I think he makes it a bigger deal than it has to be. Lots of people on Botched do that. If I met him I would assume he was in a car crash or something and I wouldn't even ask or necessarily care. But he brings it up all the time, so he thinks that people are more concerned with it than they are. I understand why he wants it fixed and I don't blame him for that, but he doesn't have to be sooooo concerned with it.

These doctors are always trying to make stuff so complicated n show that its impossible but bammnn
But they are realistic. People have to understand that there is a risk they are taking.
And docs do not want to overpromise or give too much hope. The patients are already emotionally distraught and some are traumatized
I believe when they say that its complicated, tbh its good they don't flower it up to be safe and put the patient at risk not just physically but mentally ya know? It also makes the person happier in the end I think.
Because American shows tend to overdramatize everything to keep the viewer hooked

What is DNS?
For his sake I really hope he doesnt have any issues later (collapsing, kids throwing stuff at his face, etc). He seems like a nice guy who would accept it either way but I believe this is his last chance at a normal nose. So I hope it stays the way he likes it .

I think the wife wasn't phased by it but she was concerned about his confidence on the inside. She could see that his humour masked it which shows what a good spouse she it. I had a deformity with my ears and was similar to her husband where I acted like I wasn't affected by it but I really was. I'm really not a vain person who obsesses over looks but people were distracted by my ears and it's what people would see when they looked at me. They were pretty bad. Ever since getting them done I've just looked normal and people don't star at me pretending not to look at my ears anymore. Best feeling. Surgery really sucks though and I would never get it done to enhance anything, I would only recommend it if you have a deformity that is around the face area that's really distracting.

I know how he feels. During my christmas play when I was a kid, I walked into the back of my friend and bust my nose open. It's been crooked all my life. I had a septoplasty to help with my breathing, but it's still got a bump/crooked :(

I genuinely think from the front face view his nose was lovely it was totally fine but if it cause him problems good on him for getting it fixed but I honestly think it was really nice and anyone thinking about getting surgery if your nose look similar to this I think it's a nice nose

I watched another episode with the doctor before, not the nose specialist, the other one, commenting. The other episode, he was so professional, now he was unnecessarily graphic and brutal, like it was for TV or for posing. Unneeded, especially with his supposedly high profile of professionalism and experience.
