I somewhat agree on the Mori, but I think to make it look even cooler it would've been good to have the suit open up and consume the survivor then spring locking, personally I think that would've looked better, but it really depends person to person. But still a cool looking Mori

@Leonax 2001 If you look at the model used, there is more than enough space for a body inside of it, I made sure to take that into consideration before mentioning it
I really like the attention to detail in the perks and add-ons section, instead of just putting random stuff down, Rarithlynx and Co. took the time to write all of the descriptions down
I love this whole concept but I always thought it’d be cool to have a thing with the ability where there’s spring lock suits around the trial that the killer could put the survivors in or the survivors could hide in that’d give them a chance to be caught in it.
I feel like that would be instant death, they're sweaty, panicking, and it's wet outside (in the map.) But it'd be awesome for them to be put in it as alternative for hooking after a survivor is caught.
It like a locker but there is a chance of spring lock failure if they enter it fast putting them in the downed state. This makes it not only simi accurate as when running you are breathing hard and sweating. But also showing how careful you have to be to not have a spring lock failure
The way this could be made is replacing lockers with the springlock suits and either make them timed and once it runs out you get springlocked and downed or it would have skillchecks
I don’t want Springtrap to step on Pryamid Head’s toes but I think It’d be cool if there was an alternative to hooking a survivor where you place them in a springlock suit. Maybe a golden Freddy and Bonnie suit spawn in the map and act the same as hooks, where you have to pass skillchecks to even at stage 1?
I was thinking he could spawn a phantom which follows a survivor quite fast, but instead of doing anything physical it just alerts Springtrap to their presence and disables that survivor’s main ability for a bit
His talents are better not wasted on a lame company like BHVR. Heck, if he built his own DBD and actively played ot and fixed stuff, it could outsell DBD. I'm sure that's what's gonma happen with VHS
That was absolutely amazing! The team that worked on this did an outstanding job! I sure do hope the DBD devs see this video and maybe consider actually putting Afton in the game!
@@Whiplash-sn8nt you be surprised, fnaf is a license that is on their radar, but due to being a huge collection of horror icons, licenses keep on pouring in as companies want behavior to use them. Fnaf might take a while, but it will come eventually as behavior is aware of it

