My heart goes out to anyone who has to do brakes on a Honda TRX. My TRX450FM was also a nightmare. I love Honda but that rear brake design is bad. On mine the shoes rub constantly with no way to adjust them to not rub. It was that way before replacing them which was the reason I dove into that job.
Great video. I must say that my heart did a little flip flop when you went to put that front hub back on, and forgot the spacer! I hollered "NO!" but then you saw your mistake and saved the day! Very nice work on a miserable job.
Slightly off topic, but Thanks Cody I'm finally putting my CB900C carbs back together following your Master Carb Rebuild video I purchased awhile back. I'll be joining as a member soon once I've installed them & got the bike running.
As always,LOVE YOUR VIDEOS Cody!!! After watching this one,all I can say is,I'm GLAD mine is a motorcycle! Lol. I replaced the rear-brake shoes on my 01' Honda CB750 Nighthawk (just like yours) and experienced ZERO problems with taking things OFF,putting things back ON,etc. As I'm sure You know, the job was extremely easy to do,and I upgraded the shoes in back there,so now the rear brake stops wonderfully! (after first, breaking it in). THAT job however, looked like a pain in the A**!!! Lol. Thanks for posting! : >)
Thank you for this work. I would like to ask you. My 120cc scooter has an unknown defect, which is that it mixes gasoline with the oil. Although I changed the gasoline pump, the same problem. In your opinion, is this problem in the carburetor or the injector? It leaks gasoline when the engine is idling. Thank you.

Cracking video as usual Cody - warts and all. It's not the mistakes you make but how you correct them.
That was awesome 👌 had needle bearings stuck in an NC suspension linkage. They must glue those things in.

Nice man!
Good job. I think some people underestimate the work and skill mechanics do.

Great video !!
Thanks man!!
You can remove the whole axle by unbolting spindle on other side and use two 2x4 to bang down at a vertical angle
Yep my 1984 200 es was like that on the back break.
I would say 90% of pre 2000s have locked or neglected rear brakes 😂

Hi buddy
I hope you made a profit doing this job. Book says 2.5 hours to R&R, yea right. Did you expand your vocabulary?
Profit! That exists? 😆 vocabulary expanded 👌🏻
👍🏻
Definitely not a fun job.
