I can't decide between the Elvie pump or the Elvie stride! My biggest concern is the suction. I heard people had issues with the suction on the Elvie pump not being strong enough which makes me lean towards the Elvie stride. I also really enjoy the Elvie pump having no tubing or holster attached to you. Any suggestions?
Does it have the same problem with the suction holes inside the flange like the Elvie? I always lost suction because those holes would get blocked so I couldn’t get any milk after the first 5-8 minutes using the original Elvie.
Can you see the nipple through the Elvie Stride when it’s on? I noticed it’s clear but is the nipple visible during the pumping session? I check my Spectra flanges during pumping to see if the alignment is correct…Or to see the output (spray vs drops, etc.). Is that possible with the Stride? Thanks! I know with the original Elvie the nipple is not visible once the Elvie is turned on.
How do you compare this to the Spectra 9plus? I'm torn between choosing this one or the Spectra 9. Looking for most simple portable pumping that i can move around the house in without leaking. I'm very busty so not sure if these work with very big chested women?
the elvie pumps unable to handle the amount of output i have. it always leaks because the valve did not 'drop'? my milk fast enough into the cup that it backflows and leaks through the sides. im even on the lowest level setting for both stimulation and express mode. do you think the stride would have the same issue or will it be better or faster at the dripping or collecting of milk into the cups?
I’m having baby #3 with a heart defect we don’t know much. But I may need to EP Deff on how she does. Do you think the stride is good for EP mama’s? I have a motif Luna from my last baby that I love.
Only one side of my pumps is working. Both worked previously. I'm under 10 uses and still a newbie. Is there a video to troubleshoot or have others had problems with this? Great video!
I have slightly elastic nipples and the issue I always had was my nipples getting pulled in too far that it covers the suction holes in the original Elvie. I've tried different inserts and no go. Do you think this could be an issue with the stride? Where are the suction holes?
I’ve been using the pump for three days now and I like it. I have elastic nipples and the original Elvies were a waste for me. Suction is good and I’m getting the same output as my motif Luna.
Does anyone knows of meridian (Medicaid ) insurance covers it ? I’m in IL, anyway I will find out n let you guys know when I order it through my doctors if anything !
First-time mom here due in December! I was leaning towards getting a Motif Luna for my primary pump but now I'm considering the Stride. Would you recommend the Stride as a primary solo pump for a first-time mom or should I stick with the Luna as a primary and purchase a Stride or OG Elvie later on? TIA, love your videos! They are super helpful!
The stride is very promising , since it’s a bee product though , I’m not sure if it’s nuisances yet though . I can see using it as a primary pump with no issues at all, I would highly recommend you joining our willow & Elvie Facebook group where women share their experience
I got the motif Luna. But they never mention to me that the Elvie stride was coming out. If not I would have waited. I would have rather had that pump. I am not happy with the motif and got it through insurance and can’t get another one or return the one I have. 😭 I am so upset. And I just ordered a few weeks back.
I have tricare prime active duty and was able to get mine completely free when I ordered it through BabyPavilion. I’m so excited to try this pump when baby 2 gets here! Really hoping it makes breast feeding/pumping easier than with my first little one. I had the spectra synergy gold with baby 1 but couldn’t sit still to pump. Fingers crossed! Thank you for posting this!
The baby Buddha is way to Strong, the Elvie OG has a gentle suckle and the stride is stronger than the Original Elvies but has a vibration to it like the spectra. All very different pumps, I recommend the stride. I’ve had all of them and my favorites are the og and stride

I have two kids already and I know they will need me for things and if I can’t bend over to help my littles, it’s not giving me the freedom I’m willing to pay for. Thankfully my insurance covers the majority of the willow pump.
I was wondering would you recommend this pump or the freemie? The freemie is completely free with insurance and the elvie stride has a small upgrade fee and I am not worried to pay for the upgrade fee.
It actually is possible especially if the pump you chose isn’t working for you. You need a second prescription from your doctor and to call and check and see with your insurance if they will accept it and cover another one. I just learned this today

Go with the the stride.

How do you completely dry your parts?? I am having issues with that

Could you do a comparison between the Elvis stride and the Freemie? I would appreciate it! Thanks.