@@YourMomsAltAccount It's not Scott that kept Springtrap out. It's more likely that Scott wanted to wait to actually have Springtrap "escape" purgatory before he gets into a killer playground. Let alone that technically speaking, Springtrap barely killed adults, almost 100% of his direct victims were children.
This... is incredible! It was a great pleasure to be apart of this as the vocals for Michael Afton, you all deserve a round of applause for not just this, but all your concepts. They are truly a product of hard work and dedication, and I hope you guys find the recognition and success you all rightfully deserve. But I understand this is a one off thing, so we'll just have to see what the future brings. Either way, I thank you for choosing me to help bring this fan concept to life!
Love the concept! I definitely disagree with FNAF being too childish for dbd, but I think if springtrap were to be added he would need to be designed in a less blockier way and maybe have some blood/gore effects on the suit or even an eyeball or some teeth like how springtrap actually is described in the series
@@CraftyM2016 I assume they made the models in blender and they brought the them into Unreal Engine and painstakingly hand-animated all of the animations and gestures. This would not be a truly playable game as is even if you were able to recreate it exactly
everything about this is great! the map design and the character biography especially. my only issue is the concept of giving spring trap an axe (or an external weapon in general). my man is in a rusty mechanical suit, he could give you tetanus just by slapping you.
I like the idea of replacing the standard terror radius with the ambience that plays when Springtrap is near in the source game. It adds another layer of flavor on top.
BHVR, these guys have basically done all of the work you need to. Just buy the license, give these guys some royalties as well for doing most of the brainstorming you need to, and all you have to do is just tweak the game balancing. Not only have you made your fans happy, not only have you supported an amazing fan creation, but you've also done very little on your part for profit
@@pwrsocket wraith has stealth, i agree the ability to find any survivor is a bit op but they could easily change that, and the one shot ability is pretty balanced. its most likely similar to a hillbilly charge but with less distance. i think if they just make the ability to find any survivor last like 5 seconds and only in a range of maybe 20m or something it would be a lot more balanced.
I feel like having an instadown ability that doesn't require any addons or chargeup or anything is pretty OP. For every killer that has an instadown, it takes time and effort to charge up. Ghostface and Myers are the two best examples. Ghostface requires you to stalk them for some time without having your stealth broken, and Myers requires you to stalk all the way up to tier 3. Both of these are also only active for a short time. This almost reminds me of a wraith, but you just get to instadown out of cloak, and the cloak drops faster than wraith's too. Well, for the tradeoff of not actually being invisible.
I think it could level out, considering he could easily get looped into oblivion. The tracking ability is too much. Maybe a silent terror radius. Might as well remove the cloak ability, too since he's a freaking robot and visible anyway.
I feel like, if he had a second more of charge time, and he charges in a straight line, then it'd be like Wraith + Demo making it easier to dodge. I agree that the tracking may be too much.
I think that all that should happen is making it a linear lunge like Demo. He's so weak in the chase that I can agree with freebie instadowns, but he should still have to earn the hit.
@@BorgBunnie ya that’s what I’m thinking about like his attack is a lunge and can only go that direction so survivors have a chance. Also he feels a bit like demo mixed with wraith which could make up for demo being out of the game now
This is S tier stuff my man, the only issue I have is that the lunge can instantly put people into the dying state for little to know work. It should just injure or apply a deep wound. Other than that it’s perfect
My issue isnt even the dying state, it’s that we dont know how much control he has over the lunge. If he’s confined to the direction he’s facing when initiating it it’s a perfectly fine ability. If not, it may be a bit much. We dont know though because the only gameplay we get of it is against people who dont move. We also dont know if there’s any reason to not be in phantom mode the entire match, it seems to have no drawbacks/cooldown
@@Henry-iz7iv The drawbacks are that it does slow him down initially when he activates it so there would be no reason to go into phantom mode during a chase, but when he comes out he does charge up a lunge so you can hide behind a wall, and if he misses the attack the cooldown is insanely long. But yeah, if he does have full control then it would be too much, if not, then he is perfectly balanced, I agree.
@@Captain_Toasty At the same time though, I feel like it would be in a sense like Billy's chainsaw. What reason would there be to not go into phantom mode in order to get the insta down? I agree with the fact that it should put someone into deep wound instead of an insta down. An insta down Demo power plus the stealth of a Wraith seems just way too op imo.
@@EliteFang01 I guess, but the thing is, he still goes base speed, he doesn't have much map traversal at all when in the phantom mode unlike wraith, which gets a speed boost while being cloaked and when he uncloaks he gets another speed boost. Springtrap is also a lot more easily seen and I think it actually increases his terror radius while in phantom mode, there was another video of it, somewhat like a trailer and they sad 'He can be heard map wide' or something similar to that, im too lazy to go onto the video and find it. I think the reason not to stay in it would be around loops really, if he does only thrust into a straight line with little control than the survivors could hide behind a barrier slowing him down immensely, I'd probably say spring trap is high risk high reward, you fail, the survivor will get away, you master him, you get rewarded immensely which is very balanced in my opinion if he were to be released like this he wouldn't be all that game breaking.
Other cosmetics ideas Technician's demise (very rare Michael Afton cosmetic) : That fateful night where he crossed the line between life and death...for the first time... (It would be the uniform he would wear during Sister Location) The bully's mask (Frank) (very rare the Legion mask) : A red fox-shaped mask, indulged with a brother's guilt of going too far (the mask young Michael wore when he "caused" the bite of 83. A good torture for Michael by the Entity) Maybe the other bullies' masks for the other Legion members Maybe a Vanny legendary skin Some charm ideas : Freddy/Fredbear plush (uncommon/rare) (Survivor and killer) Something related to Remnant/Agony (rare) (Killer) Something related to the Puppet (mask/plush...) or Charlie (Survivor)
The concept is BRILLIANT and fits the lore perfectly. My only complaint is that I don't think scraptrap would really need an axe to assault or kill anyone, he's basically a haunted Terminator robot. His attack cooldown animation could've been something like a servo motor for his arm or wrist locking from impact, and he'd snap it back in place with a sickeningly wet sound of flesh being chomped by steel. But still AMAZING.
This team is so dedicated, they went out of their way to write the lore up to the newest (current) installment, went so far as to write descriptions and even add-ons and their details, even though none of these were really needed. Shows you the passion this great team has! One major gripe I have though is Attraction's ability and how it essentially powercreeps Wraith's power. Are there any _real_ differences between Attraction's main power and Wraith's main power? To give credit where its due, Desolate Hope (the special ability that allows you to perfectly track Survivors with almost 0 errors/misleads) is interesting and dare I say unique, but the main power shouldn't be Wraith 2.0.
i believe that Phantom Trespasser more than allowing you to become invisible, it makes it difficult for survivors to understand where you are, while still knowing you are around somewhere
You don't become invisible, just no terror radius or red stain. You are plainly visible while the power is active. Given the nature of the power and it's ability to insta down, it's more like Ghostface than anything else.
Even tho i like the Burntrap version of Afton. I really hope they will go with this one, the original, iconic Springtrap. Many people know Afton as him, and may not even know about his next incarnations. I just hope what they will not go with Burntrap instead cause he is more relevant due to the game releasing not long ago. I just really want Springtrap as a killer, whatever you say, he will always be #1 choice of a killer from Fnaf franchise, and whatever you may think, he will always fit the dark tone of DBD
