Really great explanation and drill. Easy to get confused between pronation and internal shoulder rotation. You need both. This also applies to the forehand. And golf downswing. In fact any throwing motion!
Thanks Ken will try these when I get out on court. Now stopped from playing after playing at least twice a week for decades (I'm 71). I have primary arthritis in upper back and will be receiving treatment soon. When I get back I want to change my service which is biggest source of pain. Basically my neck doesn't turn as it should nor do my shoulders. I was intending to copy my vet friends services which have evolved to have minimal twist and effort while still being consistent, but I thought about you. Can you throw out the coaching manual and science and do a short video on a vets service producing minimal strain on back and neck while still being effective?
Hi. I'm also 60+ so I totally understand. It's sometimes tough making TH-cam videos. The highest ranked player I work with is 122 on the WTA tour. The oldest is 93. I try to cover something for everyone. Do you think this is too extreme? Glad your enjoying the channel. Do you have any other tennis issues that I could help with? If so let me know www.oneminutetennis.com

Great observation on the shoulder rotation! That's why Pete looks hunched on his serve.

Great
This techniques apply on flat serve

Be careful of shoulder impingement with a too violent shoulder internal rotation. I can’t do it as much as I would like to as a 73 yo.
