@E Spock okay read my comment again I never said that fans didn't like her and I never even mentioned her I just said I didn't like the episodes when she was gone...LEARN TO READ BEFORE YOU COMMENT BECAUSE YOU LOOK STUPID
Marcia Gay Harden's reveal as an FBI agent still shocks me to this day. It looked like she had just saved the racist guy, it looked like she was going to help that group get away with everything, and then, out of nowhere, she saves Elliot and reveals herself as a fed.
I also loved the one where Olivia had to save Melinda after she got shot or the one where Stucky kills O'Halloran. Those were great shocking moments! (Also where Liv got kidnapped, obviously.)
YESSSSSS!!!!!! THE KILLER M.E. !!!!! *THAT* was good. It cribbed a bit from Thomas Harris, but damn.. They really made you feel like that was real. my favorites tend to be about motivation, empathy, compassion, protection, of ALL! Like, the one where the guy (Larry? Balki? 😬 a different episode??) was a surgeon who was cutting off women's legs. The dialogue was a bit sloppy, but watching Benson & Rollins empathize with.. (was it the guy who played Cousin Balki on "Perfect Strangers" 😬) the suspect was very well done. Sorry, i'd rather watch that, than Stabler beat it out of a guy.
KING TEE Definitely one of the best. Carl Rudnick and Gregory Yates were two of the best characters. Dallas Roberts playing Yates was fascinating to watch.
@@alysiamerdavid-wasser9165 Are you talking about the one where he blamed his amputee fetish on his dentist brother who was gay? Can't remember character name but perp was played by Steve from Sex and the City.
IMO, one of the most shocking scenes (and the ones that still stick in my head to this day) is the scene where the wife said she was raped then took it back, so they hid in the staircase to see if he did anything and then he stabbed her with a kitchen knife through the heart, then plot twist the old lady from the other connecting apartment ended up being on the run from her husband because he was abusive so she shot him in the head repeatedly... There’s also the episode where Melinda gets shot by that lady in the morgue when she went to see her son, or when Stucky went fkn mental in Zebra (honestly one of the best episodes in the entire show)
- Stuckey killing O'Halloran in "Zebras" was definitely shocking. Stuckey's character was a bit 'spacy' & off-centre at times( like when he actually got excited over the discovery of an infant found buried and Stabler angrily said to him 'What the hell is the matter with you?!" because Stuckey was way too excited and hyper for a rather sombre and tragic discovery ), but few could've imagined he'd snap in "Zebras" and murder 3 people....out of revenge for being called out publicly in court for mishandling evidence that forced them to release a suspect charged with murder.
@@ckendall67 It's funny. Watching the show so much makes you realize all the signs he showed ° he was often over excited for generally morbid findings when others were professional or shaken, like when he was happy finding a corpse and even called the media to try to suck up to the detectives. Only one example of his sociopathy °the first thing he mentions when introduced is how he's going to make it big someday, suggesting he mainly cares about himself and not others °he was constantly insulted by everyone from the detectives (stabler mostly) to his fellow CSU (O'halloren) and when he actually messed up, it gave all their claims meaning and increased the level of insults at him, causing a final snap In hindsight it was so obvious, yet I thought they'd reveal that he didn't make any mistake and it some grander scheme
Elliott was a badass; he has the guts to do almost anything to get justice to all the victims. He developed a deep connection with Olivia, and trust me he's the best partner for her. He's a man who will doing everything in his power to protect his family from the disgusting parts of New York. #BringBackStabler.
ELLIOT IS RETURNING NEXT SEASON. Chris Meloni is gonna resume his role as Stabler in a spinoff. Will be on season 22 premiere, and crossovers are very likely.
I actually did that once fighting a ticket. The judge did NOT laugh, but I could tell he wanted to. Anyway, my boss paid my ticket just for actually trying.
S11 E2: Sugar Also a HUGE shocker in the end. A girl buries a pair of scissors into her dad's throat when he thinks she just wanted a hug. The dad was Eric Mccormack (Will from "Will and Grace")
During the courtroom shootout I don't know what was more shocking, the shootout itself coming out of the blue or Marcia Gay Hayden saying that she was a federal agent.
Damn, I really miss Stabler. I actually stopped watching after his character left. I'm sure it's still a great show, as Mariska is a fantastic actress as Benson, but still. I miss him.
Rane A. i thought that too.. i only watched Season 13-20 because it was the only few season available on Netflix... i fell in love with Amaro, Rollins, Sonny, and Barbar... i decided to watch from Season 1-13... heck i was missing out, the show isn’t the same without Elliot but.... Mariska is still doing wonders for this show 💜
So glad Stabler is getting his own show, I hope that him and Olivia meet up and work together often. Just can't wait! Although I wish he would just come back to SVU, him getting his own spin-off is more than enough.
That ep made me sick, the parents really screwed him up on the doctor's so called 'advice' heck I think when the nanny noticed the scars below she should've called the police
If you watch seasons 1-12 and then 13-21 it's feels like you're watching two different shows sometimes. It's crazy how character changes, adds and the political atmosphere can shift the whole thing.
honestly, when stuckey ended up being evil, that shocked me. like i thought he was inexperienced and young and thats why he seemed weird to me but ended killing o'halloran, DAMN SIS
TWO I wish were on here. The CRAZIEST was the murder/suicide at the end of the "Trade" episode when the jumper pulled the guy she loved off the roof when he was trying to talk her down. The other was when poor Amanda found out it was her bullet that killed a girl being held hostage. That one almost had me crying.
The double standard of the guy who set up Liv for murder is beyond ridiculous he’s ready to kill and take revenge for being raped in prison but still has no remorse for what he did and truly thought it was a set up and just usually a known fact that SO usually do get the same treatment in prison
It's interesting that it's not until confronted that Benson really stops and thinks about the fact that rape is a known and accepted part of the prison system. The reality of just how messed up it is that she has used the implied threat of rape to flip people, while she's also a detective with the SVU.
My old account with the comment. I meant that when fellow SVU police are talking. "Benson, you and Stabler do this. Munch, you and Cassidy do that..." Dont remember anyone calling him just Tutuola. Its like That 70's Show in a way. Everyone uses same names except Jackie. To her, Hyde is Steven. Kelso is Michael. Forman is Eric.
@@clevelandbci9562 I just watched an episode called "odio" (hate in Spanish, I watched in Spanish) where an American borders two Arabs because he thinks they shouldn't live there, when they're interviewing the murderer, Stabler presents him as the dedective *Tutuola*. I don't know if it's only in Spanish, but maybe it isn't a thing of dubbing and in English (original) be the same.
It's funny at the beginning when after all the shooting takes places, all the bailiffs pop out of nowhere and then tell everyone to drop their weapons.
@@lindseymcdougall3603 No sweat. S13 E3 "Blood Brothers" is the episode. 2nd time Kyle Maclachlan has a starring guest role. 1st was when he played a psychiatrist that shot the kid who murdered his son. Both were very good episodes btw.

