I also wanna add that I went 58/3 with 30 killstreak with diamondback + kunai, its just a really good loadout where you become a really strong 1v1 class after 1 backstab
Diamondback is a really good gun for spy, hell maybe even the best but nothing can make me feel the way that i feel after hitting a headshot with the amby

I’m confused on what the hell valve was thinking when we’re making their last updates to the game until recent. They nerfed the enforcer until it’s only use is so niche that it might as well just be a slightly worse reskin of stock, while nerfing the ambassador into a reasonably balanced weapon that has well thought out upsides and downsides for the most part, and at the same time not doing anything to a weapon which, unlike the previous ones accept without allow you to make use of it unless you just play spy, resulting in it literally just doing what the past versions of both of the other revolvers I mentioned but less interestingly. Valves brain started crushing into itself some time in 2016 and has just never stopped doing so since.
You should get a friend to engineer on the other team, use eureka and build like 8 teleporters to sap. Or more if he builds a dispenser or does it next to an ammo pack. Since that wrench makes them just 25 metal.
Sniper can do it better: one-shot enemies, non-stop one-shot enemies, penetrated one-shot, fair rifles which nobody uses. Sniper is better than spy as an assasin even including diamondback. Even as a support class

I like playing spy sometimes but i never use this weapon because i like having fun playing games and I don't like ruining other people fun as well for that reason i don't like using very OP stuff or unfun to fight against and this gun is both so i pretend it doeasn't exists because it is the best revorvel for sure and I hope it will get the same treatmet as Ambassador because if amby deserved it then this fucking thing deserve it aswell

its kinda idiotic that people think the diamond backs bad/op when it shares the same stats as the ambassador but instead of getting crits by treating tf2 like every other fps game on the planet (ie headshots) you get it for playing spy as a spy and doing your job sapping buildings and landing backstabs. I always viewed the diamondback as Spy’s “phlog”, so whenever I’m in a game and an enemy pyro uses the Phlog, I’ll switch to the diamondback
