Do it again, without the computer, with CD's as those players were intended to be used with. This way they are just used as a controller interface. Doesn't' show the ability of those players or yours using them. Aside that, the mix was fire.
Dude I started in 1998. I was multiple winner in national dj championships. You can do crazy stuff on cdj-100 and only one thing matters - just have fun. I can do it on turntables, cdjs - no difference. Enjoy

As soon as software and computers are involved, the hardware means less or nothing as long as you can control the software reliably. As you also used another control interface, the players were almost completely excluded from being used at all. Been a DJ myself since 1985, and as I said: The mix was fire. Maybe you didn't read that far.
@@oneandonlykazoo no, CDJ-1000 Mk3 have very small dot display waveform which was always not so good. But the audio timecode signal is almost flat for the cdj - so the waveform is also flat.
First you need to check which DVS you want to use, and learn how it operates. You need timecode signal or HID interface. In this case it's timecode CDs.

Yes I do follow this project for a while. It still has some limitations like only wav support. No Mp3 etc. But let's hope it will evolve.

I think it has to be relative for the cue buttons to work on the controller
