I heard super ornstein is tougher so I wanted to do it as a challenge to myself. Failed so many times yesterday. This is giving me good tips. Looks like patience and recovery is the key. Thank you and well played!
Just beat the game twice with the exact same weapon and armor. This fight was the only genuinely tough fight in the game …. Gave me fits both times. Everything else was pretty easy.
I feel like on the first playthrough this is the genuinely most difficult fight, but on my second playthrough it seemed tremendously more easy than before, even with super ornstein
@@suchar7175 same goes with Ornstein, if you stand in his legs, he has no chance to hit you, only dangerous attack is buttslam, and buttslam's aoe way smaller than Electro-Smough's one
I will never understand why most people fight super Smough instead of this one, super Smough is very boring and generic, it's extremely telegraphed and offers little to no challenge, super Ornstein is a lot of fun and it also gives you a better and lighter armor (easier to carry), a ring and also a lighter weapon. I also feel like it's easier to kill Smough in the 1st phase because he's a bigger target, much slower and with attacks easier to avoid.
I fought Super Ornstein twice on Ng+, I would've just needed 1ot 2 hits to kill him, but I failed. Second try I won, but it didn't feel as victorious as winning first try.

Funnily enough, I beat them frist try. I couldn't believe it since I was underleveled as well. Guess I got lucky

I didn't knew you could jump these lighint explosions they do when they jump...
You can jump/roll through a lot more attacks than you would think.

It's the giant armor, you can buy it in anor londo from the blacksmith, it's usually used in the giant dad builds