@@P.H691 Glitchtrap should definitely be in, if Vanny is going to be making more appearances then she'll definitely be one as well. Theoretically other animatronics could become cosmetics as well, just depends.
Y’all really thought of everything! This is such a love letter to FNaF fans I’m grinning ear to ear watching it. The mori is perfect and even including burntrap as a skin just puts a bow on the already super well made package. Excellent work
I never understood this argument, we have a giant man in an elephant and chicken costume and a flamboyant and funny Kpop star. How does a child murderer stuck inside of a rotten metal suit not belong compared to that?
I think its just because they have the impression that fnaf is a franchise that is made for a younger audience, and looking at the latest games fnaf got I cant blame them for thinking that
The only two things that were missing for me were a perk named "I always come back", and the ScrapTrap skin, but I think you're working on the last skin. It's really cool to see it in action and hopefully we'll see this on the game. Also I think that Springtrap needs a nerf, but I think you wanted a quick gameplay. And let's see what you can do as the map offering, Maybe an old fredbear plushie named "Old Bear Plushie" can do the trick.
I don't think the scraptrap skin would make sense to the mori, he will only have one arm, so that makes it less easier to carry and looks uncomfortable
I love springtrap as a killer. Always thought it would be better if they made a killer with multiple bodies that possesses them across the map - which would allow for 4 of the animatronics.
@@identiikit I mean - having 4 animatronic bodies lying dormant that have an animation as they are 'possessed' would allow a killer to teleport across the map and block certain areas - providing pressure without any OP traversal methods or chase-breaking features.
We already had many "teleporting" killers so it makes sense they went in a different direction. Also the animation of doing and showing all of that would be a headache. But was it just me but he seemed fast as fuck in the gameplay? This makes me think The Attraction would be a great killer to play but rather simple.
This is very well done. The Mori, the Perks, even the map looks incredible. Not even to mention how Springtrap and Michael look. I can tell a lot of passion went into this project, tho this may not come to the game due to curtain events with Scott. Even if this is the case, this still the best concept idea for a killer I have seen on TH-cam. And hey, with a little bit of blood stained magic who knows. After all, he always comes back.
This gameplay concept, along with the spotlight concept is absolutely amazing, you and your team have put so much work into the lore, the map details, the design, the killer mechanics and even the music! I really hope FNAF comes to DbD. P.S. I *need* that chase music on its own to listen to, it's sooo good!
Pretty good! I think the mori could utilize the springlocks of afton's suit a bit since him 'biting' the survivors and breaking their neck seems a bit weird given that his head is still in that 'helmet', could bite them then have the blood set off the springlocks that dig into the survivor's face or something.
I gave it some thought, and i think that his famous hand crank should get involved with the suvivors neck, twisting the spine right out of the body. Only leaving the spinless corpse behind
@@Potatow_manno, dbd doesn't like having moris that detach limbs, the only time they put effort into a detailed Mori was Oni because he ripped out their tongue, hag and clown because it's the only time you see anything remotely resembling an injury
I always love the ambient weather and lighting in your gameplays, for the actual game it would give it a much eerier feel and far scarier than what it is, love this concept as a whole too
What would add to it as well is if there was a weather system and each map had a chance of gaining a thick fog making it harder for both survivors and killers to see, maybe even having the weather types limit certain abilities: like the fog decreasing the range of aura sensing perks and maybe heavy rain making it harder for players to pick up sound notifications
Looks awesome, I'm not sure how I feel about his just having a fireman's axe, also his Mori doesn't really fit his character very well but hey it's badass
@@mothichorror446 He should probably have a knife, sharp endoskeleton/springlock piece. Maybe a crank (he's seen using one to destroy animatronics in FNAF 3)
Damn, I’ve always been used to the animatronics grabbing to kill that I never thought about them using weapons, then when I realized it makes a lot of sense for Springtrap to use weapons since he was an actual murderer when he was alive.
This is just so god damn beautiful. You and the team, once again, knocked it out of the park with hard work and determination and, thank you all for that. Here's hoping we get a "special delivery" for the anniversary this year! ;)
I don't even play DbD, but I do play Freddies. I have to say that the feeling and brutality of William got captured there very well. The sound profile is also well balanced, not too ear piercing or out of sync
For sure this guy would bring back the thrill of getting chase before I started I was scared over time I got used to it and it didn’t feel the same so I took some time from playing
Absolutely AMAZING work! The devs should be paying YOU to put this chapter in! There are 2 questions I have tho: 1. Is there any reason Springtrap wouldn't want to be in Trespasser Mode 24/7? He seems to have no penalties and an instadown. 2. Is Burntrap's weapon a Security Bot head mounted on a pole? Suhweeeeeeet!! Only way it could be better: give it a Map Bot alternative skin XD
I think a penalty could be that when getting out of Trespasser mode, you're only limited to looking through a small cone infront of you because yeah otherwise it'd only get countered by rounding a corner, while with the cone it forces you to be smarter
The way I see it, it would mostly depend on how coming out of the power operates, and how it works immediately after. Going off the video, it seems like there is a ~1.5 second delay before you can swing, and you're slowed. From the power-text it reads like it would be faster, and or longer distance lunge than normal. Might be something similar to an Oni lunge when he's in his power, mixed with the uncloak delay of Wraith. So, depending on the situation, you wouldn't want to be in your power. The time it takes you to emerge could mean the survivor making a window, or getting around an obstacle that could be difficult to curve. Sometimes its better to get the basic attack and move on.
Everything about this amazing. The only thing I still have trouble with is the fact that Springtrap has an axe. I still think it should be a claw swipe, with the recovery being the hand glitching out. Edit: If not a claw swipe, then a punch. Either way, ditch the axe!
Why claws, he's William afton the weapon he's using is the same weapon he used to destroy the animatronic in fnaf 1 the reason why he's using the axe because it's familiar to him. Claws would be cool but it won't fit for him
@@BaronB.BlazikenBaronOfBarons in the fnaf minigame you play as the animatronic following shadow freddy after following shadow freddy william afton attack you from behind with a axe
Favorite part of this is how the character's power is fairly simple but the wall of text in the description makes it confusing, just like in the actual game!
My god, the work everyone puts into these videos is INCREDIBLE. I've wanted to work on DbD fan-concepts like this myself, but I have no idea what I'd be able to contribute. Fantastic stuff, and I can't wait for the Slenderman video!!
Keep in mind, we could very easily get this due to Scott being more than happy to do collaboration or fan games but no they prioritised making skull merchant and a K-pop "artist"
I love the appearance of the map, the characters, the animations, but I do think the power is a bit op. It's basically the wraith's power, except you have the ability to find survivors with the click of a button and the ability to insta-down survivors after coming out of the power. Also, you have the ability to break pallets, breakable walls, and generators. If you could use this power once every 30 seconds that would be good or if it only lasted 30 seconds, with a cooldown of 20-30 seconds. Also, the mori looks a bit like demo's, but I personally still really like it (it's very cinematic). Overall, fantastic job with this concept.
i agree, its like a mix of wraith and demogorgon except you 1 hit. it either needs to not 1 hit or need to have a big animation/Time to react or cooldown

