Shiryuu was drawn amongst the number 2s on a cover page. A lot of number 2s from certain crews were drawn. Shiryuu has not proven to be stronger than Aokiji yet to be no 2 yet.

It was very interesting to see how a Rumble Ball affects a Mink, but I feel we still need to see how it affects another Zoan user. Also, I can see Chopper supplying an army of Minks with Rumble Balls for the big final battle.

Yeah that makes too much sense. I do still think Aokiji is in deep cover and itd be terrible for his cover if Koby escapes. So the only way to get Koby out of this situation while maintaining his cover will be to obtain an even better captive. Which would be Garp. Though I do admit I went from being absolutely sure Kuzan was undercover and with Sword to only being about 70% sure. If he did join Blackbeard because their interests aligned he may still be working for Justice in his own way but completely separated from the Marines. Even Sword. So he is on Blackbeards Crew even if he doesnt agree with him on everything. Because like Blackbeard said, that doesnt matter.

What if Scopper tried recruiting/helping Ace when Ace first started making a name for himself, but Ace reacted violently when he heard Roger's name and that's how Scopper gets his flame marks, AND it would explain why Reyleigh never reached out since Scopper would have told him about Ace's attitude

Kaido probably has super human healing that is further boosted by his devil fruit, or at the very least he is granted healing by his Devil Fruit. Plus flames make scars far easier than blades, and it's unlikely that Scopper has a physique comparable to Kaido.
Why does everyone seems to forget that Nekomamoshi and Inuarashi are the 3rd Roger Pirates the Strawhats run into and they also gave the Strawhats their first Road Poneglyph and they were also the preparations for the Yonko Arc. Crocus to prepare them for the Grandline Reighley to prepare them for the New World and Nekomamoshi and Inuarashi to prepare them for the Yonkos.
Bepo could be on his way to back to Wano or Zou. Those 2 countries may be primarily allied with the straw hat but they also have enough reason to support the heart pirates as well. Law being a big reason why Wano is a free land/ being close to Kinemon as well as being the hilariously serendipitous reason Kinemon is still alive. And Bepo being a mink.

Scopper being the Burn Scar makes the most sense to me. It was first revealed in the Roger / Oden flashback that the “last” red ponegliff was on Fish-Man island, so I always thought one of them would’ve went back and gotten it. Initially I thought it would’ve been Shanks but it’s looking like that’s not the case. Everything else you mentioned about him I completely agree with. A roger pirate has played a MAJOR role everytime something big happens in the story.

He already knows something, that’s why he created the revolutionary army to begin with so why care who becomes the Pirate King. Also make no sense in the story as well. I got an idea for a theory, what if Rocks D Xebec is living on Black Beard's Body, and that would explain why teach knows so much about DFruits and what are the necessary steps to get to the one piece, because someone who was close to conquer the world of one piece, for some reason enter the body/mind of someone young before dying.
Where is the proof that Oda changed at the last second that Yamato was not going to join the SH? I think Oda planned everything from the beginning of Onigashima. He knew that One piece is a weekly release series and he took advantage of this to just troll the fans.

If you look closely at blackbeard's beard during the kuzan flashback, in a few pages you can see that his beard has only two knots, while in the present he always has three knots. I think that means he already has consumed a third devil fruit.
I didn't like that Law vs Bleackbeard was another skipped fight, an important character like Law deserved to have more of a decent fight and not to be off screened...

I think you’re right on the last minute change with no one else joining the Straw Hats making Aokiji bump up to becoming a Tenth Titanic Captain. It seems very clear with some of the writing that Yamato or Carrot were supposed to become crew members.
It does feel a bit odd that SH does not have a Logia member at all. Carrot would have been perfect had the whole yuki yuki no mi theory panned out. A novice logia would not be OP.
from the moment yamato was introduced it didnt seem like she would join, oda planted the seed of doubt early on , whenever she would ask to join luffy didnt give her a straight answer right away, luffy always called her by a nickname, something he doesnt do for other would-be strawhats. to ME, i think it was clear she would never join, same as carrot. if you look at interviews with oda's editor, he really liked carrot a lot i think he influenced oda to include her more in the manga than she was ever intended to be
Did Sawyer really forget about Vivi? Of course, she will be the 11th straw hat in the end. Why else would Oda reintroduce her in the New World? Also, in the beginning of the series Luffy said he wanted at least 10 crewmates (aside from himself). So there was never room for Yamato or Carrot to begin with.

