That aside, I loved the whole thing, from beginning to end. All the songs fit the comics extremely well, the artstyle is awesome and I was incredibly invested in the plot. While it is sad to see this series end, especially because I am curious about what C&M has been up to in this verse (especially because they are most likely going to notice that the Devils Casino is now owned by KD), this was still a great conclusion non the less. Extra: This video has got me wondering what Cuphead & Mugman would look like as a boss level.
I adore this series of yours. That bit where KD was sneaking from shoulder to shoulder and the audio mimicked it was my favorite point technique wise. Otherwise the song fit the story well, the panels synced nicely, and I love that across the comic i can see your progress as a creator. The comics get more detailed, more color, cleaner lines and you've told a cohesive story through out. Way cool!

OKAY ANALYSIS TIME GUYS long comment here - Start off with KD going “fuck that” and slamming the door. I’m fairly certain this is Dice giving dev one last chance to just back off because every idea of fighting the devil is a bad one, even if Dice saw him be defeated before. (Which might be the reason he’s willing to put up a fight anyways.) - the fight card. Not only is this a clever way to introduce the song, but I think this is representation that Dev is accepting the challenge against this boss battle. - Dev walks into Dice’s casino (castle?) and sees a bunch of eyes watching him. Obviously there is staff watching him and ready to fight, which Dice seems to send away. But I also think this is representation of the pressure of the situation for Dev. Everyone’s watching and *judging* the both of them. Dev knows they’re taking Dice’s side so they’ll see him negatively no matter what, and he feels that. - the jump onto Dice’s throne. First of all, Dice’s thorn is shaped vaguely like a heart and is purple, so this is Dice saying that this is his, but still the gold detail on the sides and arms makes me think of the Devil’s throne, thus I’m taking it as symbolism that by claiming his own throne he sees himself on the same level or reference as the Devil. - more on the throne, dev looks like a giddy kid when jumping onto it, because he’s not suppose to be on it. In any royalty it’s practically treasonous to sit on the throne if you’re not royal. (I even have the personal head canon that no one is allowed to sit in the Dev’s throne and he’d rip anyone who tries a new one, only exception is dice sitting/leaning on it if he’s already seated in it) thus, dev knows and openly disrespected that position of power by sitting on the throne, and by being as relaxed as he is with it- probably isn’t the first time he’s done this with royalty and/or he doesn’t see much of a struggle coming his way for it. - the contract. It’s paired with “They system is done for” and this Dev’s way of saying that Dice isn’t able to get away with this, he’s still owned by the devil, this is gonna end. And he seems almost smug about it, probably as he’s sick of the games. He’s confident he puts dice back into place here buuuuttt - he has memories of him and dice, who he used to be, how they used to hang together. Dice remembers it too. And the pink heart burns up, signaling that those times of love and fun is gone and it’s not coming back. -Dice kicks over the throne which is HELLA HEAVY BTW. Assume the chair itself is what, 60 pounds? And that’s being very nice? The devil has to be 140lbs at least, and with one leg, DICE IS S T R O N G. -Dev is also p shocked by this too, obviously he’s underestimated dice here. Hell, he pulls out his trident and has to to defend himself, he’s instincts took over and said “this is a dangerous situation.” -pay attention to Dice’s face with the lyrics, he’s stating to dev that he was toxic to him and that he believes it was all for money/material. He’s *genuinely really hurt* by this even months/maybe even a year after it happened. Dev simply cannot dent that there has been emotional damage at this point, but he’s likely still in denial about it. - Dice dashes/teleports around dev, so his magic is still there and he’s hella experienced with it. You can see Dev sweat and began to realize how deep he’s in now. He likely was expecting a fight or some physical struggle, but not like this. - we also see Dev use his other forms. Part of me really wants that’s dev’s broken halo showing, thus showing how true he is in that moment, which is a very scared and vulnerable moment for him. - Dice knocks him out clean, which is a hell of a feat. Thus showing again that the devil is defeat-able. One thing here is it’s possible dev is still weak from his previous defeat and that’s why he’s defeated so easily and quickly and/or the cards and dice really just pack a helluva punch. - dice drops a contract and card. He had to take the time to w r I t e that. So either he had done it sometime in the pass, anticipating this moment, or did it in the few moments Dev was walking into the place. - “my island” Dice is really setting claim and territory here. He’s putting up strong boundaries and strong enforcements for them. - Dev is hella pissed at this, another lost and the gall of Dice doing that, but seems to get over it quickly, likely as he’s forming a new plan. Overall? It’s a hella interesting point in this plot leaving the reader on the edge of their seat wanting to know more. I know I’m definitely interesting in seeing what Dev is planning to do from this point on. Also, hella good art and animation???? Zara I’m so p r o u d.

I also wanted to point out a observation at the beginning where it seemed like Dice was upset that the Devil harmed the towns people. He went from being nervous/scared, saw the injured towns people, and was like "you dun fucked up" I guess the respect goes both ways for Dice and the town. The town protects him and he protects them.
i'm watching this since i wasn't able to watch from the beginning of the stream and that part at 2:19 Where the sound switches from right to left is so satisfying omg, Same with the entire scene starting from 3:16 so damn cool! I love the whole thing but my favorite has got to be at 2:52 where the Devil is trying to crush the spades card (which is also the one that Dice gave him before he left) but the heart card (the one that Dice ripped up and threw into the ocean) appears to be stronger than the devil because he forces his hands/hoofs open

I love the whole thing but my favorite has got to be at 2:52 where the Devil is trying to crush the spades card (which is also the one that Dice gave him before he left) but the heart card (the one that Dice ripped up and threw into the ocean) appears to be stronger than the devil because he forces his hands/hoofs open
I thought my headphones were going wonky but it was just dice switching between speakers lmao that's so cool

BlackSpades is 2nd Eldest- Reckless, Badass, Loud, Obnoxious but very playful, loves to annoy PinkHeart just for the sake of it and loves to read with his immediate younger brother, BlackClub. Also loves to flirt around with the ladies (and sometimes guys)
RedDiamond is Youngest- Playful, More of a ‘Do now, regret later’ person, Goofy, Sadist, Always tries to impress KD (in a cute way), and innocent yet demonic at the same time, loves to cook and works at the bar at the casino
BlackClub is second youngest- Very intimidating, quiet, introverted, reserved, but knows the most about hurting people and has violent tendencies. very smart and loves to read in spare time.
KD- The rich, single mom
Devil- The dad that didn’t come home with the milk till 15 years later