The saddest part is...svu is basea on real cases, that means that, while know an intact hymen is not a proof of anything. Back when the episode in this compilation aires , it was. And who knows how many rapist got away with it because of that detail.
The episode where the father and son ran a coffee business and the son's friend who had a crush on him didn't want the father having power over the son, so she was going to jump off the roof. The son talks her down and then they embrace and she says to the father "you can't have him" and throws both of them off the roof to their deaths.
I gotta say the most shocking moment for me personally was when that ex-con, who had PTSD from years of solitary confinement, threw Stabler off a building. It was late enough in the series and there were enough popular characters by this point that I genuinely thought Elliot died.
Farewell Elliot Stabler and John Munch. To me you were both the best on the force and your characters always spoke to me. I vow never to watch any episodes unless you are in them.
As a bit of a note: an intact hymen does not guarantee virginity, rarely it can reform just like any other part of your skin, especially when you're younger. It can also break from a lot more than having sex, hitting a bad bump while riding a bike can do it for example, all it needs to do is cause enough pressure to tear it. The thing to take away from this is virginity is never something that should be used as evidence.
Yeah, to be fair, that episode was 2001. In one of the latest season they have a pregnant woman with an intact hymen. Makes sense, this show is based in real cases and even if they change stuff , they try to be as realistic as posible , so the info they give matches the info that people had ans believed in the moment of each episode
Stabler getting shot isn't at all shocking. Almost every episode, he gets shot, beaten, stabbed, not to mention that one time where he was pushed off a building and that time he had his head smashed in on a car window.
Liam Roberts The shock in that episode was when the star witness for the defense flipped and revealed herself to be an FBI plant. Marcia Gay Harding with her bad self.🙌🏽
IMO one of the most shocking moments was the ending of "Signature" (season 9, episode 12). I kinda saw it coming but I wasn't prepared for Liv's reaction... and kudos to Erika Christensen.