Like, what? I personally can’t fathom how that is the conclusion that you are drawing from this situation. Oh well, I guess it is hard to let go of one’s old ideas. Although, you have to admit that Chopper going Sulong would arguably be the biggest middle finger possible against Carrot. That being said, if Chopper creating a drug that allow Minks to go Sulong Without a Full Moon present is Not a Major Hint that Carrot will make a return, then I have no idea what Oda is thinking. Taking such a hype idea as a Mink going Sulong at will and turn it into nothing but a Get Out of Jail Free Card for Law would be one of the absolute lamest decisions ever made in all of storytelling. It would be like developing a cure for Cancer and then use the container containing the formula as a paper weight. “But the Moonless Sulong Drug is useful for the Final War” The story don’t need a special drug for that. Just put in an uninterrupted Full Moon for the final battle if you want the Minks to take part in it. There has to be a better explanation for Oda’s need to put this drug in the story other than a Polar Taxi Service and a Oda Oopsie Hand Wave. Besides, if this was all the Drug is meant to be used as, why use Bepo as a showcase instead of Carrot? “But Oda made changes to the story, which means Oda wrote Carrot out of the story.” If that was the case, then he has had almost a year’s worth of chapters to put in a “Good Bye, Carrot” scene of any kind, instead of going with a scene that shows Carrot being dissatisfied with a decision for her to become the next ruler of Zou, that was Forced upon her by Inu and Neko. He put in a few quick ‘ripped off band-aid’ scenes for Yamato not joining, but decided to keep Carrot’s situation ambiguous, whilst also continuously hinting at her relevance ever since we last saw her. Finally, for anyone wondering, Yamato’s Good Bye Chapters as well as Carrot’s being forced to become Zou’s Ruler Chapters all happened After the 1 Month Story Altering Break.

I think automatically assuming the crews are going to have traditional 1v1s is your biggest mistake. BB pirates fight in pairs and arnt shy about unfairly overwhelming or tricking strong enemies. I think it's more likely we get group battles.
I don’t know why people haven’t though Yamato and Aokiji would be a final BB pirate matchup. Ice type vs ice type combatant would be a pretty interesting matchup.

Yes! It is! It is with Scopper Gabban and it's fitting seeing as how it's the final poneglyph required to discover the path to Laughtale and its with the navigator of the king of pirate's, the first crew to conquer the Grand line and set foot on that island in 800 years. If its with Scopper that'd be so awesome! Even more so if the whirlpools that sink the ship is a wicked DF skill (unlikely) or some kind of haki attack 🔥😁 and we've already seen that powerful individuals are fully capable of sinking ships by themselves using haki attacks.
Good theories though few things I wanna point out: 1. Looking similar to a previous character doesn't mean they came from the same background (Grus and Rosinante) 2. Oda doesn't need to match 1v1 strawhats and bb pirates. He can do whatever he wants at the end, which doesn't necessarily mean he did a last minute change at the end of Wano 3. Scopper being the Man Marked w/ Flames is surely an interesting theory, however, the part where the egg houses a creature that can create whirlpools is a bit of a stretch, but not saying its outside the realm of possibility. We don't even have a clue on what's inside the egg. Just sayin that it takes a lot of effort to do it that way than sticking with, lets say Dragon.
Actually oda does have to match 1v1 with bbs crew. If bb is going to be the final pirate threat and is the foil to Luffy. It's reason to believe that they would have similar structures which they clearly do. Your third point just sounds like you want it to be dragon. We only ever see him on an island in current time never on his boat that we already saw in the asl arc. Meaning that he most likely is stationed primarily at head quarters. It's not much of a reach being scopper because we haven't seen or heard about him in current time. And it's not to far out there thinking the egg became a pet/friend like how laboon is to brook. Like at some point we have to find out what it is. Also wouldn't black beard have noticed dragons ship when he attack him?

Dragon theory, just stating it as an example because he already almost checks the reqs to be that "Fire Marked Man." compared to the Scopper theory, where him making a comeback is still a theory yet a theory's made atop of it. What are the chances that it is a pet + the chances of it knowing how to create whirlpools + the chances of it even being tamed OR is it even an egg in the first place and not just a decoration? Luck is a big factor in getting to the top, look at blackbeard and buggy. Its strongly hinted roger needed plenty of luck too with the edd war flashback

My theory is that both Kuzan and BB are playing each other and that there is an actual 10th titanic captain, namely Urouge. I don’t think Oda changed anything due to Carrot or Yamato not joining, and Yamato could join later on to fight Kuzan.
I think that Nami and Robin got excluded from the color spread cuz the other sleeping symbolize being knocked out by Sanji’s CoC, if Nami and Robin were sleeping in the cover, it would imply Sanji knocked them out, and that would technically be him hurting women.

