I think this build has answered my prayers. I'm someone who would rather cast a spell than throw a mine or use a melee skill and I've forever been chasing the high of my soulrend trickster of leagues past. This build ticks all my boxes!
I've had such a tough time getting into PoE with some of these league starter guides because they just weren't detailed enough. I LOVE your act by act breakdown for this, its perfect beginners. I'm looking forward to trying this!!! The animation of Power Siphon reminds me so much of warlock from Last epoch which I had a lot of fun with. Great guide, thanks again!
Nice work! A couple of notes: Power Siphon also moved from 100% attack speed to 115%, which is effectively a 15% More Attack Speed buff you can add to your config Piscator's, being an Imbued Wand, also picked up roughly 7% more attack speed and 1% more base crit, which is about another 14% increased Critical Strike Chance. This would make your Piscator's 9.94% crit and 1.83 APS, which you could add as custom mods. For physical damage mitigation, you now also have options for eldritch modifiers on body armor for Physical Damage taken as Chaos, which could help a lot. The new bases also add a ton of defenses to this build. The Lich's Circlet shown in the teaser has a base of 126 ES, which means a perfectly rolled 3x t1 is 544 ES (and like 2700 flat evasion due to Trickster) Also, I don't think Ravenous Passion works here. The line on wand skills reads as: "Increases and Reductions to Spell Damage also apply to Attack Damage", and new Rage provides MORE spell damage. You can test this by adding a custom modifier of "30% more Spell Damage" and note it doesn't change your damage.
he does not care, he does not even have showcases or anything, only showcase is t5 map which is pure joke in terms of build making, just another hype eater. Not applying any patchnotes changes in early pob not even understanding difference between "more" and "increase".
Im waiting on the PoB to be updated for the wand changes/bases and as I update the build during league start ill add in the new bases hence why I mentioned under changes it will give is much more than shown. The more spell damage I was unsure of thats why I added question marks under then helm for it, Im hoping that it would be added to the total flat amount of spell damage but need PoB to be updated, if it turns out not to work ill remove it and add to my pinned comment. P.s you can adjust data in POB without new version it is totally do not need to wait till it updates, this is only numbers which are somehow reliable and close enough to real things in game, so if the thing is only about setting up new crit values , you can do it yourself. Firstly I was pretty tired after testing for a solid 9 days while adding as much information as possible without making it too expensive or over the top so yes I did overlook Ravenous Passion. Secondly Its been fixed and added to notes with the pinned comment to make sure people aren't confused. Lastly adding in the extra buffs is not needed because the showcase is of the current state before buffs that's why I stated that the build will be more powerful than it currently is. I understand your frustration but I am just a single person who doesn't have multiple people to test/double check my stuff for me.
Can confirm, great league starter. Super smooth leveling and I was destroying maps and looking forward to getting the upgrades. Even on all rares it felt fantastic
I'm going to do my best to throw this together for my last build in SSF this league. I need a fast power farmer and this looks like it'll fit the bill. I've got most of the core uniques and some ideas about how to make it work before going CI. Thanks for all the notes!
@@Betta-ah Yeah, I watched a bunch of them! Build really popped off once I put Fury Valve on. I think I'm probably going to put the Ballista in Thunderfist and swap to a full 6L around 85. Should suppress cap easy. I did find a Void Battery, but I'm realizing that's more of a caster power charge stacking weapon. Going to have to keep a look out for the Malachai's Loop shield, I never realized it was +2 charges. I've got Ralakesh boots + Badge of the Brotherhood / Revelation. Those Soul Ascension gloves w/ Soul Eater probably aren't on the menu, but I do have Headhunter & Mageblood so I may try to work one or the other into the build when I swap to CI later on.

So this is my second build guide I've followed in PoE, was going really well, switched to chaos inoculation and cleared almost entire atlas. I thought, this build is way better than my last one, but I'm sort of struggling on map bosses... Then I realised I somehow forgot to allocate Ghost Reaver... woops.
@@tartty100 I am still playing it, currently in the process of transitioning to the end game version. This build got me to t16 maps basically straight from finishing campaign, never hit any walls. I did normal exarch and eater, and the delve bosses quite easily too.
You can add anything you want, the ballistas are just a placeholder until I have tested a few ideas to improve the build. They mainly to help progression and early clearing
You can farm pretty much anything you want except for bosses/juiced essence as they hurt early on. I recommend Expedition with Betrayal and shrines early on to get quick currency, you could also do delirium with beyond but could be dodgy. Another strategy could be to do Blight with ritual for bases and oils just watch out for blight bosses they hit like trucks!
This looks very cool, will the leveling PoB be updated towards the new version of PoB later? :) Good chance ill try out this build since i love wanders and CF champ got nuked out of orbit (RIP)