I was thinking he could spawn a phantom which follows a survivor quite fast, but instead of doing anything physical it just alerts Springtrap to their presence and disables that survivor’s main ability for a bit

@@aspiringvoiceactor645 I mean he allows fan games and FNaF refences in other games
His power is extremley op, being able to find a survivor anywhere anytime, one shot them, and be in stealth is so unfair.
Just dodge lol
@@Captain_Toasty gotcha!
I think the reason not to stay in it would be around loops really, if he does only thrust into a straight line with little control than the survivors could hide behind a barrier slowing him down immensely, I'd probably say spring trap is high risk high reward, you fail, the survivor will get away, you master him, you get rewarded immensely which is very balanced in my opinion
if he were to be released like this he wouldn't be all that game breaking.
I remember watching this 2 years ago! IT FINALLY HAPPENED!!
Other cosmetics ideas
Technician's demise (very rare Michael Afton cosmetic) : That fateful night where he crossed the line between life and death...for the first time... (It would be the uniform he would wear during Sister Location)
The bully's mask (Frank) (very rare the Legion mask) : A red fox-shaped mask, indulged with a brother's guilt of going too far (the mask young Michael wore when he "caused" the bite of 83. A good torture for Michael by the Entity)
Maybe the other bullies' masks for the other Legion members
Maybe a Vanny legendary skin
Some charm ideas :

