One locks the bits in, one doesn’t. Where the one with the collet is too fat to fit the other one often fits, but it doesn’t secure the bit so it might be left in the screw

And it's interesting that there are other brands (Makita ect..) that have identical products, just with a different name stamped on them. I'm not sure if the bosch brand name is even relevant here, as they appear to be junk products from China with just different brand names stamped on them, and probably all from the same factory.

In other cases it is USA, UK, and many other countries including my own, India, banking on China for most of its needs. Why cannot countries have their products in their own countries? Because politicians and corporate nexus is interested only in vulgar wealth and doesn't give a damn to its peoples. People on the other hand are just swayed by emotions and slogans of politicians.
