The craftsman/artist who made the mask should be more celebrated than Tutankhamun.
They should have enlisted the greatest metal workers, and goldsmiths in the world to fix it. This is not only an Egyptian treasure, but a treasure of humanity

The workers who glued the beard to the mask got prison sentence for 3 years each. I think they panicked and try to reattach it again after it come out during cleaning.

Its somehow disturbing , that these archaeologists , remove and fiddle with these precious artifacts left by the ancient inhabitant . They remove, touch and shift all these from their original places for the so called research. It would've been better if they could carry out their research without altering anything . But then again , discoveries can't be made without exploration .

They are doing the right thing using aliens glue on all ancient artifacts without further damages the mask or turn it to dust because all this artifacts are meant to be buried forever without ever seeing the living days lights or touch it or it will be parishes from the four elements of the season not like the status they were built from sandstone for the outsiders. ...
