I always liked these cars. My shop teacher bought a new one in 1963. It was in White like this one. Two things I remember well about 1963, I was in the 7th grade, and I still remember this car. The other, I was at school when I learned JFK had been shot in Dallas.
My friend has a 426 Belvedere 440 with a 4 speed and we used to push it out of the garage and go down the Main Street and gobble up all the competent and then drive it back to the house while they were at the car show in the 68 Charger. I am going to have to reach out to him now on the Facebook and see what he's up to lately. Back in the 80's was a great time to be a teenager and the freedoms that are gone today was a great treasure to enjoy. Good morning to you all.
Man Jeff, you know how to pick the best cars to feature…..those that often wouldn’t get much “air time.” Over the past several years I have come to appreciate the “roomier” cars. I once looked at buying a white Polara but didn’t pull the trigger. That grille on this one is huge! Love the interior….do you know if those seats were originally upholstered that way in two-tone? They look amazing! Love the big steering wheels, too. I can’t believe how clean that engine bay is, they really put a lot of effort into this car. Very surprised it was as clean as it is.

Hey Jeff.A true sleeper and very well done. That styling was in a class by itself. The older it gets, the better it looks.
