensive equipment to run beautiful reef tank.
I'm not sure what the par is on this tank, but when I had the same lights on the smaller tank, the par was between 300 on the upper parts and 100 or so on the sand bed.
Hi Vince, the corals on this system are right up there with Jason Fox if not brighter. One quick question, do you does anything? Aminos or coral food ? Thanks
Hi Vince. Beautiful tank. Can you share how you setup up your power heads? I have the same and I want to put the 2 AIs on the back like you did and the MPs where you did. Which directions did you point you AIs and are the MPs set perfectly across from eachother or are they offset? I keep watching but I can’t quite tell
Hi, run on the spectral controller. 12 hour ramp up from 0-100 intensity and then a ramp down. Mostly white for the first few hours then turning blue for the rest of the day.
So I have not measured this current tank but the previous tank with the same lighting set I was getting 300 par in the upper parts. Definitely sufficient but would be curious to see how some of the acropora would react to higher Par in the 400-500 range. Thinking of upgrading to the 500x sometime in the near future.
@vinsreeftank5278 I've had my tank running for 2 years and it looks like a disgrace compared. But thank you for sharing because seeing your tank gives me hope that some hard work will get my tank looking halfway as good as yours
Hi its a 12 hour ramp up hitting 100 intensity halfway through the day for about 3 hours then a ramp down. Cycle starts pretty white and bluer as the day ends. No reds or greens,

Love it!

Jeez, great work, absolutely beautiful aquascaping. No controller? hate you so much 😅
haha
Absolutely incredible. I'm surprised the SPS are so happy with the rather weak Kessils
He is able to keep it stable and the coral acclimated to that.
