Unpopular opinion: tranzit wasn’t even bad, had so much immersion and was scary asf. It actually felt like a zombie apocalypse and you felt so trapped when Ted drove off in the bus
Jason Blundell that is one thing that I like about tranzit and die rise compared to most of the bo3 maps, those maps really feel like there’s a zombie outbreak all across the earth and the main cast is just trying to survive while in newer maps it’s like zombies are only in the one part of the world that you are in and no one else is fazed by it. Like how in gorid krovi and origins you can look outside the map and see planes fighting and bombs going off with people fighting each other as if there’s not a zombie apocalypse happening. I don’t know maybe there’s a reason for that in canon I can’t really follow the storyline too much anymore but that’s just what I think about it
I remember when I was small (like 5 or 6) when I played noct, I loved that gun. Did bad damage but to me at the time, this is what I liked *infinite ammo *looks nice *fire *fire *fire *fire *fire *chipping their health

Yeah, I definitely agree. Personally, I believe that if you’re making like a tier list of zombies maps, Nacht deserves to be in its own tier. It doesn’t matter where this tier is at, all that matters is that Nacht alone sits within. Let me explain. I believe that Nacht is so barebones and so basic (and it’s also the very first zombies map) that it cannot be truly and fairly compared to any other zombies map, even the other WAW maps like Verruckt and shi no numa. M8 idk how but you got your Alcatraz story wrong... irl all 4 of our characters are real... and yes, they betrayed Arlington, but they were not the ones who escaped, in real life they went to the roof with him making him think they were going to build the plane, but instead they killed him, and they couldn't find a way off the island so they were all sentenced to death by electric chair for the murder of Al "The Weasel" Arlington. This is why to get off the bridge in the game we use electric chairs, and extra fact, the guard, (Brutus in game) has been payed tons of money to tell this story as he was friends with Sal DeLuca, (we see this in game too when Sal asks about his son) so he had a connection with these prisoners, and no, they did not actually kill him, he checked their cells and then moved on, it is unclear HOW the 4 prisoners got out of their cells, however it happened. The REAL Alcatraz escapees that you mention, escaped from chipping away at Frank Morris' AC vent since the constant air flow weakened the concrete, he escaped via raft to the San Francisco Bay along with the Anglian brothers, John and Clarence. They did not kill anyone, and they have no link to the IRL mod of the dead characters, Mob Of The Dead is based on a FAILED escape attempt. Not hating I just hope you see this and maybe correct yourself because I also love mob of the dead and personally think it's number 2 behind origins, but I still love your list, and I just don't want thousands of people hearing a false story about arguable the greatest zombies map of all time❤️👍
Yeah they're already dead and stuck in a cycle of death and the reason Brutus always comes back is he's trapped in hell and is also stuck in a cycle just like the crew. The mob of the dead map is actually just a satanic version of Alcatraz and that's why Brutus is stuck in hell. And this is off topic but I think that the golden spork and the hells redeemer are super easy to get... just sayin...
My personal favorite was zetsubo no shima. You could make imprint plants over and over and survive forever and especially turning into a spider, you were invincible and got points for kills as the spider. I think everyone underestimates this map.
I think Shadows is definitley top 5 the setting is probably the best in all treyarch zombies, the pack a punch is fun and makes sense, and the wonder wepon is hard to get yet is definitley worth the quest. Also the pack a punch skin looks awesome and ee is pretty damn cool.

Personally I don't care for the black ops 3 maps with rituals, quests, puzzles... whatever. BO2 origins and mob of the dead were really good and I enjoyed them, but my FAVORITE maps are Nacht der un toten, Kino der toten, and ascension. I remember when my brother and would play split screen on the ps3 at 2am on the weekends. We would constantly be trying to beat our highest round. No dragons, witches, or squids. Just round after round of yellow-eyed demonic nazi bastards. Nothing more nostalgic and addicting than that.
I think Zetsubou No Shima was amazing and I love that challenge and because it was set in a jungle it had that weird thing with plants and the spiders.... And thrashers..... And spores..... Okay it kinda sucks but is still in my tops five and thank you for giving it the 14th spot 😄
Tim Hansen I have been to alcatraz and it was an amazing and spooky map. Mob of the dead would probably be my #1 map over origins because of the Hells retriever, electric cherry, blundergat, and character ideas.
Bo3 was made for kids i think those maps were far too easy i stopped playing solo because it was too hard to lose bo1 and waw were by far the best maps they peaked on those games
If tranzit was on next gen consoles it may have been better because the ps4 and xbox one could run all it had and also Shangri la and call of dead had really annoying easter eggs on a hard map and such
Yeah Buried is pretty underrated. It is pretty dry though solo. Co Op it has to be one of my favourites. Even in comparison to world at war and black ops maps.
Imagine how much better transit could have been more perks, actually useful buildables, better wonder weapons making the town and farm not empty, better bus upgrades and mystery box on bus and making it easier to get pack a punch