Something related to Remnant/Agony (rare) (Killer)
Something related to the Puppet (mask/plush...) or Charlie (Survivor)

This...does put a smile on my face. Here’s to hoping he arrives soon. Lord knows this game could use the extra players right now.
Or it get stuck in the clawing gesture and he has to force his hand into a fist to get it unstuck
Springtrap with an axe is just cooler
I agree, this is like if Wraith, Hillbilly and Demogorgon had a love child
They should make a concept trailer for a wraith rework lol 😂
Actually, from what i saw, you only stay undetactable, not invisible
You don't become invisible, just no terror radius or red stain. You are plainly visible while the power is active. Given the nature of the power and it's ability to insta down, it's more like Ghostface than anything else.
THIS AGED SO WELL OMG
The sound design in this is so good! Especially the "Desolate hope" sound effect. Love it.

Even tho i like the Burntrap version of Afton. I really hope they will go with this one, the original, iconic Springtrap. Many people know Afton as him, and may not even know about his next incarnations. @@DantheAuthor They should give the different animatronics their own abilities though

We already had many "teleporting" killers so it makes sense they went in a different direction. Also the animation of doing and showing all of that would be a headache.

I love this so much! I love that even the ambiance sound is from the game. This is so well made and I wish this could come to the game!
Absolutely AMAZING work! The devs should be paying YOU to put this chapter in! There are 2 questions I have tho:
After each hit with the Map Bot alternative, it says “Take a map”
I agree, emerging from trespasser seems a little too op
me coming back when this has actually been confirmed is crazy
This is absolutely amazing and we would love this in DBD. But can we just appreciate the survivors' names? Lmao
That's what I'm saying bro.
Def the best DbD concept I’ve ever seen. If someone told me this was actual leaked gameplay I’d most likely believe them. Excellent work!

IT'S ACTUALLY HAPPENING

It makes sense for the mori to be similar to the demogorgon as a reference to 'the bite' from the storyline.
The mori really should have a been a jumpscare.
Closeup on the survivor's face looking around in terror, they turn around and... jumpscare bite.
We've all waited for so long.. But not anymore, we all can finally rest easy now knowing fnaf is getting in dbd.