I just watched the episode where that FBI agent kills herself in front of Olivia and Chester, and Olivia screams and cries afterwards. Gave me chills, should’ve seen it coming.
I remember us watching the episode “Raw” for the first time....we were so shocked/excited to hear Star’s real name cuz my mom’s name is Dana Lewis! Haha
EXACTLY. His character got tiresome to me his first season. Constantly a pain and pest, especially to Olivia. She had to scold him like a dozen puppies any time he faced resistance or rejection.
@@clevelandbci9562 let's be real here Olivia was always better than stabler as a cop/detective and as a character and as a person and I like Olivia more she is way more likeable and her personality is better but for some reason a lot of people don't see that sadly.
The first scene is from one of my personal favorite episodes of the series, for it’s insane moments, but this one especially hits hard, I mean court room shooting, my jaw was on the floor when I saw this.
I think the more shocking revelation of the first episode shown here (Season 6, Episode 7: RAW) was that the adoptive parents of the murdered kid hired the Neo Nazi group to kill the kid for the money they would get from life-insurance policies that they took out on him, not that Dana Lewis (aka “Star Morrison” in this episode) was an undercover FBI Agent.
Like how she invoked the 5th immediately as she was asked her name. She was undercover, giving her real name would've blown her cover, giving her assumed name and she'd be committing perjury.
The plot twist in the episode where Stucky the Tech planted all of the evidence and then killed all those people and then shot Elliott... Ohhhh... I was heated!
I've been watching the show backwards from season to season (don't ask) so when I saw the "racist" woman, Star Morrison, I knew she was undercover. But the shooting was still a shocker.
When they found out that the lead medical examiner was also a serial killer who liked to dress as a woman.... that was shocking.

Howard yes you are right she left in season 8 because she was pregnant if you watch the episode infiltrated you can actually see her belly at a couple times but they make it in the episode where she goes undercover with the group in Oregon and they have detective beck come in and fill in for her and then Olivia comes back and one episode to say that she still is going to stay away for a while and then her episode where she comes back is called choreographed I really don't like any of the episode when she leaves it's just not the same
@E Spock okay read my comment again I never said that fans didn't like her and I never even mentioned her I just said I didn't like the episodes when she was gone...LEARN TO READ BEFORE YOU COMMENT BECAUSE YOU LOOK STUPID
Love SVU along with NCIS and Blue Bloods. My favorites.
@E Spock why can't anyone appreciate Olivia?
@@parismahone3749 Right she used to be the most lovable character at first oh well luckily I still do😍
How did they get all those guns into Court?
The older guy posed as a polive officer and didn't have to go through scanning. He provided the kid with the gun
Maybe it's because I'm English but I feel that any old Police Officer shouldn't bring guns into Court either.@@luzraul8745
Shanster Goodheart right?!?!
Please which of the seasons and which episode is this? I need to rewatch it.
Adebunmi Adeyemi season 7, episode 6
Marcia Gay Harden's reveal as an FBI agent still shocks me to this day. It looked like she had just saved the racist guy, it looked like she was going to help that group get away with everything, and then, out of nowhere, she saves Elliot and reveals herself as a fed.
All while hiding the fact she was a murderer. That one really messed me up.
I also loved the one where Olivia had to save Melinda after she got shot or the one where Stucky kills O'Halloran. Those were great shocking moments! (Also where Liv got kidnapped, obviously.)
Nah she's always kidnapped, held hostage etc etc
Yes I cried then I love her
Those two episodes are some of my favorites!
I hated that they killed OHalloran, thought he was a terrific character
I know this comment is from 4 years ago but what episode is that from??

Marcia Gay Harden is such an underrated actress. She's pretty much brilliant in every role she's ever played.
Her character turned evil though which was weird
@@rayray6490 Yeah that was weird. The last episode she was in was just silly. I think they just really wanted her back on the show.

