Bill caught my attention from way over on the other side of the Atlantic. His love for and detail in regards to his sport is rewarding to fishermen anywhere. Though I will never fish his waters I did value his thought and reasoning and in some cases found it valuable to apply in my situations. I will miss his calm easy fishing and the man himself.

I used to watch Bills vids & sort of identified a lot with him. I'm 67 & diagnosed with Alzhiemers + other stuff. It was truly easy fishing. Despite having served for 38 years in the fire service it more than brought a lump to my throat. Its just like not being able to see a close mate again. Thanks for paying your respect to bills efforts. Keep on the good work with your productions, even though I only pleasure fish when I can I love your stuff .. .. tight lines mate

I used to go fishing 48 years ago when I was at school, but when I started work and then married and children I had no time to go out fishing, as I was always working to pay the bills, but I started to think about taking up the sport again two years ago, Easy fishing looked to be the answer for me, it was and has been for the last two years that I have returned to the sport and I always look for the easy fishing channel on you tube, my hat is off to Bill he always managed to get to the point and in a easy manner that I understood, no expensive rods and tackle just a very easy way to learn and take on board the point Bill was passing on. wishing you well it has been a pleasure seeing you on you tube with your easy smile, thank you Bill.
Bill just has a gift at helping us realise why we started fishing in the first place. That's timeless. And his last chub was still bigger than any i've caught.......God bless.

Then I thought actually wouldn’t we all as anglers want to do exactly the same in Bills position. To see him smiling at the end holding that chub said it all . It was beautiful and brought home to me the very reason why we all go fishing . Bill Allen and his Easy Fishing videos meant a lot to me. I always enjoyed his narrative, his perspective, and we corresponded a good bit. He was that kind of guy who responded to his viewers. I learned a lot about fishing in the UK from him. It was one of the saddest moments I’ve had in a long time watching his final video. He was very courageous, and I’ll always admire him. I’ve been watching Bill’s videos for a long time. Very good equipment reviews, warts and all, general advice and his love of being out on the bank, just enjoying a day’s fishing. He is a good angler, a good video presenter and he just has a warmth about him regarding fishing that others can’t match.
Bill reignited my passion for fishing again, after a long hiatus. His relaxed style resonated with me so much and I have so much to be thankful for. Fishing has been the solace I needed during a difficult time in my life, and he reminded me how important it was to keep the tactics simple and enjoy the experience so I could get the headspace I needed. I certainly won't take it for granted that I'm able to take my kit down to the bank and enjoy a session. Thanks for this video, Jamie. Tight lines, Bill.

Absolutely loved watching Bill from a very early stage, always informative and his passion for the sport clear for everyone to see. Bill has no doubt taught a lot of people how to catch fish over the years and no doubt his content will continue to do so for many a year to come yet for those who are lucky enough to come across the channel. Very emotional watching the video, and equally can't imagine how it must have being for his son Mick given the circumstances. A true gentleman is Bill and my thoughts and prayers are with both him and his family as this incredibly sad time. God bless.

Bill reignited my passion for fishing again, after a long hiatus. His relaxed style resonated with me so much and I have so much to be thankful for. Fishing has been the solace I needed during a difficult time in my life, and he reminded me how important it was to keep the tactics simple and enjoy the experience so I could get the headspace I needed. I certainly won't take it for granted that I'm able to take my kit down to the bank and enjoy a session. Thanks for this video, Jamie. Tight lines, Bill.
What a lovely tribute to Bill. Well done Jamie. When I returned to coarse fishing after a long break Bill’s was one of the first channels I came across. I learned so much from his videos. I hope Bill will leave his channel up so that other new and returning anglers can learn from him as I did. I will watch Bill’s last video, but perhaps not tonight. Bill, if you read this message, thank you so much.

Absolutely loved watching Bill from a very early stage, always informative and his passion for the sport clear for everyone to see. Bill has no doubt taught a lot of people how to catch fish over the years and no doubt his content will continue to do so for many a year to come yet for those who are lucky enough to come across the channel.
Very emotional watching the video, and equally can't imagine how it must have being for his son Mick given the circumstances. A true gentleman is Bill and my thoughts and prayers are with both him and his family as this incredibly sad time. God bless.