What would be the endgame guide? I got 60D and looking for T17 / Ubers capable build or something that scales with further investment to those. Hexblast core items are insanely pricy this league so it's kind of out of question

hey, i decided to play power siphon and found your guide. its well put togther but i was wondering why youre playing with a shied? dual wielding gives only 4% block less than the shields you recomment AND gives attack speed. is the shield only necessary/recommended in order to get res capped because of all the uniques?
Thanks! Happy you decided to play this beast of a build, I use a shield for extra spell damage + resistance and extra energy shield as we do have many uniques yes Also with a shield you can use Shield Charge to be more speedy.
Will you do later Int stacking with this build? If so do you make updates for it? i might found my starter then but i dont want to go full blind for a build that i never even played the ascendancy

You are welcome! We stack up spell damage from our wand implicit & shield early on for about 120% spell damage. Later Malachais loop gives us 15% spell damage per power charge. We end up having about 150% spell damage added to attacks for FREE. I think the build will be fine as we achieve just as much damage as we used to with even more attack speed considering we lost rage + berserk.
@@Betta-ah Thunderfist doesn't give you 100% maximum shock effect, it gives you +100% effect (which helps you apply larger shocks). In PoB turn off your custom shock config and check Calcs / Shock Effect Mod for your Power Siphon and you'll see you're only applying a 29% shock to Pinnacles with your Lvl 90+ CI Red Maps items/tree.
Is this build able too kill ubers easy (endgame version)? Dont you get one shot if a phys hit you in t17 maps, because if i have immortal call, and frost shield deactivated you only got 11k max hit physical damage. I think to tank the one minotaur special slam you need 18k max phy hit and for a regular shaper slam 20 k (shaper slam is easy to doge but anyway.
For ubers you will need to adjust some supports and flasks ofc. To mitigate not getting hit with phys we are Elusive endgame with 140% effect and we have the additional Evade change along with Ghost Dance + Wind dancer so the chances of being 1 shot are rather slim.
Jungroan's miner is fantastic for damage especially with bossing but it is clunky if you aren't familiar with mines mechanics/playstyle. I honestly recommend trying my version as a new player
@@Betta-ah His version, consisting almost entirely of rare items, has damage comparable to the end-game pob of a selfcast. Besides, the HB was not killed and the ralakesh with the current loot balance can be worth a million, as in the last league before the price collapse.
The boots are a must to use with Malachais Loop, for constant Spell Damage. Gravens secret belt gives Absorbtion charges instead of power so that way we dont loose our much needed critical strike chance/multiplier. The chest has to be Replica Hyyris for the Spell Suppress and huge chunk of added flat lightning damage to attacks.
quick question: It will be the first time i play this skill so i did wiki Power syphon and it said when you support it by locus mine it provides a significant increase in single-target damage. the question is if you know pros and cons going mines? i did never play mines either so i really dont know.
Yo correct power siphon's single target does become really good with mines. The only issue is the playstyle and having to position yourself correctly. Example: you have to place mines 3meters away from yourself so if you arent used to mine based builds its not a good idea to try out in my honest opinion. Jungroan made a fantastic guide for PS miner btw.

KB can be used I had a few viewers use it with this build and they reckon it was good enough. Single target isnt super amazing but its still decent enough.
anyoone else having a problem importing the pob ? it keeps telling me pob uses an unrecognizable passive tree and that i need to update my pob but im using the same version of pob shown in the video (2.42.0)
The single target is sometimes really good other times its bad, really depends on map modifiers such as reduced extra crit damage taken, avoid ailments and more life do take a lot longer. With the buffs to overall damage I expect it to be muuuch betta tho.
No I farmed T17's with the much higher budget last league. With the nerfs to them it should be easier for sure, only with endgame gear not my current gear.
3M Dps is with the cheapest setup possible without breaking the bank to get your red maps/early invitations done. I have a early late game that gets 10M with about 2Divines & late game setup getting 20M+. Cant confirm how much the late game setup will cost at this time.

@@evoknz Yes but I did not do the config to include all buffs. We get around 20M+ with the config optimized for the setup in case you were worried if 5M seems low.
Hey, I'm confused with the POB. the endgame is 6M DPS, is that enough to kill ubers? Any POB settings I need to change from your POB link to make some realistic understanding of these numbers?
The endgame is only for reference, my planned setup for ubers should easily get 50M+ but need PoB to be updated properly to check the numbers with and test myself as its speculation atm.

Hexblast deals way more damage for cheaper and I am not sure about exsang. The playstyles are all totally different between all 3. PS got base attack speed buff and spell damage applies to attacks at 150% value with all wands having more crit + attack speed.
It's hard to say, 3.24 I spent about 50 Divines for T17 + Wave 30 and some ubers(that did not go well) but that was week 2. Early endgame bossing should easily be done with 2 divines without ralakesh etc. With the changes to the build I cannot confirm an exact price at the moment, i need to test in league.

Logical steps will be to get a 6L Replica Hyyri's Ire, Ralakesh's Impatience, paired with Malachai's loop, Graven's secret belt and Soul Ascension. You must have the boots for the shield and belt to work together properly.

