Yes, Chris Noth was in Criminal Intent from 2005 until 2008, Dann Florek was on SVU from the series premiere in 1999 to season 15 in 2015, when his character, Donald Cragen, officially retired from the NYPD. Fred Thompson and Jerry Orbach both appeared together in Trial By Jury, but Orbach died in December 2004, after appearing in the first two episodes.
RIP Paul Sorvino (1939-2022), Jerry Orbach (1935-2004), Dennis Farina (1944-2013), Fred Thompson (1942-2015), and Steven Hill (1922-2016)

My favorite seasons of Law & Order are the first four (Greevey, Cerreta, Briscoe, Logan, Curtis, Cragen and Van Buren). Each of those seasons saw a major change in the main cast. After Greevey is murdered, Cerreta takes his place. Then after Cerreta gets shot and nearly killed, Briscoe steps in as Logan's partner. Logan is sent to Staten Island after assaulting a homophobic politician, which allows for Curtis to step in as Briscoe's new partner. Then Cragen leaves to join the Anti-Corruption Task Force (then later the Special Victims Unit), Van Buren becomes the new head detective in the 2-7.
Thanks for doing this, I enjoy rewatching it. I will be the nitpicker and say, you forgot the first half of season 18, before Jeremy Sisto was lead detective.

Mehcad Brooks is now part of the Law & Order cast starting with season 22 as Detective Jalen Shaw, and has been there ever since. Reid Scott and Maura Tierney are also new to L&O as Detective Vincent Riley and Lieutenant Jessica Brady, respectively. Detective Riley replaces Detective Frank Cosgrove (Jeffrey Donovan), and Lt. Brady replaced Lt. Kate Dixon (Camryn Manheim).
1:47 is my favorite part of the old Law & Order intro: the tan Dodge Diplomat driving down the street with a red rotating light 🚨 on the dash and what sounds like a tornado warning siren in the background. I wish they could have done something similar for the season 21 revival, like a black Dodge Charger with red and blue flashing lights in the grill and above the dashboard, and the same siren sound in the background.