The best one was the cross over with Chicago PD. Greg Yates and the ME Carl Rudnick
Dallas Roberts was very good as a serial killer, that 2nd chicago pd crossover when Yates and Rudnick escape was fantastic
There’s also the episode where Melinda gets shot by that lady in the morgue when she went to see her son, or when Stucky went fkn mental in Zebra (honestly one of the best episodes in the entire show)
Crystal Ella season 10 had a lot of goodies
- Stuckey killing O'Halloran in "Zebras" was definitely shocking. Stuckey's character was a bit 'spacy' & off-centre at times( like when he actually got excited over the discovery of an infant found buried and Stabler angrily said to him 'What the hell is the matter with you?!" because Stuckey was way too excited and hyper for a rather sombre and tragic discovery ), but few could've imagined he'd snap in "Zebras" and murder 3 people....out of revenge for being called out publicly in court for mishandling evidence that forced them to release a suspect charged with murder.
@@ckendall67
It's funny. Watching the show so much makes you realize all the signs he showed
° he was often over excited for generally morbid findings when others were professional or shaken, like when he was happy finding a corpse and even called the media to try to suck up to the detectives. Only one example of his sociopathy
°the first thing he mentions when introduced is how he's going to make it big someday, suggesting he mainly cares about himself and not others
°he was constantly insulted by everyone from the detectives (stabler mostly) to his fellow CSU (O'halloren) and when he actually messed up, it gave all their claims meaning and increased the level of insults at him, causing a final snap
In hindsight it was so obvious, yet I thought they'd reveal that he didn't make any mistake and it some grander scheme
I'm too lazy to look it up, but that first episode you mentioned had Clea Duval [sp?] as the wife. She plays a really good victim, for some reason.
Ya!
Someone needs to make a 30min or hr long video of shocking SVU moments.
Agreed
What about that episode when the medical examiner held elliott hostage and olivia had to save him. That was amazing

ELLIOT IS RETURNING NEXT SEASON. Chris Meloni is gonna resume his role as Stabler in a spinoff. Will be on season 22 premiere, and crossovers are very likely.

The show has been going downhill fast the last few years. Stabler left when it was at its peak.
Dont listen to Inyuyasha...show is still great.
Yah, Liv gets a ton of screen time, but the rest of the team is still top notch as well...

The have a good cast but the plots are trash and writing is lazy. Olivia is so annoying now. Her and Stabler use to balance each other out now

Mariska is still doing wonders for this show 💜
So glad Stabler is getting his own show, I hope that him and Olivia meet up and work together often. Just can't wait! Although I wish he would just come back to SVU, him getting his own spin-off is more than enough.

TWO I wish were on here. The CRAZIEST was the murder/suicide at the end of the "Trade" episode when the jumper pulled the guy she loved off the roof when he was trying to talk her down.

In 20 years, has anyone ever referred to Fin by just his last name (Tutuola)? My kid asked me and i couldnt think of once.
Yes
I remember one instance. Dodds Sr called him Odafin Tutuola one time
My old account with the comment.
The episode where the father and son ran a coffee business and the son's friend who had a crush on him didn't want the father having power over the son, so she was going to jump off the roof. I found out later after looking into it, the episode was called "Trade."

@@marvinmoore2080 I was referring to the older ones with them in it.
@@Lily-kl1of I misunderstood too. Real life Munch older than Kragen😃
Also an intact hymen would not show anal activity, last I checked. 😓
I gotta watch these old episodes again. Some gems in there.
After all those years - this a series DEFINITELY STILL WORTH WATCHING. Big thanks for uploading - thumb up & subbed. ;)
The hymen myth... YIKES- those "tests" aren't accurate, your hymen can literally 'tear' (not break) doing something as simple as a split.
Oh yeah and that episode where it was revealed she murdered a girl years before, out of jealousy towards her ex-boyfriend, or whatever.
Liam Roberts That was such a skunk bomb of an episode. That character deserved a better send off.
Wasn’t that a different character?
No. At least I don't think so. It's been ages since I've seen that episode.
IMO one of the most shocking moments was the ending of "Signature" (season 9, episode 12). I kinda saw it coming but I wasn't prepared for Liv's reaction... and kudos to Erika Christensen.
The ripping thing is actually just a myth, the himin(I doubt I spelled that right) stretches and rarely rips or bleeds. It's actually very sad how believed this myth is, even leading to some innocent girls being honor killed.
