Kustom canz sterling silver - Harley Davidson fairing

My client brought me this fairing along with these two cans that match his factory color.
The cans a great, paint sprayed evenly. The clear coat seems a bit thin, could use a second can. Over all great product.

What did you use for a primer /sealer? Is regular spray can (rustoleum for example) primer okay to use?

I used a 2k primer but depending on the project you can use any primer.

Would you say that the 12oz can is more than enough to get proper coverage?

The paint yes, the clear wasn’t enough, should be enough with two can though.
Or if you get enough build with the first can of clear, let that dry, come back with 1000 grit and do another round of clear.