I really like the theory that Gabban is the burned man, and that the black ship is the Oro Jackson and the egg creature is causing the whirlpools. A lot of people seem almost convinced that it's Dragon, but I'd find that pretty disappointing. It's not like Dragon is an unknown face in the world. Probably everybody knows him from his wanted poster, since his bounty might be the highest in the world, so it wouldn't make sense for his existance to be a rumor that only a few people know about.

We know that observation haki works best if you're calm so Koby's usage of it could have been limited in this chapter. And I was never convinced that Yamato would join the crew because something felt lacking here. The same is true for Carrot - because a perfect straw hat candidate would be both combined. Not that I haven't my own pet theory candidate which would surprise most of the community.
I loved that exchange between blackbeards crew in the bar. Always love to see crews dynamics and interactions. Really feels human.

Kaido probably has super human healing that is further boosted by his devil fruit, or at the very least he is granted healing by his Devil Fruit. Plus flames make scars far easier than blades, and it's unlikely that Scopper has a physique comparable to Kaido.
Why does everyone seems to forget that Nekomamoshi and Inuarashi are the 3rd Roger Pirates the Strawhats run into and they also gave the Strawhats their first Road Poneglyph and they were also the preparations for the Yonko Arc.

Bepo could be on his way to back to Wano or Zou. Those 2 countries may be primarily allied with the straw hat but they also have enough reason to support the heart pirates as well. Law being a big reason why Wano is a free land/ being close to Kinemon as well as being the hilariously serendipitous reason Kinemon is still alive. And Bepo being a mink.

Scopper being the Burn Scar makes the most sense to me. It was first revealed in the Roger / Oden flashback that the “last” red ponegliff was on Fish-Man island, so I always thought one of them would’ve went back and gotten it. Initially I thought it would’ve been Shanks but it’s looking like that’s not the case. Everything else you mentioned about him I completely agree with. A roger pirate has played a MAJOR role everytime something big happens in the story.

So to suddenly have Dragon be like “Hey, I have a ponegliff. I got an idea for a theory, what if Rocks D Xebec is living on Black Beard's Body, and that would explain why teach knows so much about DFruits and what are the necessary steps to get to the one piece, because someone who was close to conquer the world of one piece, for some reason enter the body/mind of someone young before dying.
Where is the proof that Oda changed at the last second that Yamato was not going to join the SH?
I think Oda planned everything from the beginning of Onigashima. He knew that One piece is a weekly release series and he took advantage of this to just troll the fans.

If you look closely at blackbeard's beard during the kuzan flashback, in a few pages you can see that his beard has only two knots, while in the present he always has three knots. I think that means he already has consumed a third devil fruit.

I think you’re right on the last minute change with no one else joining the Straw Hats making Aokiji bump up to becoming a Tenth Titanic Captain. It seems very clear with some of the writing that Yamato or Carrot were supposed to become crew members.
It does feel a bit odd that SH does not have a Logia member at all. Carrot would have been perfect had the whole yuki yuki no mi theory panned out. A novice logia would not be OP.
Yamato was already accepted into the crew. It’s just a matter of time before she officially joins which she most likely will before the final war.
from the moment yamato was introduced it didnt seem like she would join, oda planted the seed of doubt early on , whenever she would ask to join luffy didnt give her a straight answer right away, luffy always called her by a nickname, something he doesnt do for other would-be strawhats. to ME, i think it was clear she would never join, same as carrot. if you look at interviews with oda's editor, he really liked carrot a lot i think he influenced oda to include her more in the manga than she was ever intended to be
Did Sawyer really forget about Vivi? Of course, she will be the 11th straw hat in the end. Why else would Oda reintroduce her in the New World? Also, in the beginning of the series Luffy said he wanted at least 10 crewmates (aside from himself). So there was never room for Yamato or Carrot to begin with.

That being said, if Chopper creating a drug that allow Minks to go Sulong Without a Full Moon present is Not a Major Hint that Carrot will make a return, then I have no idea what Oda is thinking. Taking such a hype idea as a Mink going Sulong at will and turn it into nothing but a Get Out of Jail Free Card for Law would be one of the absolute lamest decisions ever made in all of storytelling.
It would be like developing a cure for Cancer and then use the container containing the formula as a paper weight.

