Some detail of company processes too would be interesting, eg do you go and get a po before you go and get pins done or plate rolled or something, how do you know suppliers won't rip you off? Do you get quotes first for items etc
@@rm76543 You would be an absolute fool to attempt to rip off such a large and busy Company who most likely use you on a consistent basis and pay their bills on the dot for your equipment etc. The invoices would soon raise an eyebrow at Fox you would imagine 🤷🏻♂️
Callum is spot on mate. Your lucky too have a young bloke he is one of few left who actually wants to be in the trade anymore. But on the other hand he is being trained by the best. Top video Baz keep them coming
The Fox giving you a bigger fab shop, which is recognizing you and the lads hard work, is amazing. In my neck of the woods, a great boss that helps the people that help them is a dying breed. Cheers to you and your mates on site, and I have the utmost respect for The Fox...the level of respect for those hat actively keep the business afloat, and the potential headache of legally showing the good and bad(reality of a man in the yard) on The Chronicles...that's brilliant thinking to show a documentary on how the way all of these machines, and operators work in the confines of their machinery, and those that put in the hours to keep everything running. People don't give their all for someone, or a company, that doesn't believe in them, and I wish I could work for The Fox to have a change of thought that is sadly lacking in my country. Cheers lads, and The Fox; I look forward to every video in every week. Lots of love, Keith from Arkansas.
Good morning Baz and The director and team .... Another cracking vlog .... I wish I was 30 yrs younger mate I'd love to work for you ... Good old fashioned graft, hard work and a pat on the back when you get it right.... obviously a bollocking of you don't but that's how you learn in work and life !! For my time in life I'll gladly take it all in on the settee , warm with a coffee😊. It's very easy and enjoyable watching people with experience...locate a problem then resolve it especially on these large crushers .... Keep up the great work. I retired at 55 thinking I was "home free" after many years in stressful positions now I find myself with Leukemia...it's a new challenge to deal with but watching your show....the professional strugglers, D and J projects, Brockstone landscapes keeps me happy and entertained so thank you to you all for taking my mind off things .... Merry Christmas ⛄⛄⛄ Gary
That hippo wash should be more pressure than than that it’s probably silted up in the pressure pump tank we used to have to pump the water out then dig the silt out once a year the trucks should come out clean enough without the need of the wheel bath 👍🏻
Lovely welds great tradesman. You have a great squad. It’s your work ethics that keeps them motivated. You would never ask anyone to do a job that you have not done or could do yourself. Brilliant Baz. Foxy is lucky to have you 👍👍👍👍🏴
We had a Hipo wash at the Quarry i work in, We drilled the holes bigger in the upright poles to let the bigger pieces of dirt out so they didn't get blocked as often, This also helped with cleaning dirt off wheels as the quantity of water was greater,
We’re so lucky to be able to see behind the scenes of a set up like this. Baz has such a can do attitude that isn’t that common…guess that comes with years experience. Thanks for making the effort and getting these out there 👊🏻
Love to hear James stories about cranes, when these people go history goes , amazing lorry firms have to clean mess off roads and farmers can do what they like [ motorcyclist }
Another great episode Baz. Think it would be good to get a small sit down history of all your guys as they all have there own speciality. The camaraderie between them all is top class and hard to come by. Keep up the hard work 👍
Another great episode baz, the director is doing a brilliant job ! Keep the episodes coming 😁 definitely would like to know more about ainscough crane hire history 😀
I would have asked my old boss for a 15 tonne crane and he would have cut me back to a 10 tonne. That welding was outstanding workmanship, well done. Thank you Baz & Co

Back again, I had my own business, I was hit by Covid and I could afford to keep it going, business rates were extreme, rent was expensive and the doors were closed for best part of 6 months. Come to reopening and I simply could afford to keep going. A very tough and bitter pill to swallow, but I tried and that’s the main thing. I learnt a lot from that, it’s all life experience
I used to spend half my working life at Ainscough’s maintenance depot near Heathrow, sorting out all the tyres on their cranes, wagons and ballast trailers.
Did I hear the word Asphalt? You'll be running Pavers and Rollers out the yards next, fun times coming. Thanks for sharing guys, have a great weekend all.

Good vids and info , my apprenticeship yts in 88-92 I was in North Notts , but platers and welders from Tyneside are Clydebank, shipbuilders, and local power station platers are boiler makers when out of shutdown, great experience , your right about the mechanisation of cut and drill stations on steel frame buildings. We did some big beams 1100mm high X 400mn wide ,all gas cut , have you got a link to the quick connectors on torch ? All the best Fred
