Good stuff. Camera work is definitely improving. Being outside in the natural light away from the flickering lights helps. Maybe consider adding a voiceover on some parts to talk through some of what you are doing and why. One of the best bits of the insta stories is the knowledge you pass on
You boys are good grafters for sure. Up so early to travel so far and do the job. Barely time to eat lol and all the way back home it takes some doing. REAL JOB REAL PEOPLE IN THE REAL WORLD OF WORK hats off to you well done😁❤
i enjoyed this....immersive, honest and British heavy machinery for a change. good work....maybe needs a bit more explanation of process, if Baz is too busy after filming, you could use captions? well done on viewing figures.
Baz your mad , to drive all that way 8 hrs doing the job then drive all the way straight back your off f. Rocker but as always brilliant viewing keep it coming 😂🇬🇧✅
Done a dumper like that and had the pin seized. Neat job with the plate work. I take it there was no room to weld underneath. Do you have a depot in Scotland or are you recommended? Brilliant work, I hope somone shared the drive
Split dozens of these, never rolled them appart that easy. Am i right saying youve just lifted the skip far enough over to take the weight off the centre and threw a jack under the skip to roll it?
I used have to do these alone - usually under pressure on weekends as we ran a good few of them. First doors I'd lift off the skip to get shut of the weight off the front end - once the bins off, stuff balances a lot easier & you're not dicking about fighting the pull of the skip. I'd bang a big bottle jack to hold the backside with the rear wheels chocked & put the forks in under the front so I could wheel it out & in easily - after the first one that way, it became a bit of a breeze splitting them where other lads here would be going "Big Job that...." It kinda ain't once you get the process dialled in. :-)
Instead of the gas-axe, I used jank the steering hard left then right full so I could get a 9" grinder with a skinny disc in & slice the pin above & below - a lot less faff & mess - plus less chance of damaging the carrier. Real quick way of doing it too. Plus I'd no gas-axe... lol.. did have a grinder tho.
@@welderfabber I bought "a thing" today I wish I'd had 20 years ago - you'd like. It's a "joke" of a €65 Yeswelder that runs on 13amps - I unboxed it & thought I'd been posted a toy by mistake. Went used it for a bit (bear in mind I'm used to Kemmpi/Mosa gear) - if I'd had that little git years ago, it would have made me millions. I made millions over the years welding anyway - but I'd have made more with this. Little gem of a tool. You could chuck it in the glovebox. Mind = Blown by how well it welds. We craned gensets up on heights that were half a ton & welded shyte compared to this little lunchbox - joking aside. I could have walked up with it in me pocket.

Hi Baz, what is the cutting gun your using called, and what jet fitted?
Interesting video!!! How does a company decide when time to get rid of a machine over big repairs like this??
If treated right they can last a long long time.
Split dozens of these, never rolled them appart that easy. Am i right saying youve just lifted the skip far enough over to take the weight off the centre and threw a jack under the skip to roll it?
Yeah, but we used forklift on the skip side and jacked the other.
