Such a better day today for lifting the spirits, just can't wait to fish again local pool closed 😪 love the vids so informative and great to watch keep up the great work tight lines 👍🎣
The photographic quality is superb really clear and colourful Jamie to someone like me who is colour blind means so much to someone who sees a different world to you and others in the cold light of day,I don't know how your equipment highlights the colour but boy it's beautiful and of course your fishing. You have the wow factor and thank You for showing this to me. X 💎
Thanks Robert that's great feed back thank you! I can't imagine what it must be like to be colour blind :( The cameras we use now are better but I do try and spend a bit more time trying to edit the footage better so I'm really glad you like the style. Stay safe mate and there are plenty more to come :)
Jamie thankyou. You did a video in nov 2019 called method feeder fishing in winter you had a camera behind you and you picked it up to show the clarity of the water! The images and colour blew me and my partner away and she's not colour blind,it was a new world to me and so clear, every tree was a different colour and not a uniformed charcoal as what I see, unfortunately you reverted back to the original camera for the duration till near the end. It's that camera that is eye opening for us 👍 can't wait till you win at Southfield and you will big time.💎
There's not much more satisfying than land a few fish that are in such beautiful condition. And add the winter colours of the mirrors, and we're going home happy. I really like those new rods. But they're not cheap. I've got a pair of aquos rods. And they're still unused, so I've got all the fun to come yet. Loving the vids. AS usual. Great that you created a video around making short clips like that. Just adds another fresh element, alternative angle to angling on film. There's a lot of varying approaches popping up on you tube now, so the competition is still tight. It's all good for us viewers, but getting ever more difficult for the video makers. Always thankful for your efforts Jamie. God bless you my friend.
Thanks Graham for taking the time to watch and give feed back it's always appreciated mate! The Aquos rods are great and I know several people using them but hopefully it won't be long until you can get out and use yours mate. There are loads of channels springing up now aren't there mate!!
If you can't be good, be lucky, or both! Cracking video, love it when you can hear the clutch clicking away as they take line. Well up to your usual standard Jamie.👍
Just watched video filmed at fleets dam .It was like a blast from the past for me cos about 20 year ago I used to fish opens twice a week sometimes 3 times. It was all method for me and used do do quite well although one or two were very handy with the pole ,Gary Holland, nick speed just to mention a few.One or two of the Barnsley lads used to say to me " ant tha gorra pole " i used to reply not a £2.500 like your lot! Had some great times there but sadly got polluted and lost a massive head of fish, then the floods cost alan again in 2008,but after watching your vid jamie it certainly looks like its on its way back.Lovely fish what you caught and also a great presentation from you explaining bait and tactics not overdoing things.well done pal keep em coming.
What great feed back thanks for sharing that Albert mate! It's been like that for years now and has a really good following as regards the open matches. It was great to see the fish waking up now :)
Brilliant video Jamie, what a magical session for February, lovely winter colouration on the carp bud, thoroughly enjoyed They gave your kit a good workout didnt they Take care Stay safe, regards to Dad and T, keep it lit.👍 my friend

It was mate i can't wait to get back on the bank i am homeschooling at the moment so your videos are keeping me up to date with the fishing but they are making me want to just go for a couple of hours bit my daughter and her school work comes first
Some lumps there Jamie, that fully scaled common was a stunner, great stuff mate. I used to fish there years ago, early 90,s, and there used to be a big bank of reeds that ran all the way from about where you were down to the car park end. Was only a 10 metre or so chuck in front of you. Looks better now👍
@@CatchFishingChannel yeah it hadn't been open very long, carp were smaller then. Used to be matches at weekends, Barnsley lads used to turn up when the trent was in flood 😀
What a session that was Jamie, enjoyed watching it. I did think that it would be a great fishing days last weekend, but unfortunately go too much stuff to do on the house! Plus the private venue that i'm a member of, is closed ,but should be open soon.
Great episode. Stand by you're box obviously...good positive bites and cracking sizes, good hook holds too. Great views of the strike and the initial thumps on the commercial feeder. Do carp usually wake up this early in February? " Just watched the whole episode and it was the best winter session on YT seen recently.. Oh oh oh drop back" keep bagging Jamie.
Hahaha thanks John and thanks again for watching! Oh no I'm not one for standing by my box usually but I was setting another rod up on that occasion so that's why I had the drag set so loose! No I've never known them wake up this early so hopefully the milder weather will continue :)
Great video Jamie, but please show more tips going round, ie.point the camera at the tip, then we can understand "drop backs and liners and wrap rounds"
I will definitely try them I don't really try waters .mainly I use pellet or meat when I method feed or hybrid I absolutely love feeder fishing.love your channel🤗
Managed to get 5 2lb+ bream of the river thurne Saturday joy after a long cold wet winter. Hopefully we might get a few more before the end of the season now the weather is well on the up
Went out Saturday on my feeder with my pal sat next to me it was windy but we had a fantastic day 40-50 roach, Hyde each with a 8lb carp too on double maggot
Brilliant , I am going weds and it should be 16 degrees in the east of England. If you hadn’t had a bite how long before u reeled in and tried another area ? I will be on the method
Thanks mate! I sometimes save and freeze them for future pleasure/filming sessions but I always mix fresh in matches. On this occasion I gave the left overs to a couple of young lads fishing a few pegs away mate
Thanks Rob mate! The Horizon 3000 is really nicely balanced with that rod and I just had 6lb Horizon mainline on it, no shock leader or anything mate :)
Hi mate, can you tell me is the x class landing net handle light and easy to use at 4m? Have you used the cheaper aquas 4m? If so how do they compare? Thanks
Yes I've used the Aquos and it's ideal especially for the money and I still carry and use the power handle for when I'm targeting bigger fish. Never had a problem with it. The Horizon does everything I need though with it having 2 threads I can use it on natural waters and commercials but the main reason I carry that one is because it goes to 5.5m which I sometimes need on some of the natural venues I fish mate.

i used to go to the lakes where my next match was going to be and bag up just like this but when the sunday arrived and the all in was called i used struggle like hell what a head doer that is lol
