as a viego fanboy and a lore enjoyer, I 100% agree with this so much so that when in ruination i read he was abusive i crossed out of my mind that since it makes him a stupid character and made me loose the relatability i had with him
While I agree with some points you’re making, all the characters you’ve mentioned have a twisted obsessive love to begin with. The narrative of Viego is something that’s very common in many people. Theyre grown into a world of entitlement but still never living up to what their family expectations may be, or think they’re supposed to be a in situation they’re not. This is a common foundation of abusive characters and people. Anakins love is not a healthy love, nor is Viegos, it’s certainly real love to them, but not a healthy one. Most people don’t burn the world to the ground and kill hundreds after losing their love. You essentially explained the reason why Viego is who he is, his abuse is real as it’s the n a spectrum that I think you’re missing.
