This printer can only be used with Dymo brand labels, which are a lot more expensive than generic. I am glad my Dymo 450 (can be used with Dymo OR other brand compatible labels) is still working, but I won't replace it with the 550 because of this label restriction.
Hi!! I wanted to change de paper that round out, I opened the whole thing, and were the cutter is, get off... i now I dont know how to put it.. and the light keeps flashing... Can you please advice? Thanks! :)
Did you have the labels in the wrong way at 3:17? They look to be the other way when the print happens..

I'm looking for a labelwriter to write out labels (OCR-codes) from a web interface (labels generated in web interface). does that work with this writer or can I only print from their software (i.e. creating labels within their software)? Thanks!

BRING BACK THE 450 INSTRUCTIONS/SETUP. This new set up is crap. Hundreds of your customers valuable time wasted. DYMO 450 was the best and easiest label writer ever - with this one 550 you need to set up new every single time, they cant be saved at the side like before - have to be saved on the PC - as if you would bother. The large label you have to drag all the sides out to make the text fit the large label - every time. I print hundreds of different labels. Took hours to download too. And you force us to buy your brand labels - how dare you. Total Crap so angry with you fools. You should value your paying customers who made your company.