Shadows of Evil was the map that made me fall off of zombies. It was so annoying that I didn’t even bother to buy the DLC’s, and this is coming from someone that considers Call Of Duty Zombies to be the best zombies game of all time.
Bo3 zombies will go down in my mind as the best zombies in history. I did the same as you, after playing SoE at launch, I gave up and didn't play it again until about 8 months later, when I picked up the season pass. I learned the maps and bo3 became my favourite zombies game, plus then chronicles came out and the time I spent on that, jesus christ!

The reason for tranzit being the worst is because of the console it was made on. The lava and fog was supposed to slow you down because the console couldn't render that much that fast. The map was expected to have more game modes and more places to go

This last map should be some kind of Great War map but considering the trend they’ve been on with the aether storyline I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s another remake of one the maps still they haven’t done another version of yet. They still haven’t ever remade call of the dead, tranzit or buried so it could be one of those coming back

I'm here looking back at this video. I will always love call of the dead, mob of the dead, origins and buried personally for the maps being the first kind of expansional zombies maps for me. But always will love kino and der riese. Still have proud memories of making rounds past 60 with the boys after a 7-8 hour grinds. Long Live Zombies. I'm a zombie boy till the day I die.

My personal favorite was zetsubo no shima. You could make imprint plants over and over and survive forever and especially turning into a spider, you were invincible and got points for kills as the spider. I think everyone underestimates this map.

I think Shadows is definitley top 5 the setting is probably the best in all treyarch zombies, the pack a punch is fun and makes sense, and the wonder wepon is hard to get yet is definitley worth the quest. Also the pack a punch skin looks awesome and ee is pretty damn cool.

Personally I don't care for the black ops 3 maps with rituals, quests, puzzles... whatever. BO2 origins and mob of the dead were really good and I enjoyed them, but my FAVORITE maps are Nacht der un toten, Kino der toten, and ascension. I remember when my brother and would play split screen on the ps3 at 2am on the weekends. We would constantly be trying to beat our highest round. No dragons, witches, or squids. Just round after round of yellow-eyed demonic nazi bastards. Nothing more nostalgic and addicting than that.

I think Zetsubou No Shima was amazing and I love that challenge and because it was set in a jungle it had that weird thing with plants and the spiders.... And thrashers..... And spores..... Okay it kinda sucks but is still in my tops five and thank you for giving it the 14th spot 😄
Tim Hansen I have been to alcatraz and it was an amazing and spooky map. Mob of the dead would probably be my #1 map over origins because of the Hells retriever, electric cherry, blundergat, and character ideas.

Shadows of Evil was the map that made me fall off of zombies. It was so annoying that I didn’t even bother to buy the DLC’s, and this is coming from someone that considers Call Of Duty Zombies to be the best zombies game of all time.

Bo3 zombies will go down in my mind as the best zombies in history. I did the same as you, after playing SoE at launch, I gave up and didn't play it again until about 8 months later, when I picked up the season pass. I learned the maps and bo3 became my favourite zombies game, plus then chronicles came out and the time I spent on that, jesus christ!
I loved Shadows of Evil, I think it's definitely one of if not the best. The tone of the map is soomething refreshing and the aesthetics are amazing.

The reason for tranzit being the worst is because of the console it was made on. The lava and fog was supposed to slow you down because the console couldn't render that much that fast. The map was expected to have more game modes and more places to go

This last map should be some kind of Great War map but considering the trend they’ve been on with the aether storyline I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s another remake of one the maps still they haven’t done another version of yet. They still haven’t ever remade call of the dead, tranzit or buried so it could be one of those coming back

I'm here looking back at this video. I will always love call of the dead, mob of the dead, origins and buried personally for the maps being the first kind of expansional zombies maps for me.