The story don’t need a special drug for that. Just put in an uninterrupted Full Moon for the final battle if you want the Minks to take part in it.
There has to be a better explanation for Oda’s need to put this drug in the story other than a Polar Taxi Service and a Oda Oopsie Hand Wave.
Besides, if this was all the Drug is meant to be used as, why use Bepo as a showcase instead of Carrot?

If that was the case, then he has had almost a year’s worth of chapters to put in a “Good Bye, Carrot” scene of any kind, instead of going with a scene that shows Carrot being dissatisfied with a decision for her to become the next ruler of Zou, that was Forced upon her by Inu and Neko.
He put in a few quick ‘ripped off band-aid’ scenes for Yamato not joining, but decided to keep Carrot’s situation ambiguous, whilst also continuously hinting at her relevance ever since we last saw her.
Finally, for anyone wondering, Yamato’s Good Bye Chapters as well as Carrot’s being forced to become Zou’s Ruler Chapters all happened After the 1 Month Story Altering Break.

I think automatically assuming the crews are going to have traditional 1v1s is your biggest mistake.
BB pirates fight in pairs and arnt shy about unfairly overwhelming or tricking strong enemies. I think it's more likely we get group battles.

This is so much in Garp's character to do. Scolding your old pupil in that kind of situation, is really cool and sad.
Yes! It is! It is with Scopper Gabban and it's fitting seeing as how it's the final poneglyph required to discover the path to Laughtale and its with the navigator of the king of pirate's, the first crew to conquer the Grand line and set foot on that island in 800 years. If its with Scopper that'd be so awesome! Even more so if the whirlpools that sink the ship is a wicked DF skill (unlikely) or some kind of haki attack 🔥😁 and we've already seen that powerful individuals are fully capable of sinking ships by themselves using haki attacks.
Good theories though few things I wanna point out:
1. Looking similar to a previous character doesn't mean they came from the same background (Grus and Rosinante)
2. Oda doesn't need to match 1v1 strawhats and bb pirates. He can do whatever he wants at the end, which doesn't necessarily mean he did a last minute change at the end of Wano
3. Scopper being the Man Marked w/ Flames is surely an interesting theory, however, the part where the egg houses a creature that can create whirlpools is a bit of a stretch, but not saying its outside the realm of possibility. We don't even have a clue on what's inside the egg. Just sayin that it takes a lot of effort to do it that way than sticking with, lets say Dragon.
Actually oda does have to match 1v1 with bbs crew. If bb is going to be the final pirate threat and is the foil to Luffy. It's reason to believe that they would have similar structures which they clearly do.
Your third point just sounds like you want it to be dragon. We only ever see him on an island in current time never on his boat that we already saw in the asl arc. Meaning that he most likely is stationed primarily at head quarters. It's not much of a reach being scopper because we haven't seen or heard about him in current time. And it's not to far out there thinking the egg became a pet/friend like how laboon is to brook. Like at some point we have to find out what it is. Also wouldn't black beard have noticed dragons ship when he attack him?

3rd theory: Not vouching the Monkey D. Dragon theory, just stating it as an example because he already almost checks the reqs to be that "Fire Marked Man." compared to the Scopper theory, where him making a comeback is still a theory yet a theory's made atop of it. And yes, I agree it is possible that the egg can be a pet, but you also have to consider the idea that it might not. What are the chances that it is a pet + the chances of it knowing how to create whirlpools + the chances of it even being tamed OR is it even an egg in the first place and not just a decoration? We don't really know. Heck, Oda might not even reveal what that egg is for.

Honestly, The Strawhats had such Handicaps in their favor that their journey was Easier than Heart Pirates or Kidd Pirates.
Luck is a big factor in getting to the top, look at blackbeard and buggy. Its strongly hinted roger needed plenty of luck too with the edd war flashback

My theory is that both Kuzan and BB are playing each other and that there is an actual 10th titanic captain, namely Urouge. I don’t think Oda changed anything due to Carrot or Yamato not joining, and Yamato could join later on to fight Kuzan.

I really like the theory that Gabban is the burned man, and that the black ship is the Oro Jackson and the egg creature is causing the whirlpools. A lot of people seem almost convinced that it's Dragon, but I'd find that pretty disappointing. It's not like Dragon is an unknown face in the world. Probably everybody knows him from his wanted poster, since his bounty might be the highest in the world, so it wouldn't make sense for his existance to be a rumor that only a few people know about.

We know that observation haki works best if you're calm so Koby's usage of it could have been limited in this chapter. And I was never convinced that Yamato would join the crew because something felt lacking here. The same is true for Carrot - because a perfect straw hat candidate would be both combined. Not that I haven't my own pet theory candidate which would surprise most of the community.
