4:10 Castling is the only move where two pieces move at the same time, but if you checkmate me enough times I'll make the entire board move all at once through the window.
You forgot to explain checkmate. Checkmate is if the king is in check and the king can’t move, no pieces can capture the piece that gives the check and no pieces can block the check.
Overall yes. But in practice, knight is better early game (can jump over all the pieces in the way) and bishop is better later game (can cover more squares as long as it’s not blocked).
If you stick with it for 5 years you might just break 2000elo with it!!!!! But yeah agreed man that shit is brutal. Spent two years straight losing a loooooot of games. Got the happy ending in the end tho
I thought about it but basic chess notations are very easy to intuitively understand, and the more complex ones really are not needed for a beginner. Also thank you man, I completely forgot to add some timestamps!

Not, it’s not
No*
Yes, it is
Easy to play, very hard to master it.
why am I even watching this I already know how to play chess
Same
Absolutely clear explanation, I will send this to my students.
Loved the updates timeline and patch notes 😂😂
Why is this channel underrated?..you deserve more subsriber✨😤
Chess is absolutely amazing DIFFICULT game for any serious chessplayers. It is indeed, maybe easy for beginners.
This video is very useful for a beginner like me, thank you!
nice explanation mate
Ok! Chess is easy to play for fun. BUT TO GET GOOD IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT.
You forgot to explain checkmate. Checkmate is if the king is in check and the king can’t move, no pieces can capture the piece that gives the check and no pieces can block the check.
The checkmate is explained at 3:30. I just used "Game Over" instead of the word "Checkmate". Even "Stalemate" is replaced with "Game ends in a draw".
Great job! Nice vid
best channel ever made..❤️
I think the Bishop is worth a little bit more than the knight
Overall yes. But in practice, knight is better early game (can jump over all the pieces in the way) and bishop is better later game (can cover more squares as long as it’s not blocked).
Hes back!!
Isnt there a move where to bishops can capture 2 enemy pawns standing between them? I think its named il vaticano
Ponds have 2 abilities. What about en passant?
If it was easy, majority of people would be at least 1000
When you want to learn about chess, but also must study Greek Philosophy.
this is chess, it will muddle your brain trying to decide which move to make means life or death
Dude straight up said "Black square bishop".. while highlighting the brown squares😂
Yeah? Dark squared bishop, black squared bishop, brown squared bishop, you can call it whatever
It's the color the black queen starts on
1:56 they move like germany in 1939-1945
sicilian defense as first opening is horrible for beginners...
If you stick with it for 5 years you might just break 2000elo with it!!!!!
But yeah agreed man that shit is brutal. Spent two years straight losing a loooooot of games. Got the happy ending in the end tho
It’s easy to learn, very hard to master!
THIS IS CHASS.
I should not have watched this entire video when I'm literally playing chess for 6 month 😭
The only thing easy in chess is winning against me 😅
It is easy just move pieces
18:36 dude casually showed how to lose with black xd
Bro forgot the other pawns ability
En passant👀
That Is mentioned in the patch update section haha , I believe it is easier for a beginner to understand it in the context of defending the king.
You should have explained how chess notation works and put time stamps on the video
I thought about it but basic chess notations are very easy to intuitively understand, and the more complex ones really are not needed for a beginner. Also thank you man, I completely forgot to add some timestamps!
Easy to learn* , hard to master
Everything is hard to master.