@@SuperTimmmi you're gonna charge stacking with the self cast version, therefore you will 100% need ralakesh at some point, which will be around 50-60 divines next league easy, that said, locus mine takes time getting used to for sure and its not for everybody

On that note, rage inheretly gives attack damage already so it should be totally fine to use it as is.

FOr anyone leveling this now - don't forget to runeforge spectral wolves and envy on your wands. Basically carries you until end game.

Awsome build. played this in 3.24 aswell and got to end game very easily. i would Recommend for newer players as its easy to build and follow

Could there a different setup for bossing? Was never really a fan of ballistas. Perhaps a "Barrage of volley fire" setup?

The build looks quite interesting. However, I don't quite understand where the 115% shock comes from in the calculations.
100% effect is from the gloves and the 15% total is from our mastery

You dont need those boots. End charge Exarch chest implicit. wand mastery for pc on crit, and blood rage/mark mastry for frenzy.
The boots are a must to use with Malachais Loop, for constant Spell Damage. Gravens secret belt gives Absorbtion charges instead of power so that way we dont loose our much needed critical strike chance/multiplier. The chest has to be Replica Hyyris for the Spell Suppress and huge chunk of added flat lightning damage to attacks.
Wouldnt ravenous passion simply not do anything for this build as more is not an increase or reduction?

quick question: It will be the first time i play this skill so i did wiki Power syphon and it said when you support it by locus mine it provides a significant increase in single-target damage. the question is if you know pros and cons going mines? i did never play mines either so i really dont know.
Yo correct power siphon's single target does become really good with mines. The only issue is the playstyle and having to position yourself correctly. Example: you have to place mines 3meters away from yourself so if you arent used to mine based builds its not a good idea to try out in my honest opinion. Jungroan made a fantastic guide for PS miner btw.

Kb is my favorite skill in PoE, I'm very tempted to lesgue start a wander but single target is still looking sus
KB can be used I had a few viewers use it with this build and they reckon it was good enough. Single target isnt super amazing but its still decent enough.
i thought %more multipliers to spell damage don't apply to your power siphon, only increases work?
Correct, I overlooked this and was under the impression it would apply to the added spell damageI have made the necessary changes.

anyoone else having a problem importing the pob ? it keeps telling me pob uses an unrecognizable passive tree and that i need to update my pob but im using the same version of pob shown in the video (2.42.0)

How is single Target on this before you get end game gear?
The single target is sometimes really good other times its bad, really depends on map modifiers such as reduced extra crit damage taken, avoid ailments and more life do take a lot longer. With the buffs to overall damage I expect it to be muuuch betta tho.

No I farmed T17's with the much higher budget last league. With the nerfs to them it should be easier for sure, only with endgame gear not my current gear.
Im a noob, is 3m dps enough for lategame ? I see other builds having like 50m and such
3M Dps is with the cheapest setup possible without breaking the bank to get your red maps/early invitations done. I have a early late game that gets 10M with about 2Divines & late game setup getting 20M+. Cant confirm how much the late game setup will cost at this time.

@@evoknz Yes but I did not do the config to include all buffs. We get around 20M+ with the config optimized for the setup in case you were worried if 5M seems low.
Hey, I'm confused with the POB. the endgame is 6M DPS, is that enough to kill ubers? Any POB settings I need to change from your POB link to make some realistic understanding of these numbers?
The endgame is only for reference, my planned setup for ubers should easily get 50M+ but need PoB to be updated properly to check the numbers with and test myself as its speculation atm.

whats the difference between this Hexblast and exsanguiate, is there some sort of buff in 3.25?
@@XbattlepopeX power siphon got base attack speed buff. Wands got base crit buff
Hexblast deals way more damage for cheaper and I am not sure about exsang. The playstyles are all totally different between all 3. PS got base attack speed buff and spell damage applies to attacks at 150% value with all wands having more crit + attack speed.
How much invest for taking down endgame bosses ?
It's hard to say, 3.24 I spent about 50 Divines for T17 + Wave 30 and some ubers(that did not go well) but that was week 2. Early endgame bossing should easily be done with 2 divines without ralakesh etc. With the changes to the build I cannot confirm an exact price at the moment, i need to test in league.

Yes with the nerfs they should be way easier to clear them without having juiced up endgame gear. Will test it asap when i get to them.

So once i reach the gear from the redmap pob, what would be the next logical step? Try gathering the other uniques?
Logical steps will be to get a 6L Replica Hyyri's Ire, Ralakesh's Impatience, paired with Malachai's loop, Graven's secret belt and Soul Ascension. You must have the boots for the shield and belt to work together properly.
@@Betta-ah If you compare your build to the powersiphon mine build jungroans posted, which would you recommend more? Is one of them stronger then the other?
@@SuperTimmmi you're gonna charge stacking with the self cast version, therefore you will 100% need ralakesh at some point, which will be around 50-60 divines next league easy, that said, locus mine takes time getting used to for sure and its not for everybody
