  • Invite your visitors to experience a once-in-a-lifetime insight into the archaeology of ancient Egypt as they step inside one of the world’s greatest historic events: the 1922 discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb. For nearly 100 years now, Tutankhamun and his tomb have served as symbols of the excitement of discovery, the mystery of ancient Egypt, the power of perseverance, and the achievements of modern archaeology. The beauty of the objects discovered within the tomb-and the thrilling story of its discovery-still enthrall millions of people around the world. Now, The Discovery of King Tut presents this fascinating subject in an entirely new way. Using media and objects, the exhibition reconstructs the magnificent burial site down to the finest detail, creating an immersive experience that sets new standards in museology.
With the 2022 centenary of Howard Carter’s momentous discovery fast approaching, there has never been a better time to revisit the story of Tutankhamun.

    TRANSCRIPT
It took three months for Carter and his team to clear out this chamber. These two figures standing guard indicated where the entrance to the burial chamber must be. So on February 17, 1923, Carter began tearing down the wall that separated the chamber from the mummy of the pharaoh.
When the opening was large enough, Carter was able to peek through and spy a wall of gold. This later turned out to be a golden shrine. Between the shrine and the chamber walls, there was just enough room to squeeze through. When Carter opened the doors of the first shrine, there was a second shrine inside, and inside of that a third shrine, and inside of that yet another. But inside the doors of the fourth shrine, there lay a stone sarcophagus.
Inside, they found a heavy, stunningly guided coffin, and it turned out that it concealed two more coffins. The innermost coffin weighed about 225 pounds and was made of solid gold. It was here that the king's mummy had been laid to rest.
The third chamber was the treasury. Here we're able to see what's inside. Like a silent guardian, the black, jackal-headed god Anubis sits atop a guided shrine mounted on a sledge and keeps watch over the treasury of Kin Tutankhamun, a duty he performed very well for over 3,000 years.

Now consider this: this was one of the worst tombs for a pharaoh, wasn't even intended for him, and is widely considered a rush job because of how the tomb was arranged, how poorly it was painted, and how he died at a very young age (possibly unexpectedly). Imagine finding an intact tomb of a pharaoh that wasn't a rush job.

Not only was it a rush job but King Tutankhamen wasn't a very important or powerful king. It is mind boggling to think what must have been buried in an important King's tomb that e died of old age..

It's fascinating all the history we are only uncovering now in the modern era. Who would have believed such things existed. I mean people even though Moses and the Exodus was fable till the massive discovery of dozens of sites of the Exodus around a decade ago. It's crazy even after all this time we are still finding all this stuff in the middle east.

@@yessir7147 I wouldn't. The facts point to it happening given the dozens of archeological sites on the other side of the red sea of Israel establishing the crossing did happen. We also have lydar imaging showing an underwater land bridge in the red sea connecting both sides and at the exact location where Israel would have had to have entered the Red Sea because of the lack of other openings in the mountains giving access to the coast. You can image search red sea land bridge to see it for yourself. Same with the dozens of sites I mentioned on video here on youtube. It's logically absurd to think the God that had created the universe can't feed an event into said universe(miracle). You assume it's a closed system?

@@zyourzgrandzmaz Nah, the farther we get away from this ancient history paradoxically the more we know about it. Case in point the KJV bible was based on 6 early manuscripts, then around 300 years later the revised version was based on around 2000 manuscripts.

    ALPHA & OMEGA
"To those who ask me: "Jesimiel, do you want to join our organization?" I reply: "Although I admire the work that many people do behind close doors, I have to take a "more radical" approach to world change, because at its current course and state of socioeconomic disparities and worldwide injustices, things are only headed one way: "COMPLETE" HUMAN EXTINCTION!" Do you know how many intelligent and talented professionals, and other geniuses without formal education there are in the world, in every country! But, human selfishness and its inability to brake free from long-held dysfunctional cultural, religious, and political stereotypes, customes, "laws", and preferences, to mention just a few, keep human beings both from evolving at an individual and spiritual scale, and also from reaching universal status at a much faster rate. Because human beings do have the potential, but, evil has a lot of potential too, and evil loves its children and its creations too, so even the definitions and concepts of "love" itself is not enough; but there needs to also be the right "intent", the right approach, the right path, and the right inner and universal light guiding those higher forms of human ideals and ways of living, of "existential value", for "ALL HUMANS", and not for some fortunate few. Professionals or smart people, or spiritually aware individuals all over the world are not naive, they see how the United States, China, and other world powers increase the value of national currencies to give its citizens a financial advantage, even if it means that a vast number of other countries, societies, and human beings suffer from the socio-economic injustices that keep some countries wealthy, or makes them richer, while the poor face international injustice, and as a double jeopardy of unfairness, also the national and local corruption of their political and private business sectors. Thus, there is a dangerous inverse relationship in international affairs where while the richer countries get richer exponentially, the poorer get poorer in the opposite direction. However, I say "richer" lightly, and as it pertains to "human ignorance", and how governments keep their citizens "ignorant" in what benefits them to "save-face", because the USA with all its wealth, has "TRILLIONS" of dollars in external debt to other countries! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? Thus, I postulate and bring into action the very things that I am doing with Heaven Corporation and the like, even if I have to go against the dysfunctional human currents that continue perpetuating human suffering and unfair socioeconomic disparities, because Heaven/God knows that if nothing is done soon enough, there will be no more a usable or livable planet Earth, or Human Beings to tell the story, or any other universal species to want to allow your human evil and dysfunctions into their well-balanced existential and social systems.
THUS, CHANGE, & AND DO IT QUICKLY! BECAUSE GOD IS COMING TO DO JUSTICE TO ALL HUMANS QUICKLY, AND THE REWARD IS WITH HIM!"

No, many of the items discovered in King Tutankhamun's tomb had never been seen before by people in 1922/1923. You have to remember that prior to the discovery of this tomb every other tomb of a Pharoh had been broken into by grave robbers at one point after the tomb was originally sealed so until this discovery by Howard Carter Egyptologists could only speculate on what would have been placed into the tomb for the use of the occupant in the after life.

Just like Columbus "discovered" America right? No, there were people already here. Just like those tombs, they belong to someone, it shouldn't be up for debate, would you like for someone to exhume your mother grave bc they heard there are potential treasures? No, if it doesn't belong to you. Stay away.

No because we know how it was made. Gold is an incredibly soft, easy to manipulate and transform into items that humans whish to make it into. Gold and other softer metals with lower melting points have been made into objects by and for humans for thousands of years before King Tutankhamun's death. Over that long of a period goldsmiths had become extremely talanted and the most experienced, most qualified, most skilled would be preparing these sacred items for Pharoh and his journey and use.
