Checking the wave trail (or objects in the level) to see how much they’re pulsing is now one of the first things people do when checking if a completion is speedhacked.

slaughterhouse just looks like the perfect hell themed level. it's not cringy like all the other blindingly red levels are, in fact it's designed to be imposing and shocking with the song and sheer difficulty. with that said, i don't think we'll be seeing any more hell-themed demons after slaughterhouse in a looong while
Decode was not considered an insane demon. I was there, at best the consensus was a hard demon, but people very quickly picked up on that the last wave is much easier than it looks. Even back then when people were shit at the wave, it was not considered an insane.
this is why i stopped playing when i was in the top 20 in the world back in the years.....there were so many hackers incoming that it was not even funny to see the leaderboard messed up

3:21 if you try to slow down the game with cheat engine it even won't slow down music, so cheaters didn't have level complete sound because they recorded a video without sound and then added music in the video editor
mute trolls points are valid, except the beginning wave part .the "inhuman" clicks shown as an example are easily achievable by having the ability to butterfly or click very well up to 5 cps at least . which is a good point in finding cheaters but it could also cause people to be falsely accused of cheating.
You should make a video explaining how people catch whether or not people use macros too (yes, I know most of the time people use speedhack to record macros, but there's also another really cool method that's way more reliable)
i can do that thing in the thumbnail sometimes on accident my mouse is low quality and sometimes it stops holding for like a millisecond and then starts holding again
I'm pretty sure the audio thingy with speedhacking was a bit different. None of the audio would be altered, meaning that once the recording was sped back up to normal speed, everything, sound effects and song included, would sound faster and higher pitched than they were supposed to be. To hide this, they would mute the recording and replace the audio with the song edited on top, but they wouldn't add the sound effects. Besides that, the orbs and decorations would pulse in sync with the song even when the game was slowed down, meaning that once the footage was sped up, the pulsing would be way faster and more insane than normal. That for a while was a dead giveaway, and hackers tried to get around this by turning off all music. Around that time, any video with no pulsing at all was suspected of being hacked, because of that same reason.

i actually used to hack and i feel honestly horrible for it, my goal now is to beat every level i hacked legit. and nothing can or will stop me from doing that.
