Specially as a celeb, you influence a entire group of people and got to set the example for what you want others to do. Beyoncé is classy in that sense in this clip. // unlike other celebs, like when britney and Christina did the tribute with Madonna and Missy Elliot. Christina talked about how gross it was that britney and Madonna kissed like they did, but if you watch the clip close enough you get the end of the kiss with Christina and Madonna lol, she was jealous thst britney got the air time and did a bashing comment on 2 celebs. Beyoncé had experienced harsh media backlash during the Destiny’s Child controversy. Also I think Beyoncé was also aware of the toxic celebrity obsessed media back in the 2000’s and witnessed how that mentally destroyed Britney. Beyoncé also knew people like Perez Hilton was also willing and hungry to make Beyoncé his next target of celebrity gossip. That’s probably the main reason why Beyoncé remained so private and I’d assume she had an incredible amount of empathy for Britney knowing that could have also been her if she didn’t surround herself with great people and made the conscious decision to remain as private as possible.

The racism within the music industry in the early 2000's had somewhat of a silver lining for Beyoncé. Although in her EARLIER years she did not receive the same amount media coverage as Britney Spears, despite being just as if not more so talented, this also meant she was not under the constant and unfair media scrutiny Britney received. Her Coachella performance being the most live streamed performance of all time. Her multimillion dollar deals with Netflix and Disney.
